Between the xr650l, dr650 & drz400 how would you compare them to each other, which puts the biggest smile on your face and which would you choose if you had to pick 1 bike??
Great Question. The DRZ400S is a fantastic bike, and does amazing off road.... Same with the XR650L, and it does pretty good on road as well... But, if I had to pick ONE, I would go with the DR650. It does really well on road, and it does really well off road as well - Once you change the tires (Factory Bridgestone Trailwings are HORRIBLE). To me, the DR is a great 'Dual Sport', while the XR and DR-Z have a more 'off road' emphasis.... Very soon, I will be doing a video comparing my '24 DR650S to my '23 XR650L for On Road, Off Road, and Dual Sport riding :)
@@OnAnyRandomDay thanks for the reply, I will stay tuned for the future video…I currently have a dr650 but considering getting the xr650l, by brother used to have one and I really enjoyed riding it. Maybe I should switch out the stock tires before I make that decision. Main reason I got the dr is because it’s better for my height at 5’7
@@Itsjake908 I am 5'8" myself, and I did try a Devol 1" lowering link on the rear, a 1" lower seat, and dropping the forks down by 3/4". It definitly helps make the XR feel more comfortable!!! That might work for you as well?
@@OnAnyRandomDay yes I may have to do that if I get the xr. Just debating if I’m ready to let the dr go:( I’ll stay tuned on your upcoming video comparison
