Im not sure if you'll see this yandere dev, but if a student snaps a picture of you and starts running, if you kill them shouldn't there phone fall out of there hands? Making it so you also have to destroy that before a student or other character finds the phone, making it so you have to get rid of the body and phone, but also making it so the phone can slide away, potentially sliding into a populated area or to close to another student, leaving one behind could cause some issues, if a student finds the phone and turns it in, having the principle look through it to find out who's phone it is and they find the image of you commiting muder result in a game over. And so on and so forth, might be a good idea for the phone addicts and photography club if they spot you.
Chiko This is amazing but don't you feel like it will cause Yanderedev to take most of his time? I mean, he has to wait for assets to make the animation where a student's phone slides out of their hands when they get killed, a student finding the phone, a student turning in the found phone, ans the other animations I forgot to mention. He also has ro ask for voice actors/actressess to record dialogs for a student finding the phone, giving it and dialogs for a teacher/Student Council Member/ Counselor receiving the phone and checking it, the accusation just in case Yandere chan wants to defend her case, etc. There are seriously a lot more flaws he needs to polish and fix before he can take notice of your idea. The idea itself is brilliant but it's very time consuming. The exact reason Osana isn't implemented yet and not a lot of the viewer/gamer requests were forfilled
GotLove ForGot7 doesn't have to have an amazing animation, could just be a cut seen of them picking up the phone as the screen goes to black, rest could simply be implied and no dialog even has to be spoken.
Hey, guess what? They added it so that if a person takes a picture of you and starts running and you murder them, their phone drops to the ground and you can step on it to destroy it. So yeah, I guess they added that in :)

Well the red hair girl has Beruma for her name and it basicly is how Japanese would screw Welma up, so it is pretty easy to say it's her a n d the green hair guy has Rojasu or something like this for his name 'cuz Shaggy's r e a l last name is Rogers and it's how it'd sound. It's really clever of Yandere Dev to make it all sound more japanese and even use the real name instead of simple Shaggy.
Would it be possible to frame a student and have the photography club stalk them instead? Say, if a student is seen in bloody clothes on the same day a corpse is discovered, they'll connect the dots and stalk them, making it easier to go around without being noticed until a visible murder/ corpse comes up while the suspect was being stalked. This would return the club to their 'interrogate everyone' routine (unless they saw you and you didn't get caught), as that person could not have murdered another student at that time. Just an idea.
I think maybe a feature should be implemented where you can like take an incriminating photo of another student and turn it in to the photography club so that they follow that student instead of checking on everyone else
I really like the idea of a student having a crush on Yandere-chan. It would make the students feel like they had more personality. Maybe certain students would like certain clubs and would become attracted to Yandere-chan if she joined a specific club and had a high enough reputation. That could be a possible downfall of a club that seems to have too many upsides; you would get an "admirer" that would follow you around.
CatsOnBrooms I think it’s be cool if it was taken a step further. What if you could attempt to seduce and manipulate certain people to get dirt on your enemies or spread bad rumors? And if you try that on a ‘strong willed’ or ‘good’ person, they damage your reputation. It’d add another element of emotional manipulation to our options.
"They'll always track you down" Mmmm, that feels a little unfair, especially if you plan on implementing other stalker characters. What'd be better is if they don't see the player, they'd to go up to nearby students and ask where the player is. Or, if no students are around, they'd hang around the area looking for you. That would still make escaping stalkers challenging while still giving the player a chance to, well, escape, at least temporarily.
In school, I actually am part of the photography club and a few of the members texted me about this video and now we are all making little jokes because we actually dont really do photography stuff, we just have fun and goof around like you said XD

I like the stalker personality and I now its there to make the game difficult, but I think it needs a rework. Only 2(if available) members should be behind you when they find you. When found, the other members (if available) should "accidently" bump into you from different angles. You should be able to lose track of them, however they go into a searching mode, where they split and search for you. Just my idea, and I know this game taking a lot of effort. Your implementation with the stalker persona is cool too. Keep it up.

