Probably was shorter because this was not even remotely balanced as a match. In fact I think they didn't even mention Misakas best feats in the light novel. I know Killua and love HunterxHunter but Killua never stood a chance. Like out of 100 battles he would probbably win 3-4 times. But from the collection of people they wanted to pit him against, this was probably the best match up.
Of course this Death Battle was quick; one of them can move light speed after all! No, that sword does NOT look like an umbrella! I strongly recommend watching Lilo & Stitch before the next Death Battle because he is not one to be underestimated.
Kind of an odd matchup I agree that in terms of raw attack power Misaka is the clear winner but with his crazy assassin training Killua should be able to catch her off guard and kill her before she realizes what is happening. Also for anyone wondering why Touma was able to beat Misaka it's because Touma's power is turning off other people's powers.
Misaka has faced a Saint with exceptional physical abilities and combat skills before, and she was able to react to superhuman speed attacks. However, it would indeed be disadvantageous for her if Killua managed to get close to her body.
They basically mentioned this, that if Killua got close she would be in trouble, but they also mentioned that Misaka was fast enough to easily keep track of Killua, powerful enough to quickly overpower him, and smart enough to figure out Killua's strategy and stop it completely by just creating a giant mech (which Killua literally had no counter against.)
I hope Accelerator gets a death battle too. Misaka is strong but she can't even touch Accelerator. She's ranked as the 3rd strongest epser but Accelerator is the number 1 strongest esper in academy city. Maybe even the world. His ability to control vectors makes him untouchable. Almost that is there are ways to get around his powers though.
Honestly, I don't think Accelerator is a good fit for Death Battle. As you said, he's hax. So either his opponent has a way around that hax - in which case Accelerator would almost certainly die since he's a squishy human without it - or they don't, in which case they'll kill themselves with their own attacks without being able to do anything. In both cases, probably not great for the spectacle.
Also Misaka isn't 3rd strongest Esper. Gunha (the 7th) is actually way stronger than Misaka considering he caught her railgun with his teeth and manage to give a decent fight against Ollerus. The Esper are based on their usefulness to Aleister
@@SayMyName504 Her Railgun isn't her strongest move though, it's the move she uses when she wants to limit collateral damage because the coin burns up before it gets too far. I think she'd find a way to outsmart Gunha with the sheer versatility of her powers.
@@theblasblas I know her Railgun isn't her strongest. But Gunha's ability is something that Misaka can't face against, because that guy literally can do everything because of guts. Gunha is more versatility, faster and destructive than Misaka and the only bad thing about him is not being as smart as other 6. Misaka admit that she would have lost a fight against Gunha in Fanfare if him decided to go offensive while Gunha said that he would lost the game if the fight goes on. (Gunha was talking about the “game” they were playing where Gunha wasn’t allowed to attack.) Basically Gunha is Misaka's Versatility + Mugino's Destructive Power + Accelerator's Speed + Mentally a Chuunibyou. During their fight Ollerus admit that Gunha will be more threating if he understand his power especially when Gunha still manage to tank Ollerus's attack.
Instead of this matchup, many people were wanting Killua other matchups. But the problem was considering with the situation now with Hunter Hunter, yeah. Hunter Hunter was going to be something bigger and Killua and the other characters were going to be more stronger and Powerful but because of the author chronic back problem, Hunter Hunter was somewhat in Hiatus for years really. And some say Hunter Hunter might as well been canceled before it really blasted off.

