Spirit Driven, I agree that we should be selective and that we need to do a much better job with communication. When it comes to giving dating advice though, there's only so much I would heed from a single woman. For example, a single woman that gives advice on things to avoid/what not to do in a relationship/marriage is cool. I'd heed her advice, but when it comes to maintaining a long term relationship, I'd be wary. I personally prefer coupled that have been holding it down for 20+ years so I could learn/get advice on how to deal with issues that comes with longevity.

that "sounds good" but it is not logical. You go to elders for advice. You wouldn't get financial advice from someone who is broke. It just isn't logical. People say things like that to boost their confidence in the face of something they feel inadequate at.
Spirit Driven, so are you against marriage? You're addressing a married man by the way. People put up with BS in all relationships, so it's not like a non-traditional relationship is better, nor does it mean people vibrate on a higher frequency. Relationships depend on the people involved in them.
