Brazilian crowd getting crazy because their hometown favorites are getting amazing plays is like British getting crazy all night because their representative team won in UEFA, or Filipinos going all ballistic after watching Pacquiao dominates a boxing match, but when their favorites lost, they became salty or just stopped cheering at all or just walks out, it's not that new, we've all seen this. But when it comes to the best of the craziest crowd [where they don't care if the teams playing are their hometown favorite or not, but just plainly as a fan of the game and seeing the best play] moment goes to almost every Dota's The International events, and in FGC. But in CSGO, most of them actually are in Europe.
6:18 damn seeing kscerato's dad after a stroke still there cheering for his son is such a wholesome moment, unfortunatly he passed away this year but thank god he managed to see a whole arena cheering for his son.
Watching Kscerato's father crying his eyes out at 6:19 it's heartbreaking knowing that he passed away this year. I met him during the RIO Major, and spoke with him and Kscerato's mother. They were happy and very greateful for what the crowd was doing the entire tournament. Rest in peace, old man. I am very happy that we made you feel this before you died Brasil, nós somos incríveis!
Honestly just imagine two amazing crowds cheering for their respective teams. The place would shake to the ground no matter who won or lost. True fans are the best part of competitions. The players are cool too, but I watch for the fans.

Porém isso não exclusividade da torcida da Vitality ou da torcida do Brasil. Eu já vi a Astralis no auge pegando "info" da torcida para matar adversário varado, por exemplo. Enfim, faz parte da lan, mas também faz parte do papel da organização do campeonato tentar mitigar isso.

Brazil fans were definitely the best. When a Brazilian team was still in the tournament. When there wasn't one, it looked like a wnba game. Empty seats all over the place.
Unfortuntely no, bro... We are Brazilians, man. We root for Brazilian teams, and nothing else matters. The Major was approached just like football, for instance, when the Brazilian national team gets eliminated in a phase of the World Cup, the Cup is over for us, and most Brazilians don't even watch the remaining games. And it was the same with this Major, we have no motivation to cheer for other teams because our motivation is ourselves winning. That's why almost all the songs sung by the crowd during the Major matches were adaptations of football fan chants. It doesn't make sense for us to root for a team that is not Brazilian or doesn't have Brazilian players.

If it was in Denmark and the astralis were playing, they'd be much louder cheering for them than anyone else. You don't have to be loud and cheer for other teams that aren't your favorite, but why empty the stadium unless your team is playing? Do you not want to watch a csgo tournament? There are going to be 10 series happening between teams, if your team loses and is out of the tournament would you just pack up and leave and not even bother with the other 9 games including the grand finals? What's the point of even going if you're showing up for 45 minutes then leaving while the tournament goes on for 10 more hours full of games. There were multiple Major tournaments for csgo in america where american teams got beat early so it was a bunch of european teams, everyone still stayed to watch. Why? Because they enjoy competitive csgo and want to enjoy the tournament. All I know is the Rio tournament made them look really really bad, and I would assume they are not going to return anytime soon.

If it was in Denmark and the astralis were playing, they'd be much louder cheering for them than anyone else. But I just don't get why you'd buy tickets, go to the stadium, and then only want to stick around for one team and if they're not playing just leave the stadium all together making the tournament look worse. You don't have to be loud and cheer for other teams that aren't your favorite, but why empty the stadium unless your team is playing? Do you not want to watch a csgo tournament? I'd be shocked if tournament organizers try to return to Brazil if that's how fans are going to act at a tournament.

@@zanesc01 That's not what I'm trying to say. A tournament happens, you buy tickets for let's say Sunday. There are going to be 10 series happening between teams, if your team loses and is out of the tournament would you just pack up and leave and not even bother with the other 9 games including the grand finals? What's the point of even going if you're showing up for 45 minutes then leaving while the tournament goes on for 10 more hours full of games. There were multiple Major tournaments for csgo in america where american teams got beat early so it was a bunch of european teams, everyone still stayed to watch. Why? Because they enjoy competitive csgo and want to enjoy the tournament. All I know is the Rio tournament made them look really really bad, and I would assume they are not going to return anytime soon.
