If anyone is readinf this now, please make sure to have a solid warranty for the Basilisk. For any Razer products. I've been using the Basilisk for over a year now and it's been an absolute dream, but I'm going to get a second RMA, albeit for a relatively minor issue. Though there are some people who have had major issues with their products.
I wonder if Razer has improved their product durability. I was taken by their massive advertisements before only to find out that their products are utter crap. They either stopped working or starts to disintegrate as if they are used for decades even though they are just used for few months. I don't like a fairly good product but works only for few months and that was my experience to razer products before.
I returned my Basilisk v3 after a month, although I liked the mouse. It stopped working on startup until you unplug and plug that crap back.
I had a deathadder elite since it launched and only started having problems now

Don’t know why razer can’t make the same mouse clicks on the top at tec.
Better quality due to razer pbt-like textured structure. My Logitech mouse gets shiny and sticky after a while, while my razer mouse is better and not sticky.

most important thing to me is the size and bigger is better. I hav Xl hands and most on gaming mice are way too small
Is there any mouse with replaceable switches? Because no matter how expensive a mouse you purchase... you will either face double-clicking or scroll wheel issues!
Asus ROG mouse have replaceable switches.
both of these mice use optical switches so they would never double click. scroll wheel is different issue for sure
@defu8592 i have basilisk v2 and I have been using it for two years now without any problem but its scroll wheel has started giving problem

The braided cable alone is a no brainier. I can't go back to rubber
The Razer V3 had 2 major problems for me. 1. The right mouse button activated with just the weight of my finger resting on it! You cannot keep your finger held off it for long before it activates as your hand relaxes.....sent back as unusable. 2. The stupif Razer Synapse software was cauing Display Port not recognised on both monnitors starting the PC. I had to restart with a pressed power button.... not usable! Really dissappointing as it felt and looked good otherwise.

The Logitech g502x switches arent so good
I had this mouse for 6 months and both clicks stopped working idk if the problem was from the switch itself or from the motherboard.
Also the build quality is kinda crappy especially the plastic and the scroll wheel.
Finally,i returned this mouse in warranty and I'll buy myself a razer basilisk V3 too to see how it is.

@@ezRuruu yesterday I got it and I have to say the scroll wheel is superior,the clicks are not as tactile but I like them,I like that you can have more on onboard memory options.The material is better but a little abrasive.The side buttons are great except the sniper button is kinda strange and the slide pads are a little worse but that's all
It is an easy choice, G502X switches and scroll wheel are awful. I'm G502 fan but new model is trash!
i got my hands on both for few minutes in a shop both feel quite nice and both have their areas where they excell
i will get v3 because it felt better on my hand it felt better overall

I dont really trust Razer products anymore, I've owned two Razer mice and they both had huge issues after only a couple years of use which was kinda ridiculous to me considering I don't really do any thing that would warrant this kind of wear and tear
I have proteous core and basilisk v3.
I like proteous core as it is heavy and feels sturdy for general use.
Basilisk v3 has a flaw.
If u keep wheel in free spin mode and lift off mouse at 140 degree then wheel spins due to its weight and scroll function is activated.
Havent seen this issue in proteous core.
For gamers v3 is better option.
No one would lift off their mouse while the wheel is in free spin 🤡
g502x feels much prettier and looks good product !
It's because of smoother plastic body compared to rough texture on Basilisk V3, and the flatter design with additional buttons. But I like the in hand feel of Basilisk V3 better.

There is no reason to buy the g502, go with the basilisk v3 instead
Tips: In the long run, some of you may be facing Logitech's double-click issues. that real concern for me. I already faced that (Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum).
Thet shouldn't happen as the button switch is optical this time, compared to Omron switches of earlier mice. I talked about this in the video.

I make use of all 5 buttons on my mouse in my normal day-to-day usage, and not just gaming. It depends on the person. Software is useful, and RGB looks cool :)

Zowie ka konsa mouse
Not because you don't use it, means everybody else don't use it as well. It's a gaming mouse and I do use those buttons for some games.
logitech g hub and razer software both are equally good
Setting up macros in Logitech g hub takes wayy longer on g hub, and even simple key or key combo setup is also more complex to do on Logitech. Their older Gaming software was way better. Razer software is unnecessarily resource intensive though.
