Nobody has said it so I will. CAT is the only diesel engine that horsepower and torque are measured on the ground at the wheels. Cummins, Detroit, and every other engine is measured at the flywheel. And that makes a huge difference.
Wonder if it’s like our firetrucks, we had a tech go in and there was a setting for aggressive downshift and exhaust brake that wasn’t selectable on the dash
I’ve only owned a cat in my 37ft motorhome 300 hp 3126 they are great motors parts are expensive but I haven’t had anything else to compare with. I’m also cat fan since I operate cats every day in the dirt
Prevost with the Detroit series 60 has the most proven reliable miles on the road. Monaco was the only production coach to offer them. Their claim to fame is they are known to be the most balanced motor available in a DP. Cummins and CAT make great engines it’s about how they are maintained.
Eddie, I absolutely love your rv so much more...give me 500 hp Cummins any day over a kity kat....my semi I drive has a Cummins, and trust me I can leave em in the dust...you have a great setup...in fact when ur looking to sell it let me know, im interested...keep the shinny side up...:)
Just getting ready to watch video thinking…race them against one another!😂😂😂

Not sure but his exhaust brake is horrible
True test drive to the floor LOL
CAT is a good engine, no doubt. So good they don't sell them anymore😂 J/K
CAT C15 6NZ is the best if you ask me. The MBN version is good too. But nothing will beat a C16 600 HP.

I've driven Cat's Cummins and Detroit's, cats like to stay low in the rpm where Cummins like to stay mid to high and Detroit's like low to mid
A Jake brake is an compression or engine brake and works better than an exhaust brake. I bet that C9 has an exhaust brake.
If it ain’t a CAT, it’s a DOG
Chassis weight makes a big difference
Thanks Eddie question how much is insurance for a rig like yours or this one on a monthly basics? Smog exempt if it’s an RV ? Thanks
That’s all going to depend on company and the persons driving record
Missing those ram videos.
Cat is long gone

Where is your seatbelt? 🚔 😮
You couldn't give me a brand new cummins for free.
I would take it and swap a 12v in it and some idiot would buy the old motor and trans for a good 15k
What price range are these two
MH,s?
In the marine world they’re both a pain in the ass! Cummins has a good market but cat has more of a hi performance market and bigger vessels.
Sup eddie
Would that not be an Engine Brake instead of Exhaust?
