Thank you so much for this song, I am 14 years old and I faced challenges at a very young age. I was 12 when we moved to a Christian church and I'm so glad for that. I experienced mind torture, and God found me while I was in pieces. Well, nothing's change about my situation inside the house, but the difference is I am with God now to face this challenge. I want to be a disciple one day, but I am struggling with my resentment and patience right now. I just got home yesterday from a discipleship conference, and it was actually an answered prayer and I am so happy for that. Little by little, my emotional wounds are healing because of God, but sometimes or many times, I fail because of my situation. How can the wounds be healed when I'm still in the same place and with the same person that is causing the wounds? I know in God's perfect time, He will get us out from here. Please pray for me. @@rjanessa143 uno, I have a movie that I was trying to find to do with God using things and harsh times to bring together and use these for good.. and I found it hard to believe at first.. seeing these things happen in my life and could relate alot in this programme I got calles New Faith Network. If you want, it's very good for all sorts of relatable Christ centered movies for all ages.. maybe it will help you during these times of hardships and healing that's taking place in your life😊 I've even learned lessons from some of these movies. Give it a try if you like anyway said I'd recommend if you don't have it already. Going through a divorce after 5 years of marriage, lost my best friend, her family cut me off, family dog died, was removed from my church, young adults group, and community group, a good friend killed herself, I lost my job and career, and lost my home as well- all of this in the past 4 months. I’m mid-20’s riddled with PTSD and anxiety. God is so good for bringing this up to me during this time. I’m struggling with so much pain right now. I pray God helps me raise my son to be a godly man, and uses me as a loyal servant for His needs. Glory to Jesus Christ for having bought me at a high price, my suffering is not unseen, and my broken spirit will again be lifted up one day.

last night... i ended up stumbling to a past sin. and i actually just recently got saved by the Lord from my addictions. and so it felt like i failed again. i slept without talking to the Lord. but He woke me up at midnight. i was thirsty. i scrolled through youtube, wanting to hear a worship song before finally speaking with God. i didn't know what to say after all. i saw so many worship songs on my feed but i felt like none of them was what i needed. until i saw this song "if not You, Lord". other than the title was catchy and sounded personal, i was drawn to the singer's name because it looked like a japanese or some other nationality, aside from the usual worship singers on my timeline. i clicked and listened. it played Jesus loves me at first, then went on to narrating the struggles of being a Christian and how it was not as easy as it sounds and the falling we sometimes experience but that at the end of the day, God holds on to us and never lets us go really. and that we have no other place to run to but only God and God alone. and i cried and cried throughout the song, realizing God really led me to listen to this and let me know how much He loves me and takes care of me. maybe God led me to drink water because i would cry this much again after a while haha. He then redirected me to this bible verse: Because he loves Me. I will rescue him. I will protect him for he acknowledges My Name. He will call on Me and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation. Psalms 91:14-16. The Lord will protect me, deliver me, satisfy me, and show me His salvation. tonight i prayed and repented and declared His promises that i am forgiven, He remembers my sins no more, i am the righteousness of God through Jesus, i am a royal priesthood, a chosen people, a holy nation, and whom the Son sets free is free indeed. thank you for your music : )

I'm Brazilian and I feel so alone and sick of myself falling every week on the same sin. People compliment me all the time because I know the scriptures better than them but I feel so broken and lost. I'm so opressed about my sin that I can't pray and seek God anymore. Everything spiritual I do feels so empty.
When we feel empty and broken, it surely means that our soul is calling us God is always calling! He is always ready to listen to us. He loves you and He is always protecting you🤍🤍
May God give you His peace and enable you to rest in His love for you. He is the only one who can keep us blameless. Some things take time. Don't focus on your failure, that is what the devil wants, to keep you down and condemned. Focus on God's love and forgiveness for you, He made you and he knows your weaknesses but He still loves you. He is with you. Receive His strength as your own.

