Stanzlocked is when you love the turtle so much that you sell better units to make room on your squad when you should be pilling the turtle. When it's past round 9 or so, just pill it. It's a 3/4 with meat on it. No need to sell a giraffe or rabbit for it. The turtles great, Lud, and we understand he reminds you of your pet, speedy, you had as a kid. But the nostalgia isn't worth the 8 trophy runs. Snap out of it. Wake up. Turtles are meant to be killed.

Actually we see here that Ludwig made a mistake at 0:58 naming himself the Boring Chunks, when Chunky Chunks is the clearly superior option. How can he ever get true 100% with plays like these?

@@dosirb5292 Fly parrot does work, after some patches the fly triggers get saved when there's no room so they don't get "wasted" like they used to It's not perfectly ideal with the shark on an otherwise non-summoner build since you'd still need the first fly in 3rd position and the parrot in 4th, but it definitely functions.
I just did the math, I thought the same thing (about fly behind penguin, i think fly parrot kinda sucks). Even with the 3rd fly, his shark only gets to 25 hp, kills the badger with the melon, and dies to the 26 damage from the badger ability. So unlucky but yeah it would have been better to put fly behind penguin.
Ludwig one of the reasons you're hindering your own runs is because you keep on holding on to weak turtles. Unless you plan on placing microbe, you would benefit more in pilling the turtle because that's what you want in it anyway and you are freeing a space. By forcing a turtle you are kind of like having a 4 squad.
What if a mosquito or a bay hit the melon armor? There’s reasons behind keeping a turtle. I do agree what you said could be more efficient but if you have a level 2 or 3 turtle but some meat on that bad boy and keep them. That is actually more efficient

This entire vod is an essay on why pilling turtle is so important. Multiple times selling units you needed to keep the turtle, because you were short of team slots, and also unable to find a pill once there was a lot of food. Also rabbit D tier.
I no joke get slighty frustrated seeing him make so many misplays that cost him his 10 win, like putting penguin behind fly, keeping turtle WAAAY too long, Selling a 13/14 fish that has Bison scaling and garlic armor. And much more, snap out of it lud pay attention and get that win!
id like to play a version of SAP where your pets stay dead if they die during battle and you constantly have to rebuild. Maybe balance it out with more coins or something.

This sounds like an entirely different game, but I like the idea! Like a nuzlocke/fire emblem auto game where you have to strategize and keep your units alive. Perhaps sacrifice some units in order to grow 1 or 2 in the back. Could be interesting!
The last turn of the first run hurt my soul when he rolled into a rooster with two gold left, and instead of selling penguin to buy it he froze and kept rolling. He had a single level 2 pet, so he chose a 1/2 that gives 1/1 in stats over buying a 10/7 rooster that spawns a 8/4 (because of the turkey buff). Obviously the run was pretty doomed since he was only at 4 wins, but that choice really stuck with me haha

It's almost as if ludwig is just rushing the game from the beggining making a ton of misplays trying to complete the challenge as quickly as possible but its so frustrating to see him mess up the order so many times
3:33 perfect chance to pill the sheep in front of the ox. You get your pill money back from selling the ram, plus you get the ox buff. Or if you sell another unit to get 2 rams (which you did later), you straight up get a free ox buff in addition to the one money for selling the sheep/ram.

Having the rat in front of the camel actually seems like the only way the rat and camel become viable in later rounds. Cause once the rat dies and becomes a 1/1 on the other team, it's a free activation of the camel's ability. Otherwise the rat is useless. Camel, too, in later rounds
Lud, you need to stop making the fish buff the first thing you do! You waste half of the ability when you sell half your units to buy new ones after the fish buff, or combine the fish when you still have empty slots. Try to do the fish at the end!
