You can message customer support to get the ads removed. Just tell them that the ads are inappropriate or that it’s slowing you kindle down. 9/10 if you get someone nice they’ll remove the ads for free.
I love my Paperwhite. I have a clear case and change the stickers all the time. I use a small piece of double stick tape on the sticker (without removing the backing paper) to attach to the kindle then put the case over them to keep in place. Easily removable to use a different day. 😊❤

I just got the newest paperwhite too in december and I can't believe I waited this long. it's been amazing for my crappy eyes too. I really like how you can easily adjust the brightness and switch to things like dark mode and warm or bright lights. I still find scrolling the library slow but eh. it's not a big deal for me
You should try a sleeve for your kindle. Then you can just pop it in the sleeve when you aren't using it or when you put it in your bag. That way your kindle will be protected but it will still be light to hold when you're using it. That's what I do :) I got mine from Etsy, they have a bunch of really cute ones.

I just don’t read much so I will probably wait to get one until it’s on sale again. 😊 I also don’t read in bed or at night so I am like do I really need the kindle because so far the kindle app on my iPad is good enough. I just wish that the kindle iOS app had wordwise ? Also his does the reading ruler work on the kindle ?

I keep thinking that I might want an actual kindle, but then I also have the kobo app and maybe I should get a kobo? and then I just think, 'ehh, my phone is fine.'

I don’t even know which one I have. I just know I have an 8pm 6.8 inch Kindle Paperwhite. The here was another option of All New Kindle 2022. Not sure the difference. Lol
The kindle is durable but if you dont want a case on it than I would still recommend a matte screen protector. I didnt have a case on mine when I first got it and it flipped in the car while making a turn and it scratched the screen. Very light scratch but still annoying to have to look at while reading.
I've tried my mom's paperwhite and I didn't like that the background color couldn't be changed to dark black, it was more like a light black. I found that my kindle fire feels better on my eyes because I can change to a black background with white words.
I would not be able to live without mine. Lol. My first e reader was an Oprah favorite things on the first one she ever did. You had to upload your phone and plug the phone cord into the device. It held… gasp. Up to 7 books on it. And it was amazing ! Lol. I still have the first kindle the made. I don’t read paper books unless it’s a super special book. I hope you love it.

Continuous scroll is in the settings where you can change the font size under layout