I remember someone saying in the comments that this song was finding people at the right time- and boy are they right! I, like many people here have been struggling. Spiritual warfare has been hitting me pretty hard lately and at one point I felt like my entire eternity was destined for doom. But luckily recently I have been trying to trust The Lord and he has been good! Over the course of my afflictions, I have been thinking about the refinement process of a sword; how it's put through the water, the waiting, and the fire to be refined, shaped, and strengthened. And even though I may be going through the fire I know The Lord has heard me! Today my pastor talked about the very same thing I was thinking about all week- the refinement of the metal. So I went home in a joyous mood from the comfort I found amongst my Brothers and Sisters whilst listening to the sermon, and stumbled upon this song. At first I didnt want to listen to it because it looked quite depressing and I thought "why should I listen to something depressing when I have finally found joy?" so I almost skipped over it- but I had this intense feeling that I needed to listen to it. So, even though I had no idea who Rokosituo was or what the song was about I decided to listen to the song. And boy was I touched- while I didnt cry, I felt in my heart such comfort that there was someone- anyone- out there who knew my pain and that my story is not over yet. Hold on Brothers! Though you may be weary and afflicted He can give you rest, though you may be going through the valley of the shadow of death you can fear no evil, for He is with you! We may be going through the fire now, but one day we will be glistening swords! Praise Yah this was such a blessing. I struggled with Depression most of my Adult life. Yah has always been my lifeline. Last year I was processing delayed grief from a friend who passed away when I was 17. Yah was the one who walked me through the valley. Without Yah I am nothing. Anything I accomplish is through his Grace and Mercy.

I want to be a disciple one day, but I am struggling with my resentment and patience right now. I just got home yesterday from a discipleship conference, and it was actually an answered prayer and I am so happy for that. Little by little, my emotional wounds are healing because of God, but sometimes or many times, I fail because of my situation. How can the wounds be healed when I'm still in the same place and with the same person that is causing the wounds? I know in God's perfect time, He will get us out from here. Please pray for me. Going through a divorce after 5 years of marriage, lost my best friend, her family cut me off, family dog died, was removed from my church, young adults group, and community group, a good friend killed herself, I lost my job and career, and lost my home as well- all of this in the past 4 months. I’m mid-20’s riddled with PTSD and anxiety.
God is so good for bringing this up to me during this time. I’m struggling with so much pain right now. I pray God helps me raise my son to be a godly man, and uses me as a loyal servant for His needs.

last night... i ended up stumbling to a past sin. and i actually just recently got saved by the Lord from my addictions. and so it felt like i failed again. i slept without talking to the Lord.
but He woke me up at midnight. i was thirsty. i scrolled through youtube, wanting to hear a worship song before finally speaking with God. i didn't know what to say after all.
i saw so many worship songs on my feed but i felt like none of them was what i needed. until i saw this song "if not You, Lord". other than the title was catchy and sounded personal, i was drawn to the singer's name because it looked like a japanese or some other nationality, aside from the usual worship singers on my timeline.
i clicked and listened. it played Jesus loves me at first, then went on to narrating the struggles of being a Christian and how it was not as easy as it sounds and the falling we sometimes experience but that at the end of the day, God holds on to us and never lets us go really. and that we have no other place to run to but only God and God alone.
and i cried and cried throughout the song, realizing God really led me to listen to this and let me know how much He loves me and takes care of me. maybe God led me to drink water because i would cry this much again after a while haha.
He then redirected me to this bible verse: Because he loves Me. I will rescue him. I will protect him for he acknowledges My Name. He will call on Me and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation. Psalms 91:14-16. The Lord will protect me, deliver me, satisfy me, and show me His salvation.
tonight i prayed and repented and declared His promises that i am forgiven, He remembers my sins no more, i am the righteousness of God through Jesus, i am a royal priesthood, a chosen people, a holy nation, and whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

I remember someone saying in the comments that this song was finding people at the right time- and boy are they right! I, like many people here have been struggling. Spiritual warfare has been hitting me pretty hard lately and at one point I felt like my entire eternity was destined for doom. But luckily recently I have been trying to trust The Lord and he has been good! Over the course of my afflictions, I have been thinking about the refinement process of a sword; how it's put through the water, the waiting, and the fire to be refined, shaped, and strengthened. And even though I may be going through the fire I know The Lord has heard me! Today my pastor talked about the very same thing I was thinking about all week- the refinement of the metal. So I went home in a joyous mood from the comfort I found amongst my Brothers and Sisters whilst listening to the sermon, and stumbled upon this song.
At first I didnt want to listen to it because it looked quite depressing and I thought "why should I listen to something depressing when I have finally found joy?" so I almost skipped over it- but I had this intense feeling that I needed to listen to it. So, even though I had no idea who Rokosituo was or what the song was about I decided to listen to the song. And boy was I touched- while I didnt cry, I felt in my heart such comfort that there was someone- anyone- out there who knew my pain and that my story is not over yet. Hold on Brothers! Though you may be weary and afflicted He can give you rest, though you may be going through the valley of the shadow of death you can fear no evil, for He is with you! We may be going through the fire now, but one day we will be glistening swords! I struggled with Depression most of my Adult life. Yah has always been my lifeline.
Last year I was processing delayed grief from a friend who passed away when I was 17. Yah was the one who walked me through the valley.
Without Yah I am nothing. Anything I accomplish is through his Grace and Mercy.
