Started meat based diet 30 days ago. Being an MD myself it questioned many beliefs 😅… but I was in such pain and major fatigue that I “had nothing to lose “…. results so far: fibromyalgia (which I had for decades!) GONE within days (which to me is a miracle!), skin completely improved (puffiness gone, rosacea improved, wrinkles diminished, glowing as my coworkers noticed), BP 105-110/60, pulse 60/min. Minus 4 kg effortless. After suffering from long covid I feel some energy coming back. Nothing to lose? I feel like I am gaining back my life… BTW I am a 52 female, perimenopausal. Gained a lot of weight on a whole food “balanced” diet over the last years (despite no junk/no sugar/ home cooking organic/ plenty of vegetables/ …..)

One year carnivore now- it has healed my life- IBS, Menopause symptoms and arthritis. My Husband's Diabetes is being reversed, our mood is elevated and we are glowing with health. Our 11 year old daughter takes a pack up of steak strips, chicken and prawns to school every day and slowly the teachers and other children are beginning to see through her health and vitality that there may be something to this 'carnivore' diet business. The best way we can spread the message of the health benefits of carnivore is through our own shining example of living.

I've been doing 90/95% carnivore keto for 6 months, but I stopped losing weight and had stabbing pain in the hips that wouldn't go away. So I stopped cheese and cream and started losing weight again.
Next the pain: I used to drink 3 cups of decaf coffee a day. I stopped and the pain disappeared in 3 days.
Now I bounce out of bed like a young woman every day (am 59).
Recently I went hiking for hours every day up on mountains, the Alps. No knee pain, back pain, nothing, no pain at all in the evening, the next day. I'm entirely pain free. It's so weird!! All I had to do was stop coffee. And do keto carnivore!

Despite having watched this video days ago, I have revisted you list of symptons you have suffered from being a vegan. I am ever impressed with the diversity of reactions people have to foods.. especially vegetables. As whole food plant based vegan for 9 years before going carnavour at first bite of meat because my cell's response was sooo immediate, profoundly positive from the get go, for me, it is no doubt veganese was not the best food diet for me.
Good golly I am now in the stage of bringing my super high across the board highest lipid panel calmed down without resorting to statins. About a decade ago I held "statin tryouts". My cells rejected everyone of 9 modt popular ones...unequivocally.
Withing a week of going carnivore I went from a size 22 pant to a size 2-4. Like Butter Bob...my underoos did fall off after 5th day when not only the fat was literally rendered like bacon, but viseral fat which wraps all the innard's organs shrank sooo rapidly and vompletely it left all compression bruised. That was beyond PAIN!
The nurients missing from meat was proven that I was not assimulating absorbing from supplementation.
Look up xenobiotic obseneogens. I have been cell sodden and "ubber" flouritoic for decades from concentrated high dose direct exposures (if thingdcare misspelled iynis becsus I am partially blind in left up rt quad with a bif perfectly round circle of missing vision from an eye stroke bleed in optic nerve from flouride which had caused seizures. Be aware...become very aware of the bioaccumlative cell effect of every bauance of flouride which gets into your body. Do go to FAN...Flouride Action Network. Check it out and learn to avoid even the tiniest bit of flouride. It's highest electronegativity makes it extremely chemically reactive within all cells. Caution and warning...the tea all healthbguru's an everyone promotes has up to 400 times flouride then tap water. Indeed...because of my cell's toxcity, those long unavailable nurients NOT IN MY CELLS because I was eating only plant based caused me to trigger this catalytic event when I did this 180° diet change.

If we want a world full of intellectual, reasonable people, we need to find a way of using all available cropped land for grazing. I am from the land, I know it could be done, for the 8 billion inhabitants or more. For a start, the climate would become cleaner. There is no need for any more tree clearing. Sounds very simple, well it is. Unfortunately, from incorrect food/energy intake, since the huge profits in grains for cheap high profitable food to very wealthy, (billionaires) religious people, not all religious people, we have become stupid, unreasonable, unable to progress in the correct way that would be an advantage for all humans and the planet. It's too late, we are too stupid to see the error of our ways. It won't happen. The dollar should not be the one and only force to control our intellect.