The magic side is a lot stronger than the science side in Toaru. This is no accident. Magic has existed for thousands of years (although technically it was created by people who tried imitating naturally created espers, as opposed to Academy city’s artificial espers), while the science side essentially began after ww2. To say that the science side’s leaders are playing catch up with the magic side is no joke. There are no level 6 espers (despite many attempts), while their magical equivelant, magic gods, have existed longer than history itself.
This season of death battle has been really hyped so far. And I hope and many other fans hope to see many fan favorite matchup that Death Battle will do. That being Eren Yeager Vs Ken Kaneki (Attack On Titan VS Tokyo Ghoul) Two Tragic Heroes in a world with the Human are NOT at the top of the food chain where Humans can get eaten by the monsters living in their worlds. (Titans/Ghouls) And get powers of said monsters. Or Joker VS Giorno Giovanna (Persona 5 VS Jojo's Part 5) AKA the Matchup that so CONVOLUTED that NO ONE and I mean NO ONE can agree on who really wins. Both characters are Leaders of a band of misfits who fight against Corruptions of Society while the world see them as gangsters or criminals (Thieves/Mafia) And having insane BULLCRAP Reality Warping Powers that breaks the rule of nature. While having Supernatural Powers in their worlds (Stand/Persona) Or Yoshikage Kira VS Adachi Tohru (Jojo's Part 4 VS Persona 4) Two Mundane serial killer of a small tiny town where no one knows they have a serial killer on the loose while having connections of Supernatural Powers of their worlds. (Stand/Persona) One wished to be left in peace and have a quiet life while the other one is bored of life entirely and just want some fun and watch the world burn. Or Bowser VS Eggman (Mario VS Sonic) Two of Gaming's Most Iconic Villains of Everyone's Favorite Turtle Crushing Plumber & Favorite Blue Speedy Hedgehog. (Duhhhh.....) Or Ghost Rider VS Spawn (Marvel VS Dark Horse) Two Agents of Hell, Who can pretty much beat the shit out of everyone if they want to. Or Hellboy VS Nero (Dark Horse VS Devil May Cry) Both are Demon Hunters who find and kills demons to the protect the world, they live in.
A Certain Magical Index ..never heard of that before, interesting fight. Hunter x Hunter is has also been ranking high among shonen anime for many years, with One Piece, Dragonball, Naturto, Bleach, etc. But I haven't watched it either ^^
That’s one of the three series. I believe her series is Railgun or something. There’s a certain way to watch the whole thing because each one arcs with the other at some point.
@@wolfsun4022 Basically, you have To Aru Majutsu no Index / A Certain Magical Index (3 seasons), where Misaka is a reoccuring side character / supporting cast. Then there's To Aru Kagaku no Railgun / A Certain Scientific Railgun (3 seasons also), a spinoff where she's the main character. A bit later, we also got A Certain Scientific Accelerator (only one season, I think?). Haven't watched that one, so not sure if she appears in it - though it's almost certain her clones would. As far as the anime go, it's probably safer to watch it in release order, but I don't think there's anything wrong in simply watching one show, then the other. Heck, I know people that started with Railgun, and had no problem following along (it helps that the anime adaptation of Index is sometimes a bit spotty, while Railgun got a deluxe treatment).

They did a pretty poor job at explaining their analysis this time. Not that that changes the outcome though. The "lightspeed" feats for Misaka could reasonably be chalked up to unreliable narrators or exaggeration, but there are plenty of feats that still put at the very least her reaction speed at the same or an even greater level than what Killua can achieve: For one, she's able to notice, identify and react to particle beams from "Meltdowner", the 4th strongest Esper, _after_ they've already been shot. Meltdowner actively complains that she has no control over her beams the moment she lets them go, so to stay as focused as they do, these beams have to travel at high relativistic speeds. Her mental capacity is on par with a supercomputer too, as she's shown to hack into high security computer systems and retrieve top secret files in seconds using her powers. All she needs is _some_ level of connection to those. On one occasion she took over and remotely locked down a robotics genius' base of operations via the wireless control signal to the killbot she casually dismantled. These feats also show the minute control she has over her powers, not accidentally frying any of the delicate electronics. She regularly makes her move in split seconds when her opponents are distracted or overconfident. In an early instance she used the blinding flash from an explosion triggered near her to mask the fact that she pulled up a shield of reinforced concrete rubble around her to protect from the blast. She even had enough time to make it look like she'd actually been caught up in it, to lure in her opponent. Several opponents she has faced were faster than the eye can see too - the mentioned saint, Brunhild, even evading her enhanced senses. But she was still able to keep up thanks to her electromagnetic awareness, and despite being weaker in every respect, outplayed her long enough in the strategy department using her superior intellect. And Misaka has her own speed feats as well, like when she prevented an evil scientist from shooting himself by dashing across the room pretty much instantly. We actively get a shot of the other people being confused how she disappeared from one spot and appeared in another. And I believe we don't have to talk about the power output. She can casually fling around high-rise buildings, channel enough electricity to magnetize and control a building-sized iron sand golem, and burn the flesh off a giant monster hiding inside a perfectly isolating forcefield with the heat radiating off of her lightning alone...
The toaru verse is full of just flat broken characters both on the scientific side and magic side . Misaka isn't even in the top 30 even currently . Killua stood 0 chance they didn't even use current feats for her.
Also got some matchup that you can watch while you wait for Rocket VS Stitch. Deku VS Asta (My Hero Academia VS Black Clover) Both were born with no powers in a world where everyone have powers (Quirks/Mana) But eventually gain powers that makes them the strongest in their world (One For All/Anti-Magic) Thor VS Vegeta (Marvel VS Dragon Balls) Two Princes who have TOO much Pride in themselves but eventually got over it (Kinda Of) Tanjiro Kamado VS Jonathan Joestar (Demon Slayer VS Jojo) Two are Wholesome Gentle Good Boys and Anime Monster Hunter who kills Monster with the power of the sun (Tanjiro with Sun Breathing and Kills Demon/Jonathan with Hamon and Kills Vampires) Ghost Rider VS Lobo (Marvel VS DC) Two Relentless Bounty Hunter who are pretty much Unkillable by anyone.

