I remember this kit when I was young it would cost around $3.00 but try to buy it today $30.00 that kind of takes the fun out of building but I still love it I wish every where sold them not like today just a select few places
The thing people forget when they compare the price of things today to prices decades ago is that wages have also increased dramatically! 😉😉 Plus, this video reminds me just how much the quality of these kits have improved since I was a kid. But nostalgia is fun. 🙄
You do terrific work. You pay attention to the details. I would like to get one of these kits, and maybe do a kitbash, put like a bigger engine in it, do some other stuff to it, make it look big and rough. --Dave
I met my language arts teachers boyfriend and a 8th grade USA history teacher friend today and we are almost done with the trash book in language arts class
Bill, I don't know for sure but the Grrrumbler was issued in 79 by MPC and Daisy's Jeep in 1980. Both by MPC so I'm sure the body and motor are probably the same tooling! -Doug
