We asked our Mexican moms to taste test and rank pies that people love to eat during Thanksgiving! We had them try and taste all sorts of famous pies like Apple pie, pumpkin pie, blueberry pie, lemon meringue pie, chocolate cream pie, cherry pie, and coconut cream pie from! What thanksgiving food is your favorite? Remember to give thanks to those you love and consider making a donation or helping those in need in your community this holiday season. ❤️

Apple pie has to be warmed up with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! I can eat it plain and cold, but it's only half as good. The pumpkin pie needsd whipped cream, even if its the canned kind! My Mom made lemon meringue pies from the Meyer lemons from the tree in our backyard. They were soooo good! Much better than with store bought lemons.

If you want a twist on apple pie for Thanksgiving, do what the French-Canadians do. Slice up some aged cheddar and melt it on top of the apple pie (not too much cheese though). It is salty and sweet and works very well, complimenting each other.
Thanksgiving in Canada is also celebrated at a different date, in case you were unaware.
To hear how everyone is thankful for their family and everyone's health is the best part of this video. True mother/grandmother wisdom. ☺️

All the pies looked sooooo good! My mouth was starting to get watery and the ladies were wonderful and so beautiful BUT what got me the MOST was how GRATEFUL they were for their family and friends and thanking god for being around another day! I thank god everyday for my family, my friends, my doggies, my home and everything and everyone in between so I’m happy these women said the same thing goes to show that they have beautiful hearts and I just love that!!!

Unpopular opinion… sweet potato pie and pumpkin pie are basically the same, one is creamer and one has a grainy texture but it’s basically the same.