I was diagnosed with ME / CFIDS in 1990, aged 16. My life has been torture. Housebound for 20 of the last 33 years, on and off. Maybe a coincidence, but I too was on Accutane for acne. Six months in total. Then, whilst doing my Leaving (that's the equivalent of GCSEs in Ireland) I developed severe muscle aching, flu like symptoms and tachycardia. Mater hospital here said I was stressed and eventually a private clinic consultant diagnosed me with ME / CFIDS.
I picked up a little around the late 90's but a Tetanus shot floored me and I was housebound then again for 5 solid years and only the last few years have I had the strength to drive. When I walk I get so ill, face pressure, heart pounds, cold all over. Paleo helps a little but not much so gonna go Carnivore.
I'm 50 now and homeless, living in a car in Dublin. 100,000 Ukraine refugees arrived over the last year and the rental market was badly effected. Anyway, gonna give this a go. Have an airfryer in my car (Prius w/ an 2000w inverter). Wish me luck.

Just doing carnivore for a month and diabtes seem stable as blood sugars always in range and reaching lower range now when i never could even on medication. Thats emough proof for me. Being vegetarian for almost 9 years and vegn some of those years found my hormones depleted and misscarrages and mood and emergy dips. Nobody seemed to help. Except naturopath suggested keto and it helped because it cut out carbs, sugar, grains and included animal products. I reversed prediabetes and became pregant naturally. Then got gestational diabets and they put me on insulin injections and told me i must eat carbs. Did my head in and out of concern for growing child i did what hospital told me to do. Baby was healthy and i breast feed for 3 years. But as hormones readjusted i lost appitite andnwas puttingg on weight. Turns out i had diabtes so went on mediactiins and hit the gym and keto diet hard core. Blood sugars looked good on paper but weight increased 6kg and specialist asked me why. Why?? Why didnt she know? I read Jason Jungs book to find out the mediactiins she put me on has insulin racing thru my body constantly. Insulin is fat storing hormone. So no wonder i could loose weight despite keto diet and gym. Medications are death. I persisted a few years chnaging medications and having reactions as doctors seemed oblivious to what they were doing and pprescribed double dose. I was sick of having bad reactions to bad scripts that were nothing but a bangade method. So weaning myself off all medications during plandemic years and had higher blood sugar levels because of it and when i would get sick with flu and it lingered longer. Wasnt easy time but determined to be free from big pharma. I was fasting most days. Now on carnivore i can see hope in this ideology becasuse its logical and shows results fast. I expect and hope to loose 20kg and heal myslef fully from fatty liver and diabtes. But its true there are so many other amazing outcokes that come with carnivore diet. I hope and pray the rest of my family adopts this way also. My husband siad his interested but needs to learn more. But my teenage daughter whos suffered from chronic fatigue and fybromyagia since she was 8 would benefit the most. If only she would be open to it

My hubs works at a big children's hospital (construction/engineering) in the DFW area. We actually own land in 2 states. We're planning to sell one & move to the larger piece where we will be growing cows, other ruminants, pigs, chickens, turkeys, ducks, medicinal herbs, & plants for them. We are going off grid, gonna have rain water, etc. We already have a well that feeds water to 3 different paddocks for cows now. With sustainable farming/ranching needs to be PERMACULTURE DESIGN. Check into Geoff Lawton to learn about that. Thank you Dr Chaffee for all you do!❤

Also I really dislike when people equates my body being "erhm" lean and mean with just having a high metabolism, which totally negates the fact that I only eat once or twice a day depending on how much energy I expend, i.e. if I use my body more I eat more, if I have a slow day, what a ye know I don't need as much food. I also fast a lot.

I relate so much to Rory. Similar issues growing up and some of the same surgeries.Waiting on triple jaw surgery this year and I wonder if that's cause of the food I was raised on. Same exact deal trying to find what worked and going vegan and getting into yoga and that kind of stuff. Learned about carnivore years ago and then went back and forth for a while before coming back to it. I had to research all the facts and think about it. It's more ethical to eat locally raised animals than contribute to the food supply chain. Way more death in raising fruits and vegetables and shipping them all over. Even local farms that grow food have to kill a lot of animals to protect the crops. I thought the ethical thing was vegan. I just caught my first fish since I was a kid last week. I'm starting to feel better again. Going to stick with it this time long term. It's obvious from listening and meeting lots of people. Meat eaters are more calm, rational, compassionate overall. So many vegans I met are misanthropic. I always hated that the most. That worldview puts you in a box. It's hard to get out of. A wrap around ideology totally at odds with reality.

