Darmian is probably the most solid and reliable squad member who has played RWB, CB and CDM in this season alone and has played well in every position. He never puts a foot wrong.
Bastoni is one of the best ball handling CBs in world football and is currently being scouted by the likes of Liverpool and Barcelona.

I mean i agree that inter are the underdogs and nobody expected them to be there but mostly because the italian league went tits up 15 years ago and now all italian teams struggle to compete with barça real bayer an PL but most people had them as solid title contenders in serie a before the season begun. And also yes there are a couple of journeymen on the wrong side of 30 but the midfield is easily the best in italy and by a long shot. It still is a cinderella story but there is no need to disrespect the team that much. And for the love of all that is holy teams do not use a 3/5 men line defense because their full backs cant defend, that is just cringe
I was getting ready for an avalanche of Lautaro Martinez World Cup hate but he got it wrong in other ways. This isn’t that different from the final two years ago, Inter are about on the level as that Chelsea team. Also Darmian yes feel good story but Lukaku is literally the player that has had the most transfer fees spent on him in football history and Mikhitaryan was incredibly sought after at Dortmund. Also brushes over beating Barcelona, the Spanish champions like it’s nothing.

And i also sort of agree with the bloke when he says that nobody expected mykytarian acerbi and even dzeko to perform as well as they did but treating inter as midtable team irritated me a bit when inter won more CL of all but 2 PL teams so its not like we are a team of plumbers. As for lukaku while i like him there is to say that one of the main reason he is performing so well is because italian media does not put so much pressure on him and also because at inter people know what he is good at. Which is to protect the ball with his back to the goal and sprinting if he has enough space to gain momentum. I have not said inter had a great season, i know there were rumors of a possible manager sack around february, but even then we were 6th, still not mid table and that was a disappointing season not the average(still is as far as the league is concerned since we never contended the scudetto). I repeat again i get that it is a cinderella story, but there is no need to picture inter as a mid-table team with a bunch of journeymen in the late 30s, that is just disrespectful. and when the guy of the video comes out and said that the team uses the 352 because their fullbacks cant defend i lost most respect for the video tbh.
Not gonna lie, you have the "I can't see past EPL, two spanish teams, maybe Bayern..." mentality. Inter under Inzaghi has been good in big games. Last year in CL they only lost against RM, and Liverpool (plus they won 1:0 on Anfield and red card stop them from having a great chace to go further) - two teams that made ot to the finals. And that was the only cup competition they lost under him.
Add City choking, not doing great againts 3 CB defence two years ago... There is a chance.

Fact checker here:
1. Man City's dominance has hardly lasted "two decades". Maybe the better part of this last one
2. Pep "the best of this Century" is a bit of an hot take, but it's up for debate.
3. the "Italian football legend" is not him, it's his brother
4. No team plays with a backline of 5 defenders (and most of all they don't do it because they have "shit fullbacks"). They normally play with a 3-5-2 with the wingers helping both on the attack as much on the defensive end of the pitch.
5. Inter has probably the best midfield out of the entire Serie A and is not even close (just mentioning as it really is worth saying. Not even close to Man City's but excellent on their own accord).
As an unbiased fan, the disrespect on Inter is unbelievable. They really are a decent team and honestly the argument of an "easy path to the final" would have been true for any other team that got out from that side of the bracket.
Not by any stretch are they favorite but they are not just "rejects" from some EPL team. Put some respect on Inter's name...

Lautaro still is the highest scorer under Scaloni, did score a goal that was canceled by offside in the WC and in that tournament scored the final penalty against the Netherlands and gave Messi the rebound shot agaisnt France.

For the Americans here, to put how unlikely it is to see Inter Milan in this final; the best recent similar situation i can think of is Dallas Mavericks in the 2011 NBA finals, after barely anyone thought they'd even go far in the playoffs, not to talk of knocking out Lebron's Heats, and later winning it all.
or maybe even Toronto Raptors in 2019 after they won the Eastern Conference finals and defeated the Golden State Warriors, thus ending the Warriors' dynasty of 2010s.