I just noticed this. Isn't yandere chan the only one without nervous animations with low atmosphere? Shouldn't that be suspicous? Also, Yandere Chan is supposed to have no feelings and fake emotions, so wouldn't it be normal for her to adapt? Or is her senpai stopping her from doing that?
I was literally thinking about this before. Ayano is shown to put on fake emotions to fit in, so in certain situations, like a murder suicide, pressing Control would cause Ayano to react the same as the other students, and look shocked and terrified. She would also be able to unlock a new persona in low atmosphere: The nervous persona. When used, she would use the same idle animations as other students when the atmosphere is low,

As soon as I saw the club members of the photography club it instantly reminded me of Scooby Doo. Shaggy and Scooby aren’t as obvious but Fred, Daphne and Velma? Doesn’t take a genius to notice the similarities.
I know this will probably get lost in the sea of comments but I'd love a weather implement in the game, like there is a chance it could rain on a day and evidence gets washed away, snow covering tracks or people 'freezing' to death or like if its sunny people might think they died of heatstroke rather than being murdered. it could just be another random element to the game that helps you (or doesn't) purely from chance?
Students in Japan aren't exactly dropping like flies from heatstroke, and I'm pretty sure the cops would be able to put together that the knife wound in the student's back was the cause of death.

I can finally say that yandere simulator doesn't feel like a simulator anymore, it feels like a real game with real characters, and a very complex atmosphere. I love this game, keep going!

Let's list all the complications in this game: Teachers Bullies Delinquents, but not quite as much Student Council Hero Persona Photography Club Teacher's Pets Senpai That Mysterious Obstacle (I have gathered clues, and can tell the obstacle is a girl and protective of Osana, therefore she is a family member/close friend. I'm thinking Rival-Chan is gonna become Osana's little sis here :3) After looking at all of this, I think it's easier to just matchmake/befriend all the rivals...
Also a cool thought I had: Since Mida and Muja are faculty, does this mean that instead of getting them expelled, we can get them fired? Also, since Megami is in the family of the man who built the school, would her father allow her to be expelled, or is that not an option for her?
I feel like while the photography club students are being sleuths (80% and lower) , they should let Yandere-chan join them only when she proved that she's innocent. Or else it doesn't make sense they just let anyone join when anybody can be a suspect.
Then again, if a person joins the photography club while atmosphere is below 80%, they’re likely trying to help. Therefore, they don’t suspect them as much.

Photography club just doesn’t fit. It would feel more organic if it were a journalism club that ran the school newspaper. That way it would create a better justification for gathering clues and investigating students
I believe it makes more sense if you view them as a 'main characters' sort of club, in the sense that they were a 'club' created by a group of friends so that they could goof around (as seen in many tv shows/anime) but decided to dedicate their time to solving the murders around the school. Additionally, the members of the club look suspiciously similar to the Scooby Gang. I think the point of this was to add to the whole shift of perspective aspect the game has going on - there is a clear antagonist and protagonist, but you control the antagonist.
I would love it if the sleuths catch you with a trap and then tie you up. They then proceed to pull off you mask revealing that you are actually the schools last student president or something.
I have two things to say. 1. You should make modes, like easy, hard, medium. Because this game is defiantly going to be hard with all these obstacles. 2. I'm really sad to see everyone giving up on this game. It's just been taking so long and people feel like your getting off the main storyline. And I'm not going to lie, I am not a patient person, but I try my hardest to wait and not just give up on the development. But it has been *years,* YandereDev. And I know you want this game to be perfect, and it will be. Maybe stick with the main storyline first.
You do have a point. Maybe for cases like that the player can't be alone with that character for risk of being hunted. Kinda like having Nemesis but its only a triggerable event.
I know you are working on the clubs, but when you are done i have a recommendation for you to add to the game. Rain. It sounds dumb i know but if in starts to rain the students in any outdoor area will have to go inside or grab an umbrella. This would change the students schedule which will give yandere chan a harder time to kill someone because there will be more witnesses. This will also open up some more opportunities to yandere chan, just dont know what type of opportunities.