I think it depends on how your body works. I know a bunch full of vegetarians that live in full health and they feel great. But when my Buteyko coach started to recommend doing carnivore, I see a lot more vegetarians with health issues! My sister in law and her husband and two kids are vegetarians. Both kids haven’t eaten meat in their whole life yet. The boy (8) has gut problems (diarrhea) and can’t breath through his nose. He’s very clever but don’t act like an eight yo, more than a 5 yo. He still has his milk teeth. His sister (6) is too skinny, very small and has caries on most of her teeth. The whole family has problems with their teeth. My sister in law has problems with her hormones and is entering menopause just at the age of 38… I think they should try carnivore to get better, but they won’t. They’d rather suffer to the end of their lifes 🤷‍♀️
I have a lot of health issues too, I lived vegan for one year and then my problems got severe. In July I’ll start carnivore. I wish my body could live vegetarian because I LOVE vegetables, but I think it’s not my way.

And I started on the carnivore diet too in May and I'm continuing with the Info I've been getting from the many videos, some from people who have been vegan for years and switched to the carnivore diet. But I started by watching a documentary called "Perfect Human Diet." That documentary showed, through anthropological discoveries that we have historically been predominantly meat eaters and eating a small amount of fruits and vegetables basically because they weren't available. We were hunters and gatherers and most of our ancestry is that. There were a species of vegetarians but they died off.

Great thing about carnivore is that we all do it a little differently, and we’re still a community that supports one another. Some are BBBE. Some are BBBE+F. Some drink coffee. Some eat pumpkin and zucchini. Some are Lion Diet. The foundation to this is, “listen to your own body,” and do what makes it feel and operate the best. 💪🥩

Molars are sharp. Can't slide over each other.
Our stomach acid has a pH a little more acidic than a dog.
We made weapons because we have hands and that resulted in brain expansion.
We probably adapted over hundreds of thousands of years as scavengers.
Nobody knows for certain, but the fossil records back up this hypothesis.
Fruit and vegetables in the grocery stores never existed in nature.
They are grown in chemical fertilizers and heavily sprayed. Franken foods actually.

Why does it really matter? I mean no disrespect, but people can argue back and forth about whether we’re carnivore or omnivore until the cows come home. The questions are: 1) what do you resonate with? AND 2) how do you feel when you eat a certain way?
I think it’s hysterical when vegans (or anyone) say things such as: “Just wait 30 years when you have a heart attack, etc.” I doubt very much the person who was bloated with high blood pressure, pain, and autoimmune issues cares whether they have a heart attack in 30 years when all their symptoms are gone, they’re off all meds, all signs of disease are gone, and they feel phenomenal NOW.
Do what works for you, based on what feels good.

The culling of the cattle is just this century’s version of the US government culling the buffalo in America to starve the American Indians into submission. Once the buffalo were gone, nobody could exist outside of the system. This is the SOS that these “elite” monsters who rule us do throughout the centuries. Remember when England blockaded the ports and seized the Irish’s cattle, hogs, butter, milk, and every other commodity they grew/raised and then called it the “Potato Famine?” Then they refused to allow American ships into the ports to save the starving Irish, and the Catholic Church established poor houses where the Irish serfs had to sign over their rights to farm their Lord’s land (that they’d been tied to for generations) to get into the poor houses, and then the poor houses starved/worked the peasants to death and buried them in mass graves? Well, this is the same sh1t under the guise of climate change.

@anthonychaffeemd 100% sure, it happens whenever i use tallow, I've tried using more multiple times with different brands of tallow, and it makes my hands very dry and flaky, it is really bizarre. I have history of dry hands during winter, so bad that cuts open and bleed everywhere, but it's summer now, currently a heat wave 30 degrees in uk, and I tried tallow last night, woke up and as the day has gone on, my hands have gotten more and more dry, maybe it has more to do with my environment? my home has water damage, and the building I work in, and my grandparents house, literally can't escape water damage buildings and homes in uk.

@@connorjoe6700 Check the list of ingredients. If there's anything else than tallow in it, it may be an allergic reaction to that additional ingredient for example oils. You may test out your reaction to real tallow by frying your meat on a pan and leaving the pan until it gets cold, then applying the tallow that remains on the pan to your hands several hours later.

