The Wolf Book by Henry Chapman Mercer

A classic ghost story read by H. Washington Sawyer. Mercer was an archeologist, tile maker, a radical architect of huge cast-concrete castles, pioneering collector of American pre-industrial technology, and an eccentric cultural theorist. He was not really a writer of fiction, but at the end of his life he published one collection of supernatural stories. His book, November Night Tales, which includes the story The Wolf Book, was published in 1928.
