As a Barca fan, La Real are a club I've always admired. They have an incredibly dedicated fan base. A rainy night at the Anoeta is always tough. They play really good football as well, Imanol is doing an incredible job.
La Real ain't chasing trends or tactical fads. They do what they want, how they want, and have faith in it. Is it sexy? Not really. Is it bombastic? Never. What it is, is consistent and effective, allowing La Real to achieve a very high baseline over the course of the whole season. 51 goals isn't sexy, no no no. Yet the passion remains fierce in the stands, the people do not feel bored by their teams motions.
Wdym?? It's always beautiful to watch La Real...they play beautiful football and dominate almost everyone they face, their manager is a special tactical genius
Im from the US and have no ties to spain or basque country whatsoever, im 21 now but when i first started learning about football at age 11, i was instantly intrigued with real sociedad, obviously through learning about real madrid and barcelona at first like everyone else, i started to watch la liga and i was captivated by everything about La Real, the crest, the basque language, and specifically their defender Mikel Gonzalez, since 2014 ive been a fan and have watched every game i can, and with the inclusion of streaming services i have not missed a single one of their games since espn added la liga onto their streaming app in 2021, i really identify with this club and their fanbase, even the basque people in general, i love this club with all my heart, i shed tears when Illaramendi played his last game and i am so proud to see them get back into the UCL, i will forever remain hopeful that WE WILL win La liga again one day, i was lucky to be the generation that saw them lift their first trophy in THREE decades and i know i will be the generation that sees them lift their third la liga🤍💙
That’s crazy, from inside channel joke, to working with Real Sociedad. Because of Adrian, I actually started watching Real Sociedad’s matches. Hopefully one day they can become future champions!
Thanks Adrian for making this video. I'm Txuri Urdin and enjoyed this so much! Kubo & Silva duo is magical! Looking forward to going to a friendly La Real game in SF in August😀
At the start of every season since 19/20 they looked like they were gonna get CL football or challange for the title, unfortunately they were inconsistent and always slipped to the europa spots, glad they atleast clinged on this time.
The problem with Kubo is that he will never be able to gain Spanish citizenship since Japan doesn’t allow dual citizenship This makes him forever taking a non-EU slot, in comparison to Real’s policy of buying the best Brazilian youngsters and getting them Spanish citizenship in two years and then rinse and repeat. Kubo definitely has talent but Real cannot find a place for him and carry a player that always occupies a non-EU slot
Different type of players though I understand why you draw the parallels because of their range of passing and vision. Comparing Silva with Modric, is like comparing Xabi Alonso with Mesut Ozil, it doesn't work.
Congrats on the video and the interview. I really enjoy your videos about teams like this, makes me want to support them even more. I think in La Liga are teams really interesting to follow. Cheers.
I don’t want to sound like a bandwagon but I somewhat liked/favored Sociedad, and after watching this video honestly I’m inclined to become a fan. Always been only a Milan fan and didn’t care about other leagues usually.
Nice video. One of the best fútbol/soccer channels on the platform. Real sociedad has alerts been an interesting and special club. Especially during the vela and Griezmann days.
I think it's a wonderful approach and it should be the way how a football club should run. Players will come through the youth ranks to main team and guide the team to top. There will be signings yes but only a little and majority should be academy products. It's sad how the football has became more money making then actually about football.
Sounds all very similar to Freiburg, especially at 10:49. Nice, that those clubs are represened internationally. Would love to see such a documentary about them... or Heidenheim?!
Great video Adrian! Continuity is something you don't see much in the modern game of Football. Hopefully Real Sociedad does well in the next Champions League season
Please do fc nordjaesland in Denmark they have had the youngest overall squad in Europe for the last 2/3 year and there youth academy is one of the best in the world and the right to dream acamdey great run club
Will you be doing a review of your predictions on european leagues? I remember you also showed us a website where we could make our predictions about the whole table but i can't remember the name now lol
For so long, it's felt inevitable that Real Sociedad would be up there with the rest in the UCL, they've finally done it. They won't be easy to face in LaLiga and neither in the UCL with that Spanish pedigree that bring Spanish clubs success in Europe
This just makes me sad that I feel so out of touch with my own local pro team. The Colorado Rapids shot themselves in the foot by moving outside of Denver to Commerce City. I've always loved being in the stands and they used to be a good team. Sure at the time building one of the biggest sporting complex in North America sounded good on paper but the number of empty seats speaks louder than that. I'm not sure how their academy plays now but back when I was playing nobody wanted to join it because all the better teams were already winning and travelling nationally.
The fact that in your contests only north americans can participate while the subject is a european club of the most followed sport in Europe is dumb AF.
Hey Adrian as a native basque speaker I thought that your attempt at the names was pretty good! But there still were some mistakes I won’t blame you for. Barrene’s name has an etch in it.
As a Barca fan, La Real are a club I've always admired. They have an incredibly dedicated fan base. A rainy night at the Anoeta is always tough. They play really good football as well, Imanol is doing an incredible job.
Call them Sociedad, no one in Spain references them as La Real
@@YD-jf7jethey do
Go pull a lever
...but can you do it in rainy night at the Anoeta???
@regikambo3506 I always say this lmao. The Anoeta is a million times tougher than Stoke.
Absolutely blows my mind to see Adrian collabing with Real Sociedad🤯😂Love it

the last sentence in this paragraph was beautiful :):)