It probably wasn't implemented yet because he trying hard to put in the connected big stuff and then plans on adding the tiny stuff like the weather into the game before it is completely finished.

You should make it so that if you are in the photography club and the game has under 80% atmosphere, you have to check on certain students as well. (this could be useful to frame people for a murder). And if you don't check on all students you get 1 warning until you get kicked out the club.

im mortal Their names and designs are based off Scooby Doo characters. The similarities are intentional, and the purple haired one represents Daphne, dark skinned one is Scooby and green haired one with chin hair is Shaggy.
I'd like to see the Gamer club be like the social butterfly persona but they're either fight or flight. Some gamers are inspired by games to learn martial arts, sword play, and gun play. But some gamers are innately wimpy, and would probably just run as fast as they can. If they find a body or you murdering, they snap a photo. But if they see you with a weapon or being super susp, they either fight you like a delinquent with any makeshift weapon they have, or run as fast as they can out of school. You could even do some Easter eggs with the Gamer club, like a tan student named Jay Hanzo with a That Dude cap, and a very busty student with Red and Black hair named Mako Makenji. A small nod to two very important gamers who spread the word about your amazing game.

I *strongly* recommend against the Stalkers just always knowing where you are. That feels gamey and forces you to use some really gamey tactics to beat them, or just makes you kill them. Instead, I'd recommend that they can lose track of you, and then they'll spread out searching for you specifically. The patrol AI would take a bit of work, but it could simply be a modified Student Council AI.
Van Ivanov You're brilliant!!! This idea is golden and I agree with it. It seems hard though and it will definitely take him longer to program and implement it than he'll first intend to. But regardless, this idea is amazing and I hope that Yanderedev will take notice and give this a try
I'm not sending an email because it's a suggestion so here I go: I thought it could be interested that friends or crushes would follow someone around (as you said in this video) so if you for example tell kokona to follow you and you murder her in the bathroom, if the guy that has a crush on her or her best friend see you coming out of the bathroom without her they would feel worried. They'd enter the bath to see if she is OK and they'll see her corpse and report you inmediately xd (sorry for my bad english)

Yaaay!!! I've actually been waiting for the Photography Club for ages. It was such an awesome concept way back when, so I am so hyped that it's in the game now! Amazing!
I had this idea in my head for the art club: In the art club, you are able to take paintings that the members have painted and hang them on the wall. This will cause whoever walks by the paining to admire it for a couple seconds, distracting them. If you sabotage a drinking fountain and clog it with paint, it will potentially block the fountain. If the fountain is not blocked, then paint will spew out at the students' face, this will make them go straight to the bathroom and start vomiting, giving you the opportunity to drown them. If you do not drown them when vomiting, they go to change their clothes. If you added the ability to pour blood of bodies that were shredded in the gardening club onto other students, pouring blood on the art club members will not cause others to grow suspicion of them. You can also bring paint cans with you in the art club. One opportunity this may give you is hiding paint in bentos. Doing so will also bring whoever eats the bento afterwards to the bathroom to vomit. I hope this idea becomes an addition.

And they have digital cameras so they don't really need a blackroom since they could get the photos printed at a printing store or something like that.
Aesthetically Pleasing still, I think it would be interesting gameplay-wise: First off, it's dark, so you have a low-visibility environment Second, having a room, where possibly incriminating photos are being developed could give you the ability to either destroy evidence or plant fake photos
I love how the photography club is essentially what would typically be the focus of the story - the group that attempts to stop the bad things that have been happening at the school. Going from a group of friends goofing around in their 'club' to solving the murders around the school. It honestly adds to the really cool whole 'murderer is the protagonist' aspect of this game.
Maybe you could make it so when the atmosphere is under 60% they will interrogate you before you can join their club, and you need to answer their questios correctly in order to be let in The questions would be 2 parts and would vary, the first part would be you having to make a deduction from a small set of clues and the second would be questions about yourself
I think it'd be cool if there could be another yandere in the game. Maybe if Ayano (yandere-chan) gets really popular, she'd catch the attention of a certain character who would turn out to also be a yandere. Her admirer could then follow her around, take pictures of her, sabotage her relationship with other students, steal from her, and maybe even go after Senpai if they discovered that Ayano is in love with him. Or the other yandere could just be in love with one of the other students (maybe a rival?) and if Ayano kills the one they're in love with, they'd try to kill Ayano. Idk, it's an interesting idea.
I feel like if you're being stalked like that the player should be able to get the stalking npcs in trouble, since its against the law. The player could like tell the counselor or a teacher, most likely with proof of them stalking the player. Or at least have the ability to hide. Like if they turn a corner and hide somewhere And if the player shakes them off of their trail i feel like the npcs stalking them should like look around for them. I mean these are ideas and I don't mean to tell you how to design your game either, so i appreciate all the work you've done thus far, I really love the new update!