Just saying... HunterxHunter might as well be the greatest Shonen anime of all time.... The other two that i consider to be on the same level are Full Metal Alchemist and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure... These 3 are Masterpieces. Just to put into perspective... Other Incredibly Popular Shonen like Naruto or One Piece would be in the "Excellent" category (really really good... But not Masterpieces), in my opinion of course.
15:40 The weakness of Misaka Mikoto is she can't kill anyone at her will. 😢 She's still a 14 year old girl While Killua who isn't far on the age, killing is his actual job. So if fight broke between 2, Misaka will probably fight to defend while Killua will go for critical. I think.😂
The Railgun exceeds speeds of Mach 3, even faster than Netero. Unless Killua's speed surpasses Netero's and his power is stronger than Meruem's, he won't be able to handle the Railgun, even if he moves at lightning speed First of all, it is impossible for Killua to avoid the super electromagnetic gun without using super speed at the beginning, and even catch it with one hand. Even if Killua opened the super fast, it would be difficult to avoid the super electromagnetic gun, let alone catch it with one hand Under normal circumstances, Misaka's winning ratio against Killua is 4:6. Although Misaka's lightning strike power and application are much stronger than Killua, but Killua combat experience and melee ability are even better. But if Mikoto is in Thor mode or A.A.A mode, then Killua will have no chance of winning
honestly the biggest controversy around this episode was the stuff happening on reddit. with one guy posting images of misaka that are not ok in the nicest way of putting it just because their preferred lost, or the fact that for this season all the battles are represented by symbols on a cipher that was shown in the season 10 trailer, and people can't figure out which one it represents yet still everyone has atleast one they are so sure on and refuse to hear any arguments for others. fun episode, the discussions about it tho are something else entirely.... also the next time is probably the one im most hype for this season and given gravity falls has representation later, that is saying something
since wen can misaka make a working copy of her outta sand? they never said shes done that tho, i get the whole killo is stronger bit but she never was said to do that.. ya she had clones but she never made clones with her powers also isnt there other nen that killua couldve harnessed like the protective part or the stealth part?
I knew killua was gonna lose but idk deep own i feel he should have won because killua touched misaka 3 times and watching hxh i feel after seeing how strong she was all his contact attacks would have been for a kill but instead he tossed her and punched her only going for the kill last second
It's the problem of having the animation divorced from the analysis. If we went just through the calcs, you're right, Kilua would win if he touches her. But of course, in a no-limit fight, she just incinerates him with her opening move, which would make for a pretty boring Death Battle, and for the sake of spectacle, Kilua needs to get in a few hits in order for things to not look too one-sided.
The actual animation in a Death Battle has never been more than spectacle to showcase all the powers talked about. It would never play out like this if you really could put the characters in the same setting. Think about the pokemon starter fight; they worked out a percentage rate where the other two could have won, depending on certain skills being used or who targets who first etc, so while it's not 100% certain the fight would play out that way, the animation shows a likely scenario of how it COULD go down.
he has the technuiqes to do so but not the stats she outclasses him in literally almost every stat by leaps and bounds considering shes faster and stronger then netero who is leagues beyond killua in both those stats
Both shows I think are in the category of Shonen. Hunter X Hunter being the usual action-packed, adventure kind. A Certain Magical Index/ A Certain Scientific Railgun, is something I’m not too familiar with and mostly just saw as like a harem-esque, science filled journey. If anyone can fill me more on the premise of both shows, that would be appreciated.
It's not considered a harem work. There are very few girls who have feelings for Touma, and most of the time they are not even by his side, especially during moments when he is in danger. This often makes Misaka, the unfortunate girl, feel guilty.
It's definitely a harem, some of the openings even tease this aspect. In the light novel it even goes to such a ridiculous degree when seen from another character's perspective as he sees the MC just pick up random girls as he walks through town, we never even get a name for them, it's just some random catgirl and a random older woman suddenly clinging to the MC.
hmmmm been a long time since I kept up with the Manga and Show, so I need to catch up, but I would expect Misaka to lose in this type of fight, she was always displayed to be a glass cannon and had zero agility.
While glass canon is certainly true, her agility is probably the one thing she has in spades - she even earned the nickname 'spider woman' in-universe.