Mikel Arteta and Xabi Alonso both played for Sociedad's junior teams before Arteta joined La Masia and Xabi Alonso remained in San Sebastian.
I am happy for La Real. In the last few years they nearly qualified but it wasn't easy. They will be a tough match for anyone.
The Basques are simply put, amazing at football. Real's core is all homegrown players and Athletic's whole idea is to play with Basque players.
That’s crazy, from inside channel joke, to working with Real Sociedad. Because of Adrian, I actually started watching Real Sociedad’s matches. Hopefully one day they can become future champions!
I just like this club because of Kubo.
Love these guys and Betis
Very happy for Kubo to show his class in an attacking team
Great to see a bit of La Real content. For some reason it is very rare
AUPA REALA

¡Vamos Kubo!
I have been following them for a few seasons and I slowly became basically a true fan of them love to find more about them
The problem with Kubo is that he will never be able to gain Spanish citizenship since Japan doesn’t allow dual citizenship
This makes him forever taking a non-EU slot, in comparison to Real’s policy of buying the best Brazilian youngsters and getting them Spanish citizenship in two years and then rinse and repeat.
Kubo definitely has talent but Real cannot find a place for him and carry a player that always occupies a non-EU slot
David Silva is so criminally underrated! imo he is better than modric.
Cheers.
The rivalry with Bilbao makes Sociedad better
Although I supports Bilbao over Sociedad, respect is mutual
Carlos vela, what could've been. He made Me love this club. great video Adrian
we won 2 Copa del Rey since the last league trophy. Those are major trophies
Jeeez. All those 9 academy graduates would be good players for most clubs in europe.
I don’t want to sound like a bandwagon but I somewhat liked/favored Sociedad, and after watching this video honestly I’m inclined to become a fan. Always been only a Milan fan and didn’t care about other leagues usually.
You have good eye signore, me too, i like la Real, and also A.C. MIlan, its a matter of taste. All the best for the best
Club sponsored videos is such a cool development! I love it man :)
I really want to see how they do in Champions League next season. Don't sleep on them!
i love this kind of videos, Celta and osasona and then this one,
thx for this content ❤️🫡
Nice video. One of the best fútbol/soccer channels on the platform. Real sociedad has alerts been an interesting and special club. Especially during the vela and Griezmann days.
Sociedad's system is similar to Bilbao's. Props to the Basque region.
I think it would be a interesting video to see on the topic of Figo to real madrid and how that happened from hating real to playing for them
Congratulations on this collaboration 🎉
You are a great football journalist man

I'm really struggling to get into La Liga, trying to pick a team. Loving these collabs to help educate me
Longtime subscriber and Txuri Urdin, glad you make this video ❤
Sounds all very similar to Freiburg, especially at 10:49. Nice, that those clubs are represened internationally. Would love to see such a documentary about them... or Heidenheim?!
Love the video Adrian and the new style of content too 👍 looking forward to seeing La Real in July when they play Sporting in a friendly in Lisbon.
Great video Adrian! Continuity is something you don't see much in the modern game of Football. Hopefully Real Sociedad does well in the next Champions League season
Adrian partnering with the future champions. Great :)
I never thought Adrian was going to fall in love with the blue and white stripes...
Please do fc nordjaesland in Denmark they have had the youngest overall squad in Europe for the last 2/3 year and there youth academy is one of the best in the world and the right to dream acamdey great run club
would have loved to be able to win a chance of getting that signed kit. sadly, im from Singapore. oh well. love the video! keep it up brother.
Future champs of la liga😊
Will you be doing a review of your predictions on european leagues? I remember you also showed us a website where we could make our predictions about the whole table but i can't remember the name now lol
Adrian collaborating with the "Future Champs La Real" haha, congratulations man.
I love the intro ❤
When's the next Unsackable podcast episode going to air? It's been a million years already!
Where does he post it?
yo Adrian, my sister would like to know where you got those glasses. lovely video btw.
With in the next 2 years Kubo will move to Real Madrid and the rebuild cycle will turn on ... 🤷🏻♂️
real Socediad did great work in giving second chances
Adrian, when we getting the Reacting to your Prem predictions video...?
I hope they do better this time in CL
Adrian will curse them like he did with Celta Vigo 😭🤣
You forgot to mention the also helped Theo Hernandez
For so long, it's felt inevitable that Real Sociedad would be up there with the rest in the UCL, they've finally done it. They won't be easy to face in LaLiga and neither in the UCL with that Spanish pedigree that bring Spanish clubs success in Europe
Poor Philippe montanier man

🙏🏿💜
Chemistry and teamwork doesn’t seem to be as valued in these later years. Especially since transfers became so prevelant.
GOD BLESS IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME AMEN 🙏🙌✝️🕊️❤️!!!!!!!!
If this is impressive, what do we call Bilbao set up?
they ain’t even qualified to conference since 2015
failure
But la real dont have enough money to win titles
man what the hell? i want the Silva shirt, this suck. Africa gets no love.
💙🤍
The fact that in your contests only north americans can participate while the subject is a european club of the most followed sport in Europe is dumb AF.
I think they can get Brahim Diaz on loan from Real Madrid
Díaz won’t go on loan, he is the natural replacement for Asesino
Too bad it won't be sustainable for them financially
Bro I ain't got Twitter
First
Alex Remiro is a Bilbao graduate...stop lying
txuri urdin txuri urdin maitea
txuri urdin txuri urdin aurrera
beti beti maite maite maitea
donostia,donostiarra!