I like the idea of this persona, it's really interesting you did a good job on these But I had some ideas : when a member of the club witnesses you killing someone, instead of having ALL the club members stalking you in this reaaaaaally un-noticable way, they should split-up in groups : 1-Having two students to stalk you from a distance, only one is dangerous in case of an attack, and try to be as silent as possible. 2- Other members should talk to others students about you to collect informations, for exemple, if yan-chan does the same routine for more than a day in front of other students like always going to a club, they will note that info and wait for you at the club after school 2- One should go to the audio-visual room and stalk your actions on social media to see if you published anything knew. 3- The remaining member should be in your class to keep track of your absences, if you're not coming to study, he would "fake" a stomachach or headach to go to the nurse and try to look for your whereabouts during classtime, kinda like nemesis, but will keep his distances much more than the two stalking you out of class time, the one student following you during classtime will be scared of getting killed if noticed, but will still try to follow you as much as possible to know why you didn't come to school. It will be able for the player to outrun him, to gain time to do whatever they were doing, but the student will try to find the player again. There also should be the possibility for a teacher to catch the student walking in the hallway in classtime and restrain him from following you. I got those ideas and I hope yandev-senpai will see them. Keep on going with the good job.

Wow, the Photography Club will become a real pain. I loved it! Just not a fan of the idea that the stalker can “always track you down”. There should be a way to scape them, which would cause them to start actively looking for you to resume their pursuit.
I imagine it would be some extra work, but not necessarily a nightmare. Don’t know exactly how it would be done (I’m not a programmer myself), but it could follow some of the existing mechanics. If the player escapes the fov of the npc for a specific time it would revert from the pursue directive to a patrol route one. It doesn’t need to be more complex than that.
I think it is fine that they stalk you the entire time, but I don't think it should be all of them. That way they are more killable if needed. If you decide not to kill the stalker, there are still many ways to win the game besides violence. A stalker can't tell the police that you made your rival fall in love with someone else.
Couldn't he use the same method Nemesis uses in Mission Mode for Stalker? So that you could technically escape from them, but if you run then they know where you are, but if you sneaked around the school they had to look for you like Nemesis does ? I think that might be interesting and a bit more realistic and considering It's already been implemented in the game in Mission mode, do-able for programming.
This game is looking really interesting so far, but I'm curious how the player is going to be taught all of this information. Overloading them with a ton of text at the start of the game could leave new players confused for a while if they haven't been following the development of the game, and it would be pretty frustrating to have an elaborate scheme planned out only to be screwed over by a random mechanic you haven't encountered yet.
the whole point is to figure out all the mechanics and quirks for yourself to control the situation. It would be dumb if there'd be a tutorial that'd explain all the little things and how you can avoid them IMO
I would love if the player could hear a rival and "SORRY WHAT WAS THAT?" talking like at the start of the day. Yandere chan stalks "needs hearing aids" and a rival. She overhears them talking like about features of the game. Like personas, cleaning time or part-time jobs.
ToadStar100 it’s meant to be elaborate, so you likely won’t be told this stuff all at once. I think Yandere Dev will put a page that tells how to play and stuff on the website.
