William Keegan began recording some lo-fi garage punk tunes to a 4 track tape machine back in 2010. He recruited three close friends to actualize these quick-moving, jangly jams resulting in what is today known as together PANGEA. The quartet incorporates 60's surf/psych, post-punk and alternative rock influences to craft buoyant, energetic albums. a really old, unreleased Together PANGEA song, from when they were just called Pangea
the riff was originally from an unreleased song called "ocean in your pocket" that was supposed to be on jelly jam but ended up being scrapped. they reworked the same riff into the song "rats" which is on non-stop paranoia

they were likely just trying to tone it down for this performance/interview. I can tell you from experience that their live shows are pretty wild and absolutely worth going to
its a studio show, they're mic'd and therefore not gonna be jumping around
