Great video Tom. Keep up the great work. (Hope you and Andrew still keep in touch),
Breguet perfected the Tourbillon, which was designed by John Arnold and gifted to Breguet for taking Arnold's son as an apprentice.
I know it differently. Breguet invented it, while Arnold realised some parts of it. The patent is signed Abraham Louis Breguet.
Thanks GOD the old format is back and I'm back as well resubscribed 😊😊❤
Ok Tom this works, watch finder back in business
Love this. Bringing things back to this regular format is perfect, the one that made Watchfinder what it is. It’s truly the most sublime way of showcasing these amazing timepieces and everything the industry has to offer. And the writing, voice, and personality are all top notch with Tom. Glad he’s fully taken over now.
That joke at the end! 😂😂
Fine review Tom. Thanks!
Nice video. Is it my imagination or is the sweep on the seconds hand on that LUC really janky?
If it was 39 mm the LUC 1937 would be the perfect watch. I actually came (kinda) close to buying it but those extra 3 mm makes it one of the largest 42 mm watches I've ever tried on.
lol I like how he overlooked the Vacheron. Gorgeous watch though.
Excellent video. Very interesting and well made.
Great job Tom. All the very best.
Do quartz watches have to tick once per second? Or could the second hand move 4 times per second like mechanical watches?
bulova accutron (but it reduces the battery life)
Yes, they can but it drains the battery.
@@chriss2122 Famous Bulova Precisionist caliber which can be found in many affordable models has 262kHz. Math is on you. :) Second hand is smooth like Spring Drive from Seiko.
@@Lee-pf2uv Not necessarily, mecaquartz is half mechanical nad half quartz. It's caliber for chronographs. But presicionist is only quartz.
I have an original timex Q from the seventies that my grandfather was wearing when he went to the hospital for the last time and it ticks at least three times a second, maybe four.
Great work, love the LUC
Oysterquartz is a killer watch hugely under appreciated in the past but very collectable now and I’m afraid that you can’t find a working example for just a few grand but rather 5plus
Because there's a ... well, because: hard to service, less spare parts than a De Dion-Bouton car, quite "fragile" compared to others and relatively rare (in good working conditions).
@@stupidocanerosaI’m afraid easiest watch to service, parts still available and mine is mark 1 from1978 - never stopped working in 45 years and by far the nicest day just design to date,as well as beautifully integrated bracelet that competes favorably to any
Great Video Tom! You are killing it, loving these new videos
Can you do a rev about king turtle by seiko
Fab video Tom, thanks for the watches and history lesson, really enjoyed it. The VC 1921 is a grail watch for me, but at the price it is I can only dream. Keep up the great work, awesome having you front the channel :)
Tom time again. Some absolute gems here.
A right arm version of that VC is my number one watch that I really want which I cannot afford. If only I didn't have to live anywhere or go anywhere, then I would totally pick one up.
Wish Bulova would do more with their precisionist/262khz movement.
I have a black squarish case bulova 262khz chronograph with a tenth of second subdial that I really like. It looks amazing. Only complaint is that the chrono minute subdial is 60 minutes instead of 30 so I need to put on my glasses to read it.
I‘d also add the Girard Perregaux Richeville 2710 or 2750
Remarkable prices for the look and value… just in case the Cartier Tortue appeals
This is a wonderful selection. Really. Great work Tom and the rest of the team
Timestamps plz! Great video❤ because i rewarch ur videos to refind stuff so timestamps get u more views. Without them i dont rewatch content
You can do it yourself, YKR?
Great list, great presentation, and highly enjoyable descriptions. Well done, Tom! Thanks for sharing.
Nice videography but chapter markers would be appreciated please 🙏 Also no rolex needs MORE attention
Good job buddy! Keep up the excellent work.
For an overlooked watch it still very expensive and the price for it i secondary market is to high, just my opinion
Datejust oysterquartz is just a tissot prx wtf
Do your homework, boy. The PRX came in 1978. This is from 1969.
Tom really hitting his stride - great energy in this narration
Ulysse Nardin San Marco GMT!
Bye Tom! Thanks!
I miss Andrew being a part of the crew…
nkuwan is best watch factory!!!
An excellent video 🎉🎉
Put the subtitles on and try not to laugh.
I believe the world's thinnest Tourbillon watch just went from Bulgari to Piaget, didn't it? Do your research!
Sorry guys, that Chopard at 2:05 has a second hand that stutters more than a cheap Miyota indirectly driven second hand 8215 that didn't pass under quality controls... The Bulgari one instead has a second hand that goes into resonance with the movement, with similar results. Well, at least that's a small seconds...
The winner is undobtably the V&C here.
Tommmmyyyyyy
I miss Andrew

@@KC-bv9kfNot quite the same .
Agreed. Both channels are lessened by the parting of ways.@@julienfroidevaux1143
Tissot PRX rippoff🤢
Released in 1969....probably the other way round I suggest
Great watch connoisseur here. 😂😂😂 The Tissot PRX came in 1978. At least do some research instead of "vomiting" nonsense...
@@stupidocanerosa Rolex snobs cant take an obvious joke 🤢
Super.oke.end.my.turbo.rolex
In Toronto canada I buy a super super clone I bring it to a rolex expert he say it was real rolex . Unbelievable. Your super clone look just like mine. You a expert but a regular person like me will never know. Imagine on nkuwan
