I also beat the game for the first time very recently, although I had already olayed other fromsoft games beforehand so I wasn't unfamiliar with the difficulty of the game. What I was pleasantly suprised by, however, is how beautifully simple the game is. With every subsequent game adding more mechanics, more complex stories (not to say this game's story isnt complex, but compared to bloodborne it's basically a fairy tale) and complex enemy patterns, getting to see how it all started was fascinating. There is also just, an atmosphere to this game in specific that's not matched by others in the series. You also didn't seem to have done the dlc. The way to get to the dlc is fairly cryptic so i suggest you look it up, but it has 2 of my favourite bosses in the game in it. And it also just adds more to the atmosphere of the game with more beautiful areas to explore. Although you will need to replay the game in ng+ since you already restarted your save by kindling the flame, so unfortunate rip.