Not to hate or anything, this is simply my opinion and perspective, and don't comment something along the lines of "don't like then don't watch" because I believe that Dev should allow his audience to be able to give his game criticism in order to better its quality. The game will be too hard to beat by then, especially with all the delinquents, student council, teachers, heroic students, etc. Sure, "getting away with murder shouldn't be easy" but, this is way too difficult, who would want to play a game that is going to be almost impossible to defeat? It would drain out the fun, especially if your rival is hard to take out (it's not in the beginning, ex: Osana) like Megami. If it will be that difficult to defeat the first rival, then how hard will it be to beat the last? I suggest balancing out the difficulty, but not make it too easy that it's boring, but not too hard that it's annoying. This game has been in development for at least 4 years, and Osana has been in development for about 2 years (i think), but she still hasn't been added. If it is this tricky to add one rival, then how much will it take to add 9 more rivals? If i remember correctly, Dev mentioned that the game will be completed by 2019 or something, but with the current progression rate, I'm pretty sure this game is going to be released when I'm already six feet below the ground and a skeleton. I suggest that Dev asks for assets and such for a rival even before making said rival, so it won't take a rival too long to create her, in fact, since Osana is "almost" complete (tbh that's an overstatement but whatever), he should start asking assets for the next rival already or planning her events and such instead of adding unnecessary things into the game. Also, Dev still has quite a lot to do tbh, example the style change, not much of an issue, but that's not just the issue because there's more that he has to change, and remember Dev is pretty much doing all of the work by himself, he doesn't have multiple teams of experienced and skilled individuals. I understand that the Dev doesn't want to implement Osana now because he wants to make sure that before she's in the game, the game is polished enough and whatnot, though I believe he's getting sidetracked, and is adding too many things. Y'know the saying "quality over quantity", I have more to say but that's all I'm gonna say for now.
Well like, if you were a club leader with a club having no purpose at all with a bunch of friends, of course you'd goof off. But if there were two murders at your school (within the same week) and you could actually make use of your club to serve justice, as a club leader I think you'd investigate and get the club interested. People naturally want to be heroes.

I definitly choose To protect me and my friends as a club leader. The only thing that I think is logic is the fact that they can be stalker if any of them saw you murder someone.. Because they all know who is the bad guy so it's good. The bad thing about it it's that you can't be free of them they always know exactly where you are.. this is totally stupid they aren't tracking dogs they are amateurs photographers..

Im not sure if you'll see this yandere dev, but if a student snaps a picture of you and starts running, if you kill them shouldn't there phone fall out of there hands? Making it so you also have to destroy that before a student or other character finds the phone, making it so you have to get rid of the body and phone, but also making it so the phone can slide away, potentially sliding into a populated area or to close to another student, leaving one behind could cause some issues, if a student finds the phone and turns it in, having the principle look through it to find out who's phone it is and they find the image of you commiting muder result in a game over. And so on and so forth, might be a good idea for the phone addicts and photography club if they spot you.
Chiko This is amazing but don't you feel like it will cause Yanderedev to take most of his time? I mean, he has to wait for assets to make the animation where a student's phone slides out of their hands when they get killed, a student finding the phone, a student turning in the found phone, ans the other animations I forgot to mention. He also has ro ask for voice actors/actressess to record dialogs for a student finding the phone, giving it and dialogs for a teacher/Student Council Member/ Counselor receiving the phone and checking it, the accusation just in case Yandere chan wants to defend her case, etc. There are seriously a lot more flaws he needs to polish and fix before he can take notice of your idea. The idea itself is brilliant but it's very time consuming. The exact reason Osana isn't implemented yet and not a lot of the viewer/gamer requests were forfilled

A reminder
Would it be possible to frame a student and have the photography club stalk them instead? Say, if a student is seen in bloody clothes on the same day a corpse is discovered, they'll connect the dots and stalk them, making it easier to go around without being noticed until a visible murder/ corpse comes up while the suspect was being stalked. This would return the club to their 'interrogate everyone' routine (unless they saw you and you didn't get caught), as that person could not have murdered another student at that time. Just an idea.

