I started doing a weekly reset on Fridays and it's made SUCH a huge difference - if I complete the checklist, I'm all set for the upcoming week and because I do it on Fridays it leaves the weekend completely free to do whatever I want as opposed to using it to "catch up."

One thing that really helps me to reset before a new week starts is that on Sunday late afternoon I prepare myself for the new week by washing my hair, doing my nails, preparing my wardrobe (possibly for the whole week or at least for the next day) and all the accessories, and going to bed early. This way I am not stressed about not getting enough sleep before the new week starts.

I also plan my meals for the week (or at least 2-3 meals) and check my list of little things that make me happy and see if I can schedule something in (like inviting friends over, going to the nature etc). Google Keep is a life-saver :)
YES!! the get clear section is so important as just experienced this recently. I did and got rid of all the things that were lingering in my head for at least this week and my mind feels free and happy to then do things I really wanted. I believe having all these distractions and any unresolved problems interfere with reaching your real goals.

I enjoy choosing and setting aside my workout outfits for the week. I don't know, it stresses me out to pick out outfits in general in the moment, so I like to do it beforehand. I put all the outfits in a large basket next to my bedroom door so it's always there looking at me with disappointment if I don't make it to the gym!
Love it! I do this every week too; I do my personal weekly review/planning on a Saturday morning, usually after cleaning, and my work review/planning on a Friday afternoon. I can’t count the number of times it’s stopped things falling through the cracks. I like to include a stocktake of the house to see if I need to add anything to my shopping list too.
uuuuh I just saw 'mind for numbers' on your To-Read List. It has been sitting on my shelf for months and I started reading it last week. It truly is amazing! You can use it for the general learning purpose not related to science. I highly recommend you get it. i cannot belief I am only reading it now.

For those things that aren't time sensitive, I have them in a list in google keep called "one a days". I find it a lot less stressful because if there are things that are time sensitive or things that I really need to get done today, it becomes very overwhelming to see them all. So I have my regular "to do" list still, plus a "one a days". Then if I know I will have time, every afternoon on the train home I check my one a days and see if there is anything I can tackle.

This is a great video, and his change my life! I actually have two weekly resets. One checklist is for work on Friday, so I come in fresh on Monday, and the second is for Sunday night at home so I can wrap up my week. Look forward to seeing more videos from you.

I do something very similar to this on a Sunday with Google Cal and Trello (those two apps are basically my brain), but I don't do the email, paperwork and handbag clean up. That's such a great idea! I'm always so behind on mail and dealing with paper work as it's such a chore, but leaving it a month at a time (or realistically, 6 months..) makes a it harder! I'm going to get caught up and put it on my Sunday list 😊

This is a great video, and his change my life! I actually have two weekly resets. One checklist is for work on Friday, so I come in fresh on Monday, and the second is for Sunday night at home so I can wrap up my week. Look forward to seeing more videos from you.
Awesome I’m definitely going to start doing some version of this. I have my own real estate business so as an entrepreneur I think this will be hugely helpful for clarity and peace of mind.

I know you've posted plan with me's and stuff before but I would love if you did an entire run through of how you plan our your day/week/month and how you stay organized with google keep and calendar! I've done most of these things while watching this video. Woohoo! Thanks. Also thanks for teaching me so much I didn't know about Google. I've been a Google user pretty much my whole life and had no idea I could open keep on the calendar page and turn to-dos into reminders with the click of a button. Just wow!

Thanks for the app recommendation. Usually I‘m a bit hesitant when it comes to paying for a random app. But Things 3 has incredible ratings and was developed by a small German company 😊. For me as a German another reason to give it a try in order to support a small national company.

I do something very similar to this on a Sunday with Google Cal and Trello (those two apps are basically my brain), but I don't do the email, paperwork and handbag clean up. That's such a great idea! I'm always so behind on mail and dealing with paper work as it's such a chore, but leaving it a month at a time (or realistically, 6 months..) makes a it harder! I'm going to get caught up and put it on my Sunday list 😊