Hi @Anthony Chaffee, The Inuits, and the Maasai people are often referenced in your videos about their good health, however, they have a severely low life expectancy, what would your rebuttal to this be? Thanks

    • @anthonychaffeemd
      @anthonychaffeemd  Год назад +5

That's life expectancy from birth, not how long they live if they die of old age. Big difference when you are talking about people who live in the wild without hospitals and clean water, and the infant mortality rate is sky high. If 3/5 people are dying in infancy, the others have to life a long time to make up for it. Plus, lions and polar bears... Plus plus, the Inuit start smoking on average at 8 years old, are genetically predisposed to heart disease, and yet they still have far lower rates of heart disease than other Canadians.

Hey Doctor Chaffee can you talk about why human beings have the range of tastes that we do? Sweet, sour, bitter and salty.
As a long time basically carnivore guy I wonder why when I am hiking in the forest and the wild fruit is ripe I am automatically drawn to eat them. Why do my taste buds react so positively to some sour herbs and on rare occasions the bitters are welcomed. Please talk about the medicinal uses of herbs in prehistoric carnivore peoples. What about parasites with meat eaters. I am 75 and have lived by listening to my body and what the needs might be. To survive I think we must be adaptable. I could elaborate to some greater extent but for now, can you address these things

I haz questions... Many people in India are vegetarians and seem to thrive OK, often living long lives. Yes, some of that is due to the massive size of the population, so there will always be some extreme outliers, but the point stands, they're not all obese and unhealthy, dying early etc. Can someone explain this to me (and yes, I am returning to the carnivore diet myself, I just want answers!)

I started having less sugar, and walking more, There's been a very tiny improvement. I wanna do carnivore diet. I have options of buffalo meat, eggs, curd. Is this enough?
I don't wanna eat chicken, cuz here they're filled with injections and medicines.
Right now I'm eating one carnivore meal, and one normal meal of whole wheat, and vegetables.
I'm also having curd with both meals.
    Is this enough?
    Should I go full carnivore?
Is buffaloe meat, eggs, curd, ghee enough?

@@DESIBrownBoy Make sure you drink raw milk, cheese, eggs, butter, and meat. Make yourself bone broth, and stay away from all grains. When you eat grains, they have protease inhibitors that will stop you from being able to get the nutrients out of the meat. You might also avoid uncooked egg whites, because they can also block absorption in sensitive people, but eat the yolks raw.

The buffalo alone should be enough so long as you eat not just the meat but also the fatty bits. If you eat enough buffalo, and it's associated fats, you will gradually reduce the osteopenia. You don't need eggs but can add them too if you want. I would not eat any sugar, processed food or the curd, ghee, wheat chicken or vegetables. Just eat the buffalo and add eggs if you want. Eat a sufficient quantity of the buffalo and it's fatty bits until you are full and do that whenever you are hungry. Simple! I would also do some weight bearing exercise (lift weights) and high intensity interval training (not long distance jogging just short burst interval training) for bone density. Walking is ok but higher impact (like high intensity interval training and weight baring will do more to increase your bone density). I eat a fully carnivore diet and eat only organic beef, organic lamb, organic eggs, bone broth (that I make myself by simmering beef bones in purified water) and very occasionally fresh, wild caught seafood such as fresh (not tinned) sardines and mackerel. I make gravy from the left over juices from cooking the beef or lamb and mix in some of the bone broth and simmer off the liquid until it turns into a tasty gravy to put over my meat and eggs. This adds extra fats and taste. I don't eat chicken or any poultry as I can't source any that I consider good enough to eat due to the way they are fed and processed (even organic chicken). Best of luck.

I have to wonder whether it may be too late to try and do regenerative farming. You’re talking about buying massive acreage, but Bill Gates has already bought up thousands and thousands of farmland acreage in the United States, and the mayor of New York City was recently speaking about carbon emissions, and how the the number one cause was meat and dairy!
The push back against eating meat, coupled with the push for a plant-based diet has gone, almost radical, and while we are taking out slowly and light heartedly, the vegan craze is on a rampage and making headway. I realize so is carnivore, but I just don’t know how. I feel that Big Ag and Corporate conglomerates are swinging for the fences!
