Progesterone can be taken by women early in pregnancy either orally, vaginally, or by intramuscular injection. There are several brands of progesterone that are available: Crinone, Endometrin and Prometrium are available in the United States and Canada. Utrogestan and Cyclogest are available in the United Kingdom.
Progesterone is sometimes taken after ovulation but before an embryo has implanted in the uterus. It can also be taken in early pregnancy after an embryo has implanted.

    Well, this is very interesting!
EVERY IVF doctor I’ve been to has insisted on progesterone for implantation.

This does not address the use of progesterone and IVF or frozen embryo transfer cycles. That is different and progesterone is needed in those treatments.

Out of 11 oocyte only 2 reached blastocyst stage. Is it possible to find the gender before PGT? As PGT costs very expensive. Or I need to produce more blastocyst before genetic testing. Kindly give suggestion

is too high progesterone can affect implementation? I am donor egg recipient - transfer 2 embryos - during verification 6 days after transfer the progesterone was 115 (like in 3rd trimester) where HCG was 0.1 means no success. in transfer day I had 17.

Im curious how do you test for endometriosis. My doctor is thinking that might be why we keep having chemical miscarriages. Do you have a video for this?

Sometimes you can see endometriosis cysts in the ovaries on ultrasound but usually the diagnosis is made during laparoscopic surgery.
There is no evidence that endometriosis is linked to biochemical pregnancy loss

Well they should have tested my progesterone level from the beginning . Once I was bleeding they gave me progesterone and it did nothing.. they told me that chances are very low but we will try, it just stopped my normal miscarriage and I then needed a D&C. My skin was then awful for a month.
Plus I remember to have been given progesterone once for my cycle and it completely messed up my cycles for 3 months instead of fixing it.

My OBGYN said the same thing: Progesterone does not cure or harm. Taking it won't change the situation, it's just an indicator of pregnancy development.