I really like the idea of a student having a crush on Yandere-chan. It would make the students feel like they had more personality. Maybe certain students would like certain clubs and would become attracted to Yandere-chan if she joined a specific club and had a high enough reputation. That could be a possible downfall of a club that seems to have too many upsides; you would get an "admirer" that would follow you around.

What'd be better is if they don't see the player, they'd to go up to nearby students and ask where the player is. Or, if no students are around, they'd hang around the area looking for you. That would still make escaping stalkers challenging while still giving the player a chance to, well, escape, at least temporarily.

Only 2(if available) members should be behind you when they find you. When found, the other members (if available) should "accidently" bump into you from different angles.
You should be able to lose track of them, however they go into a searching mode, where they split and search for you.
Just my idea, and I know this game taking a lot of effort. Your implementation with the stalker persona is cool too. Keep it up.

Ayano is shown to put on fake emotions to fit in, so in certain situations, like a murder suicide, pressing Control would cause Ayano to react the same as the other students, and look shocked and terrified. She would also be able to unlock a new persona in low atmosphere: The nervous persona. When used, she would use the same idle animations as other students when the atmosphere is low,

I know this will probably get lost in the sea of comments but I'd love a weather implement in the game, like there is a chance it could rain on a day and evidence gets washed away, snow covering tracks or people 'freezing' to death or like if its sunny people might think they died of heatstroke rather than being murdered. it could just be another random element to the game that helps you (or doesn't) purely from chance?

Photography club just doesn’t fit. It would feel more organic if it were a journalism club that ran the school newspaper. That way it would create a better justification for gathering clues and investigating students
I believe it makes more sense if you view them as a 'main characters' sort of club, in the sense that they were a 'club' created by a group of friends so that they could goof around (as seen in many tv shows/anime) but decided to dedicate their time to solving the murders around the school. Additionally, the members of the club look suspiciously similar to the Scooby Gang. I think the point of this was to add to the whole shift of perspective aspect the game has going on - there is a clear antagonist and protagonist, but you control the antagonist.

1. You should make modes, like easy, hard, medium. Because this game is defiantly going to be hard with all these obstacles.
2. I'm really sad to see everyone giving up on this game. It's just been taking so long and people feel like your getting off the main storyline. And I'm not going to lie, I am not a patient person, but I try my hardest to wait and not just give up on the development. But it has been *years,* YandereDev. I know you are working on the clubs, but when you are done i have a recommendation for you to add to the game. Rain. It sounds dumb i know but if in starts to rain the students in any outdoor area will have to go inside or grab an umbrella. This would change the students schedule which will give yandere chan a harder time to kill someone because there will be more witnesses. This will also open up some more opportunities to yandere chan, just dont know what type of opportunities.

I'd like to see the Gamer club be like the social butterfly persona but they're either fight or flight. Some gamers are inspired by games to learn martial arts, sword play, and gun play. But some gamers are innately wimpy, and would probably just run as fast as they can.
If they find a body or you murdering, they snap a photo. But if they see you with a weapon or being super susp, they either fight you like a delinquent with any makeshift weapon they have, or run as fast as they can out of school.
You could even do some Easter eggs with the Gamer club, like a tan student named Jay Hanzo with a That Dude cap, and a very busty student with Red and Black hair named Mako Makenji. A small nod to two very important gamers who spread the word about your amazing game.

I *strongly* recommend against the Stalkers just always knowing where you are. That feels gamey and forces you to use some really gamey tactics to beat them, or just makes you kill them. Instead, I'd recommend that they can lose track of you, and then they'll spread out searching for you specifically. The patrol AI would take a bit of work, but it could simply be a modified Student Council AI.

