The stretching of the springs takes more energy than the contracting springs can supply, there is also friction from the bearings and if you add a generator to produce electricity it will slow down and stop even quicker with the extra friction and drag, adding more springs or a heavier flywheel just makes it worse. If you watch between 8:20 and 8:35 you will see what normally happens, it spins a few times and stops. "Free Energy" or "Perpetual Motion" was found to be impossible in the late 1790's.
Basic Physics, you can't get more energy out of a machine than you put into it.

@@freesoul9324, the flywheel will slow to a stop due to friction on the bearings and the heavier the flywheel the more friction, in actual fact, the flywheel will actually spin longer WITHOUT the springs which are introducing a resistance to the wheels motion.
Basic laws of Physics; Law of Conservation of Energy, "Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only change form".

Ernesto Rada, nice pick up but not quite right, they don't just cancel each other out, there is a loss of energy in each expansion of the springs, the contracting springs don't provide the energy needed to stretch the next one so you get a diminishing rate of return and as such the machine will stop. In fact, the flywheel will actually spin longer WITHOUT the springs which are introducing an extra resistance to the wheels motion.

Creo que si es posible en el minuto 8:46 están regulando los resortes, corrigiendo la tensión, y en el minuto 8:54 está lista y la empujan lentamente y gira lentamente sin detenerse, convencidos de que no se detendrá, la empujan con más fuerza.....
Quizás si continúan regulando un poquito más, llegarían al punto de que, con leve empujón, tome velocidad la rueda.

I like how they are welding the nuts to the bearing and it is smoking (burning the lubricant) not to mention that the heat will put the bearing out of round introducing even more friction within the bearing and they expect us to believe that this machine actually works, what a fucking joke.
