Two things - the penalty system in F1 games is so bad now that I refuse to buy them. Getting penalties for other drivers hitting you is absurd.
Secondly, why do people buy a racing sim then act like this? Ridiculous.
Well, this isn't really a sim tobe honest. If you want to go with a real sim that buy rFactor 2, Asseto Corsa or even Project Cars.
BTW, didn't mention iRacing because it is payed monthly which isn't worth it unless you are racing competitively.

There is a big reason I only play career mode.
Us: F1 2018 cleary can't have more dirty drivers, that's impossible.

I am not the best, but a clean driver. I never intentionally touch or crash someone. Still i am 3% away from having a D safety-rating. This video shows why...i hate this game most of the time...
@Olly A yeah exactly, they ran into your car maybe with some damage as well and still it is somehow possible to be penalized! It's a joke!

I'm not buying this. They made the rulings even more ridiculous. Being warned for collisions when you're not at fault. Being handed penalties and warnings for corner cutting when you were pushed.
Did they even fix the broken report/ban system? Are violators still able to play again and again?
Then why don't you just stop playing online? Playing 110% AI is also fun

No Zaedin, it's really not. In iRacing there are consequences if you drive dirty since there's the possibility of having people take a look at the replay after the race. There's less lag and there are very few crap rulings.
i think they need an overwatch system, like in CSGO

Someone smashes into me at full force
Front tyres are gone
Forced to retire
3 second time penalty for me
Illegal overtake on 919381819 cars
Have to watch the rest of the race in pain and agony
The safety rating system in the game is somewhat broken too, i’ve gone from 30% A rating to 8% B after being spun out and crashed off track by D rated drivers.

They should remove collision in F1 2019.
By now i have a D safety racing and the funny thing about it is that i havent had a penalty, corner cut or collission in the last 4 races and it keeps getting worse. I'm down to 45% and the other drivers keep getting more dirty while I'm just trying to stay clean even if I finish last... Worst System I've ever seen

F1 2017 is still hell I got shunted at the start it wasn’t till lap 2 the driver who hit me got disqualified

I'd just like to say, that after spending a couple days in the ranked system on xbox (using a pad too), I've not gone below a B safety rating yet and I'm a clean racer (sometimes you get a little nudge, but I'm not the type to slam you off). PS4 has a bunch of kids who can't race for crap, Xbox does too but from what I've seen it looks like xbox has better racers. Even those that have a D rating have raced cleanly enough.
Yeah xbox is alot cleaner than the lobbies in this vid, but the servers are so crap it's no use having clean racers

I have the game on PS4 and yeah, every lobby I've been in has at least one or two terrible drivers

Safety rating in F1 2018 is garbage, last time I totally raged, when I was leading a race and some kid waited for me lap down and took me out and I even got a penalty for it + penalty points. In few days I fell from rank A to C and mostly it wasn't my fault

That moment when you are watching F1 2018 videos but you are still stuck on F1 2017
It's been rough to build a safety rating on here. Others dont slow down, just like 2017, but instead here those of us who try and drive fast and clean and get roped up in the shenanigans of the inexperienced drivers get the penalties. Like, WTF CodeMasters, you clearly couldn't master the code to fix the online experience.