@@kenshanparchman6838 In the Astral Buddy manga (chapter 12.5), Junko teaches Mikoto how to use her "physical strengthening" (rampage dress) after Mikoto asks her. Mikoto thinks that it could come in handy. After trying it she thinks the following: "It requires really fine control and a single mistake would mean a serious injury. I also don't like the ideia of controlling the 'flow of power'...Because it reminds me too much of that [Accelerator]. Although that's just a matter of my feelings." Taking a look at the "Vs Battles wiki", there's a part that says that Misaka has learned how to reproduce rampage dress, though her skill is currently far below Junko's (what's understandable, since it's a reproduction of an actual ability). How it is possible (still on the wiki): Rampage Dress works by Misaka manipulating the electrical signals in her cells to draw out further strength and surpass her physical limits. This allows her to strengthen her sense of smell by increasing the sensitivity of her olfactory cells or to perform superhuman manoeuvres by boosting her muscle cells. However, she can still harm herself if she pushes her body too much. In other words having it and using it are two different things

Lol I lo e your puppy. He keeps noming on his daddy's arm.
He isn't the strongest in the world tho, He probably in top 20 strongest character for now (Not in top 10).
(Gunha was talking about the “game” they were playing where Gunha wasn’t allowed to attack.)
Basically Gunha is Misaka's Versatility + Mugino's Destructive Power + Accelerator's Speed + Mentally a Chuunibyou.
And some say Hunter Hunter might as well been canceled before it really blasted off.
puppy be like " Mom Play with me "
I know the video mentioned it but idk if u guys noticed or didnt feel the need to comment on it but they showed that Misaka had a LVL 6 esper form, which she didnt use in the deathbattle...which means she had another ace up her sleeve to win the battle.

I recommend watching death battle goku black vs reverse flash it's very insane with the song they created
Perhaps you should do Optimus Prime vs Gundam next as curiosity. Also, this battle was great.
I hope, you gonna watch all this year's Death Battles.
Awww such a cute puppy
While having Supernatural Powers in their worlds (Stand/Persona)
Or Yoshikage Kira VS Adachi Tohru (Jojo's Part 4 VS Persona 4) Two Mundane serial killer of a small tiny town where no one knows they have a serial killer on the loose while having connections of Supernatural Powers of their worlds.
(Duhhhh.....)
Or Ghost Rider VS Spawn (Marvel VS Dark Horse) Two Agents of Hell, Who can pretty much beat the shit out of everyone if they want to.
Or Hellboy VS Nero (Dark Horse VS Devil May Cry) Both are Demon Hunters who find and kills demons to the protect the world, they live in.
Honestly I want Giorno Vs Touma Kamijou because I need him to get some more popularity

Index pretty high up there among Light Novel Community as it constantly being compared to One Piece in term of Quantity = Quality
@@wolfsun4022 Just read the index light novel, you'll have a better experience the anime got done so dirty. The railgun anime though is actually liked better and done better than its source material so watch that
Ghost Trick is out today. Reaction?
Oh and zone Minute Melee when Death Battle suggestions finally dry up.
Im looking forward to seeing your reactions to cute critters dying brutally
They did a pretty poor job at explaining their analysis this time. Not that that changes the outcome though.
The "lightspeed" feats for Misaka could reasonably be chalked up to unreliable narrators or exaggeration, but there are plenty of feats that still put at the very least her reaction speed at the same or an even greater level than what Killua can achieve:
For one, she's able to notice, identify and react to particle beams from "Meltdowner", the 4th strongest Esper, _after_ they've already been shot.
Alright! Ken getting just a little bit back on the board!
For a minute, I thought one of you was really, _really_ hungry because your puppy was just off-camera making playful growling noises.
The toaru verse is full of just flat broken characters both on the scientific side and magic side . Misaka isn't even in the top 30 even currently . Killua stood 0 chance they didn't even use current feats for her.
You should do the Yang VS Tifa Death Battle someday

Ghost Rider VS Lobo (Marvel VS DC) Two Relentless Bounty Hunter who are pretty much Unkillable by anyone.

The weakness of Misaka Mikoto is she can't kill anyone at her will. 😢
She's still a 14 year old girl
While Killua who isn't far on the age, killing is his actual job.
So if fight broke between 2, Misaka will probably fight to defend while Killua will go for critical.

