The incredible part is now there is a elite commander with APCS for the pan Asian tech tree line. And I don’t have any pan Asian premiums battleship. And I got that commander out of a free crate🤷🤯. Thank you for the video.

Interesting. I've played probably 6 or 7 rounds in it, and never managed to get over 70k damage. I'm suspecting that you'll have to manually aim for deck pens, and then you can get more value out of the 300% citadel bonus, but haven't tested it. Or maybe things work much better at close range?
Hey Terry great vid.. to solve the gun comparison one idea would be to pit the Georgia vs the Sun YS in a training room 1v1! Would love to see that and we can finally have some idea of how WG varies the penetration even if the gun caliber is the same!
Historically, the Soyuz class was supposed to surpass all classes with size and armor. They need to buff the armor on this boat and make her a brawler. I feel like the pen would be better with manual aim and deck targeting at long range and turret strip when your close
Also historically he soviets had no hability to manufacture any armor plate with more than 220mm thickness and also had crap quality armor so the 450mm of Soyuz would be more like a 300mm plate then no, they don't need an armor buff because they probably have much much much better armor in game than they would have in reality.

Wait i thought the lower damage ap shot are over pen ? Like in pc variant you either doesnt penetrate at all or do full pen or over penetrate with the ap
the 900-odd damage numbers are half-penetrations (shell hit the armour, but exploded before going through all the way). In Blitz, we have four possible alpha damage modifiers for AP, depending on the remaining penetration vs armour thickness at impact (no angles): 100% for full pen (shell went through & exploded inside), 50% for semi-pen (shell didn't go through & exploded on armour), 25% for over-pen (shell went all the way through & out the other side), and 0% for a bounce (shell ricochet, no explosion). Those are the alpha damage modifiers, before general damage reduction is applied.

No way they gave this thing 457 and still has worse pen than 406 and 420. Moreover having only 6 guns means you are outmatched by almost every t9 bb. I don't use gift cards, no. I'm playing on Android, so if I'm making a purchase, it'll go through Google pay. I don't know what amount of information Google will forward to WG, but since they'll be forwarding the payment, minus their commission, there's going to be some form of reference number, I assume, because WG obviously needs to match the payment to me receiving the purchased item in-game. I'm unaware of (and would be extremely surprised by) any gift card scams done by WG. You can't buy an outright "Warships Blitz" gift card, but it would have to go through the respective payment processor (Google or Apple). So if someone contacts you and claims to be WG, asking for gift card codes, I would assume that's a scam, and maybe let support@wowsblitz.com know about it, but most certainly not send any money etc. As far as "tracking my info" goes, WG knows what I've provided when signing up for a wg.net account, but that's about it. I don't see anything nefarious there.

It's possible that you can get improved results with manual aiming on larger devices (like tablets, or on emulators), but comparing to other ships, yes, I found that quite underwhelming. Also, on the PA line, there's no legendary commander with APCS+ that could possibly mitigate it somewhat. While it's not a bad ship, I find that she'll struggle to do damage. Now, you could argue to go for reload instead of range / precision, and play more close-up, but that's not something that I find working particularly well with a Sojuz hull, and Soviet BBs have trouble with DDs in general.
Yeah you gotta admit that this ship is disappointing despite her decent look. I wanted to see how she stacks up with Georgia yet it turn out that the latter is just way superior in almost every way. My Georgia can do 70+k pretty consistently and she pens those German BBs like hard.

This ship is pretty good in blitz, Pc not so much with where the PC meta is today. But blitz she is pretty good.

Sun Yat-Zen is pretty infamous in PC for having lower AP damage than Soyuz's 406mm guns, giving her much lower DPM.
