Awww Ryno! Its fine that you are giving your honest opinion. I would venture to say a vast majority of your audience also thinks that what you share is important and gives us clarification when deciding where to spend money on Disney property. Love this vlogging trio and keep up the candid reviews!
Ryno, don’t ever feel guilty or bad about voicing YOUR opinion. We all have them and they should all be heard. I’ve been to homecomin’ once and I enjoyed it.. but I also got the Mac and cheese and fried chicken! But it’s a breath of fresh air to see a review of totally different items that we don’t ever see on review channels!
Ryno, this is your best review ever. Flip the sandwich over so it doesn’t get soggy? Brilliant! The place to go for apps & drinks? Spot on. For me living in the south I get fried chicken, biscuits & fried green tomatoes better here for 1\3 the price. Great review.
Homecomin' is a must do for me. Thigh-high chicken biscuits, fried chicken sandwich, chopped pork barbecue, adult sippy cups, hush puppy benedict, and hummingbird cake are my favorites. I made a hummingbird cake (thanks Deni!) for a work function once, and now everyone asks when I'm making another.
Favorite brunch spot, sneak in early when it first opens at the bar. Bartenders are pesonable, and the brunch items are beyond fantastic. Did I say the brunch menu is 🔥 .
Love you and your reviews! Ryno, we tend to enjoy the same things so I appreciate the honesty! Made me change a reservation I was on the fence on for an upcoming trip.
Fun fact my best friend Jessica is a server at Homecomin and her family farm provides the grits for the restaurant! Bradley Country Store in Tallahassee.
I appreciate all honest reviews. I was on the fence about trying this place, and I’m really glad I did. Our little family, really enjoyed our evening there. My husband has lactose issue, and they were very accommodating, chef came to the table, made adjustments on things, my husband loved his meal. And I think to have a nice sit down meal in Disney springs for under $50 a person, was a big win. And we would have been under that but we got two of those squeezebottle drinks, and they may be clouding my judgment, but they were so good.
Thanks for trying some more unique menu items here! Ryno, I’m with you-this place did not amaze me when we visited, I know people love it, but I was not wowed.
We’ve eaten at Homecomin’ 4 and have enjoyed each visit. Is it the best Southern food I’ve ever had? No. But we think it’s very, very good. The servers are absolutely wonderful!
I’ve eaten here three times. First two experiences were great. The last one, left both myself and mother feeling sick and heavy, and we didn’t even make to dessert. I feel like this is an appetizer and drinks place and move on. Thank you for the great review!
The food choices that the team chose today were lackluster. There are so much more incredible dishes at Homecomin’. These choices don’t highlight their awesomeness.
It’s literally like they chose the brokest options like they have to do it bc it’s their jobs, not because it’s fun to go out and dine. You either know how to eat out or you don’t. I like these vloggers but unfortunately these 3 are not cut out for this gig. Someone should tell them what to order before they go. I’m putting on the Pete Werner bat signal, hopefully he responds.
We aren’t reviewing it to highlight its awesomeness? We’re making choices to review it based on what we want to eat. Why is the restaurant putting on mediocre menu items if they have guaranteed awesomeness? And if the whole world has been and knows that stuff like the fried chicken, mac and cheese and deviled eggs are good then what’s the point of another review saying it’s good? What about the rest?
Tawanda! I always have to order the fried green tomatoes, too! Great review! I'm always curious about this restaurant. I've really been enjoying the recent series you three have been doing. We have food allergies in our family, so I like seeing what options places have for people with food restrictions.
I went here once on my first night at Disney a couple years ago and got the thigh high chicken biscuits as an entree and loved them. My experience was so good that i went back two days later for brunch. Great food and drinks at the bar.
My (21 year-old) girls and I LOVE Homecomin'! The fried chicken (even though I only eat the breast & wing) and the Strawberry Lemonade Moon shine are awesome!
Given that it’s Florida in the summer, thank you for doing some lighter fare options. Having fried chicken or mashed potatoes and then walking out into the Florida humidity isn’t my idea of fun. Appreciate hearing recommendations for other non staple items and the honesty. It’s not always rainbows and roses and we appreciate your real thoughts.
Hey guys. I agree with Rhino. We dined at Homecoming in April on our last trip. It's not good or bad. I actually had the chicken salad sandwich with the house chips. It was just okay. My daughter had their fried chicken with mac and cheese and it was just so buttery and cheesy and fattening. I don't hate this restaurant but I don't love it. And a scale of 1 to 5 I give it a two-and-a-half, right in the middle.
