    Totally absurd! Othani received 700 Millions based on the strength of the market abroad and he's a pitcher as well. For Juan Soto to believe Scotty nonsense that he's worth 700 Millions. That is proposperous

      Soto is 26 and better hitter

    Baseball is a team sport, not an individual sport like boxing. SOTO is not worth that amount of money. That money should be allocated to re-sign ALONSO, sign CORBIN BURNES, ANTHONY SANTANDER and either TANNER SCOTT or JEFF HOFFMAN. Then trade for GARRET CROCHET.

      How come they haven’t done that yet and you trust them to do that the right way?

    The Mets will have the best offer. If the Yankees make an offer close to the Mets, Soto will be a Yankee. Why? The Mets are the Mets

      The Mets took the Dodgers to 6 games without Soto. They can use that argument on top of the biggest contract in sports.

      @@SuperCatacata yea and that was while the dodgers were banged up without 3 starting pitchers hahahaha. Grasping at straws?

      @@inbredhorsesThe Mets and the Yankees played against the exact same Dodgers team 😂
      Adding Soto to the mets looks like better competition than the Yankees.

    Yanks didnt want to pay Yamamoto $325 and the Dodgers did and the Yanks had to overpay CC and Cole to be here and Saski is a protege of Yamamoto so its not just West Coast.

      Yamamoto is too small and frail. His body will break down with injuries fast.

      @SteveDave211 8 дней назад

      @doublem1975x Tanaka blew his arm when he first got here. Yamamoto doesn't need to throw hard and he helped the Dodgers already win a WS abd gets Japanese money to help pay that contract.

    The Mets lost 4 blowout games in the NLCS
    The Yankees could have easily won every game

    Juan Soto should stay with the Yankees they have the one two punch meaning Soto and judge best in baseball

  • @doublem347
    @doublem347 9 дней назад +2

    If I'm reading Soto's mind (and him being a competitive person), between battling with the Dodgers as a Padre and then losing to them in the WS, I'm thinking he does NOT want to play for LA. That would be tantamount to "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!'

    • @AnthonyScarpa-er3sq

      He's coming across town to Flushing Queens , and the Mets are winning it next year

    • @SuperCatacata
      @SuperCatacata 9 дней назад

      Soto has already overcome LA back in 2019. He doesn't give a crap about any of that.
      He's not like the rest of this Yankees squad with no wins to back them up. He's going where the money is.

    Soto is not Judge and certainly not Ohtani. He does not merit their contracts. He is very good power hitter. He is not a good fielder or base runner. He is young (supposedly 26) but the long term contract he and his handler seek will tie up a teams finances for a decade and limit signing other players especially pitchers.

  • @juniegyllenhaal3937
    @juniegyllenhaal3937 9 дней назад

    He’s not better than Judge. not even close. His age and presence at the plate is the appeal. And still I pray my Mets sign him. But Judge at the age as a FA commands more
