Honestly I am genuinely excited for these since the concept is genuinely really cool. However you are correct that there is so little cards in the archetype at this point that it can't really shine all that brightly yet. Hopefully we get the yugioh Equivalent to Vergil soon because that is probably gonna be insane.
This is a deck i am looking forward to like not just fiend link as a deck but i really like decks that are just one main deck monster that's it What's funny about all those cool tech pick section its actual best home is helping snake eyes as shown by that deck doing very well in the ocg
Just sharing my research/knowledge on some terms: Tractus= anthems that are said in replacement of the Alleluia during Lent (season of repentance) or in a Requiem Mass Sanctus= refers to the hymn of the Trisagion or thrice Holy (Holy Holy Holy Lord God of Hosts) that is said/sung before the consecration
I don't think he realized that the fiendsmith (the monster) is full combo for any fire deck. Beatrice + the link 2, send your starter, make princess, combo.

I just saw a Fiendsmith deck with the Live Twins in and…wow…fiend link is certainly something, it allows Live Twins incredibly recursive Pop Draw combo and plethora of 1 card starters (like how either one of the twins is a starter, the continuous spell searches the twins, and the regular spell searches the continuous) and allows it to end on the Unchained link 2 and a Wave High King Ceasar as well as the Trouble Sunny the deck is typically known for
We need more cards for this and get fiendsmith apprentice -which once per turn you can special summon one fiendsmith monster from your hand or graveyard thats level 6. And a card i call link 2 Fiendsmith Saul Chainsaw (ATK1600) - which allows a fiendsmith that it points at be immune to card effects and also boost their attacks by 600 attack
"THIS PARTY'S GETTING CRAZY! LET'S ROCK!" as soon as I heard about these cards, especially Fiendsmith Tractus, I definitely splashed this to Dark Worlds. Yep so far so good, works buttery so far. I don't have access to Fabled Lurrie (it's hella expensive in my region right now) so I replaced it with Amanokujaki, lv3 Light Fiend, both target for Tractus and Tour Guide. I'm fine tuning my deck and been enjoying for quite some time. I hope this theme gets support sooner or later, and will be glad if it somehow resembles Devil May Cry.
Ah what nova you forgot that lightsworns now have a Weiss the lightsworn archfiend, that's a crazy tech pick for them until they get more main support lol
I love artwork connection with Fear and especially Despair from the Dark. It is my favorite old school boss monster in terms of design and lore with other cards. Would love even more support for those cards.
so something neat I've seen, is you can mix fiendsmith with live/evil twin, it's not as good as mixing live/evil twin with spright, but it's certainly a fun combo
"You are not worthy as my opponent". Seriously though since it looks like Fiendsmith likes to use guns, apart from his Devil trigger form, it would be interesting if his Vergil counterpart favored swords.

@@dajohnniesanders6997 I knew what card you were talking about but not the card you were referring to when you said "it supposed to be", but now that you mentioned despair from the dark I know for sure that you are referring to the link 2 since I thought of it my first time seeing the link 2. I was not aware of the speculation about it possibly being anubis, but I get it now
Wow missing a point made by Yugioh cards for a long time. (light fiends and dark fairies/angels are a whole thing at this point) Also light attribute also represents lightning among other things since pretty much the very start. (at least DK)

..... I'm not sure how to feel about this archetype. It's probably to early, and to few cards to draw a definitive conclusion. At least for me.

Usually I use Holy water measurements that correlate to Bible verses, the more thematically fitting for the Spirit in question the better~