Hey Ryno. Don't feel bad about feeling how you feel. I have been to Homecomin 3 times, and the first 2 times I loved it. The last time was very much mehhh and even leaning toward I don't really have to come back for a while. And I even had the chicken and the mac n cheese, which is the go-to. It was just okay that last time, which was 2 years ago. So it's not just you.
Another commenter here, agreeing 💯% with Ryno. Homecoming is awful. I don’t get the hype at all. I couldn’t even eat it… and yes, I ordered the fried chicken and macaroni and cheese. Never again.
I'm with you Ryno. As someone who lives in the South, I wasn't impressed either. It's an expensive, commercialized take on southern food that doesn't compare to my local diner. If you're from somewhere where you can't get fried, southern food-I could see the appeal. However, you're missing out on the real thing and paying way too much.
Yay! It’s Ryno, Craig, and Erica! 🎉🥳 Thank you for an updated restaurant review of Art Smith’s Homecomin’. I have eaten there years ago and I agree with Ryno, the food is about a 7 out of 10 or a “medium”!😜 However, we met the Head Chef/Manager, and he was awesome, thus giving the overall experience a “10 out of 10!” 🥰
@ryanclavin I would love you to share the 3 restaurants that you WOULD take your mom to if she was coming to town. 😊 Maybe one at a resort hotel, one at a theme park and one at Disney Springs? Could be a show idea
Thanks for the review guys. We enjoy the food at Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' and my husband asks to there whenever we go to Disney World. I do think its a bit noisy and I always feel rushed.
Question- couldn’t Erica get the chicken salad sandwich? There’s no dairy in mayo (aside from eggs but I’m assuming her dairy allergy is a lactose allergy?) It did look good and would be a good option for her!
Great review as always guys! We’re in the minority with you Ryno! We’ve tried dinner and brunch and were not impressed with either. But I know most people love it. Just not for us 😊.
⭐️ Be aware that they will add an 18% tip to your check even for a party of one or two guests and may not even mention it when they come and grab your credit card to scan it at the table. Not all of the servers are up front about that practice so ask to see the check before you pay and add another 20% on top since it seems to depend on the server and their honesty.
Thanks for always giving us your honest opinion on all the dining reviews! Can you please go back to Art Smith's Homecomin' and do a review of their brunch? Thanks!!! 😃
I love Chef Arts so much, so I guess I need to know which restaurant on Disney property Ryno would consider PRIMO and eat at every week! Not a Signature dining spot-just a great table service restaurant...
Thank you so much for having Erica on these dining reviews! My 3 year old has a dairy allergy (not lactose) and it’s still hard to find things she’ll be able to eat when we eat out. I would love to hear some kid-friendly options for kids with food allergies!!
Thanks for this review! We were finally going to try Homecomin this year after going to Boathouse last 3 trips since 2019....but after this review that was kinda meeehhhhhh....I don't know what to do!! Anyone have an opinion if it's worth giving Homcomin' a shot or stick with the Boathouse? Or a better restaurant to try in Disney Springs?
I think you should still try homecomin’. I would maybe try the things they’re known for like the thigh high chicken biscuits, deviled eggs, fried chicken or pulled pork. My top 3 at Disney springs are boathouse, wine bar George and homecomin’
I’ve never been to Homecoming. I love the reviews that you have been Doing. I live in the south. Fried Chicken is not what I order. Keep being honest with your reviews Ryno!!
Loved seeing the different options this restaurant offers - the less popular options. Gives a good overview of a variety of options :) I do find it strange that none of you ordered the fried chicken! Considering this restaurant is literally known for its fried chicken, it would've been nice to see the fried chicken, at least as a starter if not the main course!
I can speak for myself - I've had the fried chicken every single time I've eaten there on my own which is a lot and everyone knows its good so I wanted to avoid it so I wasn't just getting the same thing a million people have talked about before.
@@DISUnlimited I understand and appreciate it. I actually enjoyed seeing some of the other dishes on offer there. But when you’re doing a review of a place that is popular for its fried chicken, it’s strange that none of you got the fried chicken! Like I said, even as a little starter 🤷🏻♀️ would’ve made the whole video a more balanced review imo. Because most people watching would want to know what the chicken is like, regardless of your personal preference.
Homecomin is a must do for us, of course we never stray from the fried chicken and I agree with Craig that the perfect meal there is the deviled eggs and fried chicken. I never have room for dessert.
I don’t think these comments are saying you shouldn’t order other stuff on the menu. Of course you should. But the main gist of it is, why not order one thing that they’re known for and mix in a couple of new bits? There’s probably a reason these things aren’t ordered much. Because they’re not good? Perhaps going there when there’s lots you can eat and drink would be better. Homecoming for me is all about the apps and drinks rather than the mains.