Watch toaru its a good anime !
The Railgun exceeds speeds of Mach 3, even faster than Netero. Unless Killua's speed surpasses Netero's and his power is stronger than Meruem's, he won't be able to handle the Railgun, even if he moves at lightning speed
First of all, it is impossible for Killua to avoid the super electromagnetic gun without using super speed at the beginning, and even catch it with one hand.
Even if Killua opened the super fast, it would be difficult to avoid the super electromagnetic gun, let alone catch it with one hand
Under normal circumstances, Misaka's winning ratio against Killua is 4:6.
Although Misaka's lightning strike power and application are much stronger than Killua, but Killua combat experience and melee ability are even better.
But if Mikoto is in Thor mode or A.A.A mode, then Killua will have no chance of winning
In character she'd lose
Jobber will always remain jobber 🗿

Bethany just win lol don't not vote where you feel is right just kuz Ken agreed take that as confidence to double your bet
Kind of make sense that killua lost he's a assassin
honestly the biggest controversy around this episode was the stuff happening on reddit. with one guy posting images of misaka that are not ok in the nicest way of putting it just because their preferred lost, or the fact that for this season all the battles are represented by symbols on a cipher that was shown in the season 10 trailer, and people can't figure out which one it represents yet still everyone has atleast one they are so sure on and refuse to hear any arguments for others.
fun episode, the discussions about it tho are something else entirely.... also the next time is probably the one im most hype for this season and given gravity falls has representation later, that is saying something
🤩!!PUPPY!!🤩
Misaka is that girl. Easy pick her any time.
since wen can misaka make a working copy of her outta sand? they never said shes done that tho, i get the whole killo is stronger bit but she never was said to do that.. ya she had clones but she never made clones with her powers also isnt there other nen that killua couldve harnessed like the protective part or the stealth part?

Hunter X Hunter is one of the best anime of all time, I’d recommend watching videos about it
I knew killua was gonna lose but idk deep own i feel he should have won because killua touched misaka 3 times and watching hxh i feel after seeing how strong she was all his contact attacks would have been for a kill but instead he tossed her and punched her only going for the kill last second
But in the beginning, when Killua took the railgun one-handed for the first time, he was already dead.
Yeah no killua could kill her instantly without hesitation

A Certain Magical Index/ A Certain Scientific Railgun, is something I’m not too familiar with and mostly just saw as like a harem-esque, science filled journey. If anyone can fill me more on the premise of both shows, that would be appreciated.
not really a harem, and Misaka has some incredible feats, like her orbital satalite railgun blast.
@@Knight121198
Are you sure?
Because I thought there are a few more girls that had a thing for Touma?
@Knight121198 It's kinda like a harem but the guy feels like he doesn't deserve to be love and Touma(the protagonist) has a really deep story
LOLLL GLASS CANNON MY A$$
Honestly these are pretty predictable. Always the female characters win so Ken could rig the matches by always betting on them.
Not really. Women have lost to men before in these fights. Beerus vs Galaxia and Ryuko vs Shadow come to mind.
@@ramenbomberdeluxe4958 They haven't watched those have they? I can only recall one Dante vs Bayonetta and that's it. And still my point stands way more female characters win on death battle even if they are supposed to lose like the Thor vs Wonder Woman where they low balled Thor like crazy.

@@ramenbomberdeluxe4958 Sure you can have your preference. So can I. I find it hella boring and predictable as you see this all the time in mainstream media too.
Based on the abilities of these two characters, it is not surprising that Misaka would win, and it has nothing to do with her being female.
Who keeps coming up with these mismatches? 🙄
Its fine, the show runners are being biased again. Theyre ignoring LITERALLY IN THE SECOND ARC of the hunter x hunter series that kilikua can move TONS of force WITHOUT super powers and becomes insanely strong when you add in nen.
ANY punch that he landed on Mikasa should of ended it as a baseline human before she powered up.
She has rampage dress which boost durability. Besides, he's too slow to land a hit anyway.
@@kenshanparchman6838 what proof do you have that she has that durability or speed at her base state of power?
@@taipao6661 She dodged Mugino's meltdowner beams, attacks from Brunhild, and even her own attacks reflected back, some of which without even looking. All of these are hypersonic to light speed. She always has that speed.
As durability, it's *rampage dress* it's a technique. She can use it at any time. Or just block with iron sand. He can't really hurt her.
Although that's just a matter of my feelings."
Taking a look at the "Vs Battles wiki", there's a part that says that Misaka has learned how to reproduce rampage dress, though her skill is currently far below Junko's (what's understandable, since it's a reproduction of an actual ability).
@@kenshanparchman6838 also BULLSHIT on her always having that speed, everyone knows that her base physical abilities is only peak human and that's only at a teen level of it.
