lol Had me laughing and learning at the same time! I was able to get my MagicMirror up and running with your videos! You explain everything so well that kept me engaged with just enough detail! Hoping there are more vids to come!
😄 Happy to see you enjoy our stuff. I guarantee you we're hard at work with upcoming episodes. We never stopped really. Only reason we've had a pause in uploads is Project Aqua taking unexpected turns a hundred times. More on that very soon, and updated tutorials on Magic Mirror, Master Chang cameos etc. Thanks for hanging out at HSC! 🤗
Thank you, but not sure I follow your request. You should be able to run pretty much any module you want (save for a few) on EXT-Pages. Have you checked the wiki for information?
Your Project Elizabeth videos helped me a looooooooooottttttttt! Thanks a ton! I was wondering if you will explore the ability for users to setup a local server AI assistant or a Magic Mirror based on Android instead of linux. The google assistant and apps are much better integrated and easy to use there with no 3rd party dependencies.
Awesome Kushal, happy I could help 😊 The AI assistants are still too slow with large delays between commands and replies. I'm always keeping an eye out though. About Android MM 🤔 actually not a bad idea. I'll try to look into it, as soon as Project Aqua is done (soon enough) 😁
I am so glad I found this channel. its got some great content and I have been wanting to smart mirror with a raspberry pi that could house my other projects for the last few months. Then I saw your project Elizabeth and it inspired me to add mic for voice commands to the plans for it. Btw I saw your video about google assistant being dropped from SDKs and I was going to use this as well but python has a great deal of voice recognition software that you could replicate google assistant actions. I know you said you're not a programmer but it honestly does not seem to intensive to build. All in all amazing channel looking forward to seeing the next video
Haha merci Ali jan. Thank you for all your kind words. I'm happy to see we could inspire yet another project! Yes, there are plenty of voice assistant options, but unfortunately none as responsive and with as many possibilities as GA. I have a lot of cool things going on with GA I'd like to share on the channel, but since the future of GA is uncertain at this point I've put them on hold. Anyway, thanks for joining the journey. Chakerim 🤜🏼🤛🏼
@@HootieStyleChannel haha merci dadash. I thought I recognised the accent but wasn't sure lol. I completely get that GA has a lot of decent features but I have been exploring some of pythons libraries and API calls you can make to a home server network instead of relying on third party services. I completely understand if that sounds like an over-engineered solution (it is lmao) but that's the direction I am taking with my build and system this winter (I should note that not all of the system will be in the smart mirror). Again I love the channel, the jokes are top tier, it's informative and it has a lot of personality.
Hey dude I hope you're doing well. I am gonna start buying the parts for my smart mirror and I was going to buy a raspberry pi but since I saw you put a mini pc in yours and it can handle animations a lot better I want to do the same with an old laptop. Do you have an email or anything I can contact you /get advice?
Of course buddy! Hootiestyle@gmail.com, but I gotta tell you, time is something I'm really lacking so I might not be able to give you specific support or fast replies. Make sure you have an x64 cpu, install Ubuntu and the rest is pretty much the same :) The annoying part about laptops are the fans.. I'm also working on an episode about Rpi 5 and how it handles MM @ 4k 🤠👍
HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA 😂😂😂😂
This niche is way above my head but oh my God sensei wu needs to explain more tech to me. Subscribed.
Got me laughing hard 😂👍🏼 Welcome to HSC!
We want to see more of Master Chang!!!🫶🏼
😂😂 another great video, keep it up buddy!
Thanks dude! ❤

We need the Master Chang Pi Bot Project, if you know what I mean ;D.
😂 I'm just not sure RUclips would allow that project 😅
Great stuff as always, can you put up what modules work on EXT pages or an easy to tell which module control ed with or on EXT pages .
