Tekken 4 Steve was just about poke into side step (very boring) Tekken 5 Steve was horribly unbalanced n broken. don't know much about tag 2 Tekken 7 Steve is a Mid high tier Character (According to knee who didn't placed him in his top 15 picks) Tekken 6 Steve is the best version because there's is execution behind every of his rewards.. 1)Punch parry combo seems broken but it's kinda hard to time 2)same with Flk 1d1 3)bound after df2 is not that hard but takes a bit of skill 4)He's extremely strong if played correctly and yes very safe.
I really enjoyed using Steve in Tekken 6! His customization was incredible as well, especially with all the gangster clothing! Good ol' days of the Wildman bound combo eh? I will admit he was safe, but a lot of his safe moves still had vulnerabilities, mainly their weakness against ducking as they could be WS punished. Playing him safely is also something that the player must do voluntarily as well, so he does remain farily easy to punish overall in my opinion. He's as safe as he is vulnerable in Tekken 7, as the weaknesses still carry over to it.
I agree this version of steve is a master piece miss him soo much soo much damn fun! Why because anyone could have their own uniq style with him specially as a solo character which is not the case in T7 i remember the days of tekken crash nin, rain and other korean like lowhigh... manuver him like beyond anything you could ever imagine the closest person who remind me of the way they used him in T7 is shiro from japan from his performance at master cup but heera malik might feat this categorie as well since he is the best steve player in my opinion or knee? Idk Would want to see an exibition death match between the 2.
They said that steve wasn't that good on vanilla tekken 6, in tekken 6 BR they buffed his f,f2 so good that he broke the game lols. They just adjusted the hitbox so they can bounce, example that the flicker 1,d1 to f,f2. I'm not sure but on tag 2 they nerfed it, but he's still good.
Yeah. I’d like to play in Tekken 6 if that would be in steam online. There is we’re a lot of good characters and everyone had own play style. Game was balanced. About time talent and gaining wins. PS you forgot wall combo with w! d2~1,2 b! 3, 1, 1 df1+2
Did steve players know about b! f+2,1 into DCK 1+2 mash wall ender during t6 era? or is it something that was found later in the series? or people actually knew about it but it actually was less useful? I rmb when I was playing t6 back then, people mostly likely did d+2_1,2 b! LWV 1,1 df+1+2... i never really found any DCK 1+2 ender during ttt2 era as well (even in tag wall combos, where moves that ignore wall hit count limit was very useful, d+2_1 df+1+2 was most useful wall ender i believe). When I first saw people using this ender in t7, I found it really cool cause i haven't seen them before. but now I see them everywhere in t6 or ttt2 when I see videos revisiting combos in old series. Curiosity apart, very cool video!
Ok people here are all wrong actually, you can't transition into Albatross (spinning stance) directly after flicker, you must do a flicker jab (Flk 1) hold back to keep yourself in flicker, then you can press 3+4 to do alb spin.
I liked this version of Steve more, he was more fixated on counter hits and poking, nowadays they keep on nerfing his counter hits and improved his launchers which is bad for the character in my opinion.
@@mwkan772 sorry man i really dont know😅. Been playing tekken n yoshi since tekken 3. Been obsessed with the game but i only truly understood the game 2 years ago😅

Yeah tekken 5 Steve was something else lmaoo
hehe yes
Steve season 1-3 was in the top 5
yes... it's difficult to choose between tekken 7 s2 Steve and t6 Steve.. I prefer tekken 6 just because of the punch parry launch 😂😂👊🏼
Bro what graphics card do you use?
Tekken 5 Steve : Allow me to introduce myself.
This isn t about being strong, its about being balanced
Tekken 4 Steve: Sorry cant let you play anymore

yes.. thanks alot for the support bro ❤️

i wish the punch parry juggle will be back it would be really helpful for a character that all his juggling combos come from counter hits
you can combo from punch parry with d 2,1,2 if they dont roll

Are you thinking about doing one of these with Lee Chaolan? I've had a lot of fun playing as him in Tekken 6
Ya, Bound-Steve was a monster.
And I have been playing Tekken 6 that I can't even land a 15+ combo

Gatling gun

Tekken 6 was in many ways a better game than Tekken 7 but mainly because of the presentation
Nice video, btw where would you put Steve in the tierlist for T7 now?
I'm confident in saying Steve isn't top 10, that's all I can definitively argue.
intermediate = top 25
Pro level = top 15
Also this was when the music was best
tekken 6 best soundtrack
Tekken 4 Steve has an 8f jab. He's the best character in T6:BR, sure, but he's also had better outings than that, I'm pretty sure.

I think it did the same damage but the lwv 1,1 is easier to do. T7 is different now because of the damage buff to Gatling gun
How do you do flk b1 into spinning cyclone cause i dont understand a thing
mention timing please
@@mwkan772 wdym

How do you connect machinegun punches (if that's what they are told I can't remember) after f21 on wall?
f2 1 b(into flk) then punches
But in t6 steve df2 combo cannot cancel into duck that’s the problem
Wasn't such a big issue here though as you could still get decent damage from it.
