The amount of knowledge you have on just ranchu alone is just amazing👏🏼👏🏼
Personally, I have had ranchus before and I still end up liking orandas more for their aggressive and active personality, but I can see why people like milk cow ranchus- absolutely adorable

I'm an importer and for big farm like this usually they don't work with customers that buy one or 2 fish. They usually have a minimum order amount.

It's possible, but always a risk. Proper cow ranchu should retain their colours and be quite stable

Hi i kept fancy goldfish as a kid and would like to come back into the hobby but start with quality from a good breeder here in the uk, and can you advice which type of ranchu would be a good fish for a beginner ,also is there a book you can recommend. Those milk cow ranchs are lovely but way to expensive for me im afraid, but any advice will be most welcome i have liked and subscribed PAUL

Hi Paul, any type of ranchu are great for a beginner. I would definitely check out star fisheries and order some small higher quality fish to grow on. Growing them on from a small size will help show you what to look for in larger fish as you get deeper into the hobby and give you a lot of experience in watching them develop. You should be able to get some small really nice quality fish for £30/£40 each that will grow into high quality specimens. Hope that helps 🙏 😄

Thank you for your advice and yes I agree I think buying a group of young quality ranchus from a reputable source is the best way to start but also learn what to look for ?
I watched the video how you described each milk cow ranchus and you certainly know your subject which is always good to see 👍

This video might help in showing what to look for. There is also a part one to it.