I thought it could be interested that friends or crushes would follow someone around (as you said in this video) so if you for example tell kokona to follow you and you murder her in the bathroom, if the guy that has a crush on her or her best friend see you coming out of the bathroom without her they would feel worried. They'd enter the bath to see if she is OK and they'll see her corpse and report you inmediately xd (sorry for my bad english)

I had this idea in my head for the art club:
In the art club, you are able to take paintings that the members have painted and hang them on the wall. This will cause whoever walks by the paining to admire it for a couple seconds, distracting them.
If you sabotage a drinking fountain and clog it with paint, it will potentially block the fountain. If the fountain is not blocked, then paint will spew out at the students' face, this will make them go straight to the bathroom and start vomiting, giving you the opportunity to drown them. If you do not drown them when vomiting, they go to change their clothes.
If you added the ability to pour blood of bodies that were shredded in the gardening club onto other students, pouring blood on the art club members will not cause others to grow suspicion of them.
You can also bring paint cans with you in the art club. One opportunity this may give you is hiding paint in bentos. Doing so will also bring whoever eats the bento afterwards to the bathroom to vomit.
I hope this idea becomes an addition.

First off, it's dark, so you have a low-visibility environment
Second, having a room, where possibly incriminating photos are being developed could give you the ability to either destroy evidence or plant fake photos

I love how the photography club is essentially what would typically be the focus of the story - the group that attempts to stop the bad things that have been happening at the school. Going from a group of friends goofing around in their 'club' to solving the murders around the school. It honestly adds to the really cool whole 'murderer is the protagonist' aspect of this game.

Maybe you could make it so when the atmosphere is under 60% they will interrogate you before you can join their club, and you need to answer their questios correctly in order to be let in
The questions would be 2 parts and would vary, the first part would be you having to make a deduction from a small set of clues and the second would be questions about yourself

I think it'd be cool if there could be another yandere in the game. Maybe if Ayano (yandere-chan) gets really popular, she'd catch the attention of a certain character who would turn out to also be a yandere. Her admirer could then follow her around, take pictures of her, sabotage her relationship with other students, steal from her, and maybe even go after Senpai if they discovered that Ayano is in love with him. Or the other yandere could just be in love with one of the other students (maybe a rival?) and if Ayano kills the one they're in love with, they'd try to kill Ayano. Idk, it's an interesting idea.

I feel like if you're being stalked like that the player should be able to get the stalking npcs in trouble, since its against the law. The player could like tell the counselor or a teacher, most likely with proof of them stalking the player.
Or at least have the ability to hide.
Like if they turn a corner and hide somewhere And if the player shakes them off of their trail i feel like the npcs stalking them should like look around for them.
I mean these are ideas and I don't mean to tell you how to design your game either, so i appreciate all the work you've done thus far, I really love the new update!

But I had some ideas :
when a member of the club witnesses you killing someone, instead of having ALL the club members stalking you in this reaaaaaally un-noticable way, they should split-up in groups :
1-Having two students to stalk you from a distance, only one is dangerous in case of an attack, and try to be as silent as possible.
2- Other members should talk to others students about you to collect informations, for exemple, if yan-chan does the same routine for more than a day in front of other students like always going to a club, they will note that info and wait for you at the club after school
2- One should go to the audio-visual room and stalk your actions on social media to see if you published anything knew.
3- The remaining member should be in your class to keep track of your absences, if you're not coming to study, he would "fake" a stomachach or headach to go to the nurse and try to look for your whereabouts during classtime, kinda like nemesis, but will keep his distances much more than the two stalking you out of class time, the one student following you during classtime will be scared of getting killed if noticed, but will still try to follow you as much as possible to know why you didn't come to school. It will be able for the player to outrun him, to gain time to do whatever they were doing, but the student will try to find the player again. There also should be the possibility for a teacher to catch the student walking in the hallway in classtime and restrain him from following you.
I got those ideas and I hope yandev-senpai will see them. Keep on going with the good job.

Just not a fan of the idea that the stalker can “always track you down”. There should be a way to scape them, which would cause them to start actively looking for you to resume their pursuit.
The problem is that programming that would be a nightmare.
I imagine it would be some extra work, but not necessarily a nightmare. Don’t know exactly how it would be done (I’m not a programmer myself), but it could follow some of the existing mechanics.
If the player escapes the fov of the npc for a specific time it would revert from the pursue directive to a patrol route one. It doesn’t need to be more complex than that.