What’s the point of the restaurant having more on the menu if the only hits are what you wrote out? The chicken salad sandwich was a bold choice and it clearly didn’t pay off but if the restaurant requires you to order certain items for a positive experience then the restaurant is doing some things wrong.
No one ordered fried chicken!?!? What is the point of going to Homecoming? lol. The food choices of the group were deff lackluster and didn’t do the restaurant justice. Sorry 🤷🏽♂️

I've finally figured it out. Ryno is inherently disordered and unnatural not because he's gay (like I am), but because he doesn't like Homecomin'. My usual order there is Deviled Eggs, Thigh High Biscuit Sliders, side of Macaroni and Cheese, and the Hummingbird Cake.
Awww Ryno! Its fine that you are giving your honest opinion. I would venture to say a vast majority of your audience also thinks that what you share is important and gives us clarification when deciding where to spend money on Disney property. Love this vlogging trio and keep up the candid reviews!
This review was useless! Is there anything you like?
The three of you are my favorite reviewers. You always tell it like it is without being pretentious. I really enjoy hearing your opinions.
I agree. Something special about these 3 together. Loving the content on the dining channel lately! 😊

I agree with Ryno. The food is way too heavy for the Florida heat and nothing wows!
Homecomin' is probably the one restaurant at Disney springs that I would go out of my way to visit. The fried chicken is fantastic.
I agree with Ryno 100%. 😊
Favorite brunch spot, sneak in early when it first opens at the bar. Bartenders are pesonable, and the brunch items are beyond fantastic. Did I say the brunch menu is 🔥 .
Totally agree Ryno. Compared to some of the other options in Disney Springs, this is southern slop.
Exactly
Love you and your reviews! Ryno, we tend to enjoy the same things so I appreciate the honesty! Made me change a reservation I was on the fence on for an upcoming trip.
Ryno your the best speak your mind !
Got to say I completely agree with Ryno. First time we went I loved it. Second time not so fussed. I think it’s over hyped.
Fun fact my best friend Jessica is a server at Homecomin and her family farm provides the grits for the restaurant! Bradley Country Store in Tallahassee.
Agree Craig ,Deviled eggs Fried Chicken and Humming bird cake. Only negative $$$$$
Who doesn’t order the thigh high chicken biscuits? This is my favorite Disney springs restaurant

I love that guy who says Homecoming wasn't for him! 😂

I really like the honesty. Thanks!
Homecomin is low
Key amazing. The meaning behind it is so wholesome. Great review!
Ate there in Fall 2018 and early 2020. Loved it both time. can't wait to get back( didn't make it there when we went down in 2022)
The food choices that the team chose today were lackluster. There are so much more incredible dishes at Homecomin’. These choices don’t highlight their awesomeness.

I agree! Why didn’t they order the popular entrees. They missed the good stuff.
Their videos have been so mid recently… it’s kind of disappointing

Ryno what place do like to eat?
Best restaurant on Disney property along with boathouse. That Mac and cheese and thigh high chicken biscuits!❤
We had the best brunch here on our last trip! This is one of our favorites. A must do every trip!
I went here once on my first night at Disney a couple years ago and got the thigh high chicken biscuits as an entree and loved them. My experience was so good that i went back two days later for brunch. Great food and drinks at the bar.
Rhino, love your videos. I am 76 years fun, and my goddaughrer drank too much shine and fell onto the lagoon in 2021
Somehow you managed to order nothing I would ever eat, minus the carrot cake.
My (21 year-old) girls and I LOVE Homecomin'! The fried chicken (even though I only eat the breast & wing) and the Strawberry Lemonade Moon shine are awesome!

I'm thinking it's a culinary crime to go to Homecomin' and order a *chicken salad sandwich*. This ain't Panera! Cringe.
I’m with you Ryno. It’s meh. Not a must do but I don’t hate it.

ABSOLUTELY A MUST-DO. I have not had anything that I didn't like.
My favorite restaurant an DS. The peach sangria is amazing. Shrimp and grits my favorite meal on property. No bacon though.

Ryno, it’s not my favorite either, but wouldn’t say no to going😊 It’s my husband’s favorite ❤️ I am a Boathouse gal myself 🎉
Great review! Yummy yummy!

$19 for a chicken salad sandwich.... servers must love this place getting 18% tip off super inflated high prices

You should do a bit on "Orlando Magical Dining" They haven't released the restraint list yet, but the special menu supports Children's Causes.

$14 for a piece of carrot cake. Ridiculous

Three things are certain in life: Death, taxes, and Craig/Ryno wearing insanely busy button-up tops.
