I’ve gotta say, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the new album when it first dropped. Partly to do with how much I adored TDP. However, I’ve come back to Heroine recently and it’s hitting different now ❤️🔥

Hearing this live when I saw them on their recent NA tour was euphoric. It could do with some backing vocals since the studio version has a ton of vocal layering, but all around an incredible performance. This song deserves an official music video though.

I see people not liking this new album, but artists / bands always change their sound and that’s okay! I really like the expansion with the new sub genres added , it shows that they are open to much more and this song is special , the lyrics are great
preach Heroine is a good album but not quite their best I perfer the dark pool but Arkangel slaps in my opinion other non-singles like the hellfire club, leather wings, blue velvet, valentine, something terrible came with the rain, raw and heroine the other songs I didn't care for cassnova (i perfer the live version at triple J like a version) hollywood and varsity hearts.
I get all the DEFTONES comparisons (and agree), but seriously, is there still a lot of people who hve never heard of HUM? Been a Hum and Deftones fan since '95, and only recently found out that Chino said Hum's You'd Perfer An Astronaut was a big inspiration on White Pony. Suddenly it all makes sense! But all things considered, I love the vibe that Thornhill have gone for with the last album!
