The CU wideeout room is elite. Top 3 in the nation. They don't even have Sheppard, and the killer rookies Dre'lon Miller and Mikel in the fold either. Travis is a 1000 year deep. Wester is a take-the-top-off burner and O Miller, the most phsically gifted of the group, is a 1000 yard receiver in the making. When you go 5 wide, there is NO defensive backfiled that can cover all of these guys - none. The line has to hold, and Pat has to make the right calls to utilize everyone. This year is going to be different.

They are definitely some defensive teams that can cover / play with CU. Just a few to name and point out the obvious. Ohio states defensive could definitely hold their own against CUs offense. Same with Oregon, both their DB / safety rooms crazy! Don’t be bias just because CU is your favorite team. Be realistic

Just wait til Will Sheppard, Cordale Russell, Drelon Miller & Kam Mikell start practicing with the team. BJ Green not even on campus yet & today’s commit LB Nikhai Hill-Green will be great & much needed additions to our defense. Our 2 new rb’s we picked up in the portal Dallan Hayden & Rashad Amos aren’t there yet. Only our 5th string rb & a wr/db in Hardge played running back in this spring game. And the weather was horrible. The team isn’t even complete yet just wait til fall.
I love the offseason. Fans just start naming their players like they are all unstoppable. We got….. and we got …….. and we got……… and we got……. And we got…….. were unstoppable. Nobody can tackle our running back and nobody can block our d line then proceed to start naming a bunch of names. Everyone is undefeated and unstoppable until the season starts and then they aren’t .

Overall good analysis! They looked markedly better when compared to last yrs Spring game….the size of players and speed were noticeably different. Now of course it was a Spring game so can’t put too much into that. But they do look much better…..I can see them doubling their win total from last year.

Take away day after black & Gold game with recruits signed, Coach Prime and staff get an A. Built depth in all positions, players with 2 or more years and a group bought in to, CU’s & Coach Prime/staff have built a monster in 2024💯

Most of these guys weren’t good enough to start at other programs. At the end of the day that hasn’t changed. Even playing lesser programs you are going against starting quality players. That’s why they weren’t good last year. Deion is trying to win with mostly guys that weren’t good enough to start at the programs they left.
The majority of the portal players were starters on their previous teams..

@@lrvracer3515majority of the transfers CU got this year were starters. They got PITT top two defense players in the D line. Hayes is a beast do some research on the players they lost and gained. They will be WAY better this year than last. They are building a quality team that will win a lot of games moving forward

I watched the CU Spring game twice and I just don’t see the MAJOR TURN AROUND. I agree that CU has elite offensive skill guys but their trench play is still sub par. For example, on 2-3 of Shadeur’s TD’s yesterday he was actually sacked. Obviously you can’t hit your own QB. The 5 Star kid #77 LT struggled against 2nd, 3rd team DE’s. I feel like #2 will be running for his life again this year. They have no depth. The drop off after the 1’s is really BAD. Honestly I give them no more than 5 wins.
Facts. Their not going to play consistent teams like they did in the pac 12 where each team can put up huge points in the pass game. Their going against some teams who's going to run you down. Don't overlook NDSU for game one. Physical team and one of the best game management programs who are not going to play to your style but play keep away on the ground game.

game 1 against NDSU is going to be a test. Yes, CU will spread their offense out but NDSU has phenomenal game management, and being physical. If NDSU tries to match points CU is going to blow them ot. If NDSU can run the ball and control minutes, its going to be a very interesting game.

For Colorado, I am a big Prime Time fan!! You love to see Prime Time as a coach!! I basically see a FSU team in Colorado. With the NIL, you can just plug guys in. Hey that’s where your wrong😂 Colorados defensive line is prob the most improved and best position we have rn in all seriousness. The Alabama transfer Anquin Barnes and Quincy Wiggins from LSU have been dominating all spring. Not to mention we picked up the best DT in the portal chidowze from Houston and the two edges from Pitt have been great. They showed out in that spring game yesterday too. They were the reason why the back up QB’s couldn’t even get a first down😂 they even gave sheduer trouble yesterday he missed like 5 passes bc of the pressure. Our online is really good but they added some nasty Dawgs on that defensive front. They’re going to be a force next year.
Ppl are sleeping. That d line is going to be special. They have really improved and are looking dominant all spring

@@Ross601MS duhh that’s why we fired both coordinators. And hired to 2 proven nfl guys. Robert Livingston coached 13 for the bengals as a secondary coach he molded Jesse bates he’s a great coach and pat shurmur. Coached plenty of winning teams including that Vikings team that went 13-3 with Kase Keenum and Stephon diggs. Everyone one in the program says they’re running pro plays.

Coach Prime is using different methods to keep the young fans excited about the Bucs Program. Yet haters are on here talking they’ll never win, because he feels the Bucs won't win…its ok, saw it and blocked it
I've never really payed attention to any spring game honestly. I hope they utilize the tight end more this season or Shadur will get sacked a lot again.
It’s easy to brag when you know the other team has a better offense and defense line so now the buffs have that all I can say watch now

@@fyecompany6493 talent level after the 1's. Their going to get guys, but if hunter or Sanders goes down you have a big drop off in talent in how CU wants to run their offense. If they all stay healthy they will be a top 20 team. You can't judge a players performance by what big name school they came from. I think they will be vastly improved.

I’m no deon fan but i am a realest. Most of us think that Deon will win 1 or maybe 2 games. It would be funny if they’re actually good. If they are good and competitive next season then the hype machine would be on full effect. Realistically I say their ceiling is 7-5. The BIG 12 is a weaker conference than the Pac 12. I say they lose to Nebraska, Kansas, Kansas state, Utah and Oklahoma state. But Who knows. 🤷♂️

It’s hard to build a successful program with a brand new team every single year. He’s gotta start recruiting high school kids if he wants to establish a culture and build a program. I get the feeling that he doesn’t give a shit about any of that. Just hype his kids up and get them drafted as high as possible then bolt. If he were trying to build a program then he would be recruiting high school talent instead of 1 year mercenaries. It’s hard to build chemistry with guys like that.

@@justicebinion8109nope you build a culture that keeps them around for 3-5 years. High school kids get 4-5 years of eligibility. Grad transfers like coach sanders is going after only have 1 year of eligibility. He has to try and re-establish a new culture every single year. It’s not sustainable. He’s got a brand new team every single year instead of raising pups to dogs and dogs to lead dogs. I would want guys in my program that are setting the culture and the brand that have been there for 3-4 seasons. They know what I want. They know the standards and expectations because they have been with me for 3-4 years.
