I was bummed when we didn't sign Springer. I was a little less bummed, but still bummed when we didn't sign Correa. I will be devastated if we let Tucker walk. Letting Springer and Correa walk, while also getting Verlander for cheap should all equal paying this man whatever the heck he wants.

Tucker didn't just hit a grand slam off of the best closer in the MLB, he got into a battle and fouled off all the pitches in the strike zone till he got the one he knew he could hit into the outfield seats. Tuck's knowledge of the strike zone was huge for the Astros to win this game

I had a feeling he was going to get a big hit when the catcher failed to hold onto the tip for the strikeout. So often things like that come back to haunt you. You don't often get second chances.

Such a great at bat by Tuck! I love watching how it unfolds. Diaz's turn was frustrating. Bautiusta was already shook, no way was he going to pitch near the zone. They know he's gonna bite almost everytime. Anyway, Tuck was the same way in 2019 when he was still figuring things out. He's such a great batter now, so patient, Go Stros!

Funny story; I turned this game on around the 5th inning and they were still trailing by a bunch of runs, come the 9th inning, enter Felix Bautista. My mom wanted me to get in the shower but I asked her if I could watch Felix Bautista pitch and mow down my stros. 20 or so minutes later, King Tuck does this. Chills every time. Can’t wait to see him in 2024.
