oh man.... i always wanted him!!!! there weren't many toys outside of transformers and gobots.. during that time that i wanted. but this one was special!
Daijin, aka, Betatron, was made by Yonezawa. He was released by Grandstand for Convertors in the UK, and Convert-A-Bots in the US. Same as Deltatron and Sigmatron. There is a blue one that I would desperately love to have. Yours looks like a general KO. There is some weird connection with Tia Fong though. The stickers are nearly identical to the Tia Fong Missile Truck Robot. It's weird. He's a really fun toy though. Especially if the motor works.
@@TM2DB Awesome knowledge, this is what I love about doing these videos. Sooner or later someone will tell me what the origin is! Do you mind if I add your comment to the video description?
@@MantisNineNines I have replied to this twice now, and my comment keeps getting deleted. Please use all you want. There is the Trans-3-Robot/Daijim page at the Liberator, and the Betatron page at Soundwave's Oblivion. I highly suggest you read both of those.
Wow, I remember getting one of these for a birthday, I think it came from one of the local drug stores and in my head cannon this robot was the big brother of Trailblazer. I think I powered it with batteries only a handful of times. I am pretty sure mine lost an arm trying to navigate the stairs at my Grandmother's house. It lived in the toy box at her house for all the kids to play with. So, there is no telling what happened to it.
😊👍 i always love to watch your videos!
@@sebastianthomsen2225 thank you!

@@TM2DB I love the Liberator! Great site. Thanks for permission, I will add the info to the video description.
Man our childhoods were the best no questions asked!
Hope your finger feels better soon!
@@T2rx6 Haha thx man. Didnt even think about until I was editing. Broke it fighting a bear (slipped closing the hatchback on my minivan 😭😭😭).
@@MantisNineNines UGH! I HATE when bears crawl on top of my van and slip onto the hatch while I'm back there.. I feel your pain brother!
that thing is super cool. I love the 80s stripes on it.
@@74Grimlin Me too! The whole look is killer.

@@JakalairVG Absolute Trailbreaker vibe! Not surprised it lost an arm, the rest is so sturdy and chunky but the arm hinges are thin and weak.
@@MantisNineNines Ah, Trailbreaker! I knew something was off with my memory, but couldn't figure out what. ty ty
I totally own this, love it!
@@ktc629 does yours still walk?
@@MantisNineNines Im actually not sure, I have never tested it.