I think it is fine that they stalk you the entire time, but I don't think it should be all of them. That way they are more killable if needed.
If you decide not to kill the stalker, there are still many ways to win the game besides violence. A stalker can't tell the police that you made your rival fall in love with someone else.
Couldn't he use the same method Nemesis uses in Mission Mode for Stalker? So that you could technically escape from them, but if you run then they know where you are, but if you sneaked around the school they had to look for you like Nemesis does ? I think that might be interesting and a bit more realistic and considering It's already been implemented in the game in Mission mode, do-able for programming.

This game is looking really interesting so far, but I'm curious how the player is going to be taught all of this information. Overloading them with a ton of text at the start of the game could leave new players confused for a while if they haven't been following the development of the game, and it would be pretty frustrating to have an elaborate scheme planned out only to be screwed over by a random mechanic you haven't encountered yet.

the whole point is to figure out all the mechanics and quirks for yourself to control the situation. It would be dumb if there'd be a tutorial that'd explain all the little things and how you can avoid them IMO

I would love if the player could hear a rival and "SORRY WHAT WAS THAT?" talking like at the start of the day. Yandere chan stalks "needs hearing aids" and a rival. She overhears them talking like about features of the game.
Like personas, cleaning time or part-time jobs.
ToadStar100 it’s meant to be elaborate, so you likely won’t be told this stuff all at once. I think Yandere Dev will put a page that tells how to play and stuff on the website.
Not to hate or anything, this is simply my opinion and perspective, and don't comment something along the lines of "don't like then don't watch" because I believe that Dev should allow his audience to be able to give his game criticism in order to better its quality.
The game will be too hard to beat by then, especially with all the delinquents, student council, teachers, heroic students, etc. Sure, "getting away with murder shouldn't be easy" but, this is way too difficult, who would want to play a game that is going to be almost impossible to defeat? It would drain out the fun, especially if your rival is hard to take out (it's not in the beginning, ex: Osana) like Megami. If it will be that difficult to defeat the first rival, then how hard will it be to beat the last? I suggest balancing out the difficulty, but not make it too easy that it's boring, but not too hard that it's annoying.
This game has been in development for at least 4 years, and Osana has been in development for about 2 years (i think), but she still hasn't been added. If it is this tricky to add one rival, then how much will it take to add 9 more rivals? If i remember correctly, Dev mentioned that the game will be completed by 2019 or something, but with the current progression rate, I'm pretty sure this game is going to be released when I'm already six feet below the ground and a skeleton. I suggest that Dev asks for assets and such for a rival even before making said rival, so it won't take a rival too long to create her, in fact, since Osana is "almost" complete (tbh that's an overstatement but whatever), he should start asking assets for the next rival already or planning her events and such instead of adding unnecessary things into the game. Also, Dev still has quite a lot to do tbh, example the style change, not much of an issue, but that's not just the issue because there's more that he has to change, and remember Dev is pretty much doing all of the work by himself, he doesn't have multiple teams of experienced and skilled individuals.
I understand that the Dev doesn't want to implement Osana now because he wants to make sure that before she's in the game, the game is polished enough and whatnot, though I believe he's getting sidetracked, and is adding too many things. Y'know the saying "quality over quantity", I have more to say but that's all I'm gonna say for now.

Well like, if you were a club leader with a club having no purpose at all with a bunch of friends, of course you'd goof off. But if there were two murders at your school (within the same week) and you could actually make use of your club to serve justice, as a club leader I think you'd investigate and get the club interested. People naturally want to be heroes.
Kixeline I want to be alive. If I had a choice betwen keep talking of stuff with my friends and tracking a killer and finished probably dead.. I definitly choose To protect me and my friends as a club leader.
The only thing that I think is logic is the fact that they can be stalker if any of them saw you murder someone.. Because they all know who is the bad guy so it's good.