I'm an Arsenal fan, but also a fan of football. As the first, I hate City, but as the second, I love watching them and think they will deservedly win the Treble. This year's City is one of the best teams I have seen in my life.

I’m a United fan so naturally I’m mad they will be the second English club ever to win The Treble. But as a neutral and futbol fan, I’m really excited that they their team hasn’t even reached prime form as half their players still have 3-6 years until they reach their primes. On one hand it’s terrifying, but at the other I’m getting the vibes of history being made similar to the three peat that Zidane’s Madrid did and the absolute dominance Barcelona had in the late 2000’s.
Oh and other clubs are realizing m this and are doing quite literally everything they can to put up a good fight like Arsenal did this season. The current undergoing rebuild Arsenal, Newcastle, United, and Liverpool are having is getting me excited for an even more competitive premier league since city have barely snatched away the premier league title in the past 6 years (Liverpool losing to city buy only a handful of points and Arsenal breaking down at the last few weeks of the prem after their phenomenal run)

I’m not even going to point out one by one all the mistakes he has made in this video, nor the amount of sentences that are just a pure disrespect to Inter and football in general. Inter are the underdogs, but they are definitely the strongest team in Italy at the moment (even if they struggled for a number of reasons at the beginning of Serie A) and they got here by eliminating the winner of La Liga and the winner of the Portuguese league. i'm sorry but this time you're so off. inter isn't a poor team, they have one of the best miedfield and attacks in europe and a excelent defense. we are just been bad this year in the league, but we played well against bayern and barca and last year dominated both legs against liverpool and the home match against real madrid (last year's finalists) so i think people are really underrating inter

A team owned by a Chinese with no (more) money (after the covid), with a broken main sponsor that didn't pay them what they had to.
They are trying to do the best possible while selling its most valuable players to pay debts.
On the other side a team owned by one of the richest Arabs in the world, with one of the richest main sponsors, that can buy any player they want and can easily go around FPF rules to be able to spend even more.
UEFA permitted Inter to add a new sponsor for last game vs Tornino and the UCL. Streaming service Paramount+, who also happen to carry the UCL and Serie A in the US paid for the front of the shirt now and back next season. Paramount+ also just started operations in Italy recently.
@@TheFatGandalf Yes, I know. They already played with that sponsor (the logo is quite ugly on the shirt) against Torino, in Serie A. It helps Inter putting some money in, but it doesn't compensate the income they were supposed to get from Digitalbits.
For the next season there are rumors about Qatar Airways or Turkish Airlines. And Paramount+ could remain, but not as the main one.

To put it in perspective, this matchup in terms of the level of each teams is similar to Super Bowl XLII when the 15-0 Patriots looked unstoppable against the very modest New York Giants with aging stars and we all know what happened there (David Tyree catch). Man City is like the 2007 15-0 Patriots and Inter is like the 2007 Giants. Let's hope for the same outcome where the underdog is crowned champions.

This season, as much as I hate to say it, Man City are definitely the best team right now. The best midfielder who can pass any pass and shoot from anywhere. Not to mention the goal machine and that’s only two of a squad of great players. I really hope inter will do it

Inter was created in 1908. It has been one of three most dominant Italian teams ever. It has won 3 champions leagues. It has seen the likes of Ronaldo, Vieri, Cordoba, Zanetti, Eto’o, Cambiasso, Meazza, Facchetti… wearing its shirt. Man city has never been relevant until the 2000s. Wake up!
So in Europe if you haven’t won 5 Champions leagues, you have no history.

Inter is the underdog basing on the fact that City's team is valued 1.05 billion euros and Inter's 535 million (transfermarkt values). If we are talking about history, Inter is superior. Regarding current value, Man City is a super team and it is clearly the favourite.

But they have the ability to beat Manchester City without their opponents playing like dogs***. Erling Haaland is good (actually legendary), but he didn’t show up in the FA Cup Final.
