I hate this but it's so painfully true. I have so many ideas but thinking of the process of maybe having even the slightest chance of fucking up makes me recede from actually putting most of my creativity to 'create'. *Another motivational poster to add to the list*
I was actually looking for concept vs construct linked to research and your video, although related to the art world, makes it very clear. Thank you. It will also help with my love of procrastination, whilst seeking for perfection! Thank you, great video.
You are back!!!! Yay!! I always look forward to your channel! This was a really good art discussion topic Ive got several pieces that Ive started and never finished because I get the idea, "concept" in my head and I can never quite get it to that point many times I would just get frustrated and start a different project. The problem with that is Ive got like 10 or so digital paintings/ character designs that are not finished!
Great video. I was excited to see a new video by you, then disappointed to find out in the description that this was an old video you hadn't uploaded yet. I know you have a lot of things on your plate, but I really hope you find your way back to doing RUclips regularly. It really helps a lot. Good luck and thank you for all you've done.
so i'm searching the difference between a concept and a construct for my research paper but i never thought it would hit me this hard like rebel pixels hard.
Inspiring video that hit close to home for my current creative status. I'll try to stop being frustrated over not being able to make my magnum opus. Thanks, man!
You make a very good point. Id say instead of focusing on the end product even tho is may be flawed , You Do grow and learn as a creative and threw the process of creating, Even tho the Process may not be as glamorous , you learn new thing and hone the skill need to make your next project even better ^^ Im just say int not so much a versus situation but more of a tool set to move you threw your artistic Journey
This really hit close to home. I'm a guy of many hobbies, i'm pretty average at most of them, but when I go to finish something it always fails the vision in my head so I spit it out and never continue. Separating these two entities from each other (The Concept and Construct) has actually shown me my flaws.. I need to start working for the construct, not the concept like I always have been. The main grievance I still have though, is that i'm scared to let people see my construct if it doesn't live up to the vision, it always feels flawed. I don't know if that's a personal issue unrelated, or something in relation to the dichotomy between the concept and construct.
Is it better to fall in love and to get hurt or to never had loved in the the first place. You won’t know till you experience it. But what never happened ( finish this please)
I was searching your channel just a few hours ago and noticed your last video was 4 months ago. I was starting to think you abandoned your channel and all of a sudden you upload this. What are the odds?

Thank you. I've been struggling with this problem since I started trying to do digital art.
