We are not supposed to pass judgement nor critique any religious beliefs! Dr. Naik like to quote the Quran but he never does share with us his spiritual experiences. Belief without conviction is blind faith! Certitude can be only achieved with spiritual experiences. Assalamualikumussalam warahmatullah. I am from Bangladesh. I am 23 years old and I want to keep my hair long as per sunnah instructions. But my parents are constantly forcing me to cut my hair according to society standards, ka'jha which is also forbidden by Prophet Mohammad (Saw). I tried to make my parents understand that I am not doing it for myself but only for the sake of Allah and the love of His messenger but they don't want to listen. I am a student at an university and doing a part time and though people look at me in weird ways but my hair is not hampering my life in any ways. I even try talking with them but they only and only want me to cut my hair because of the society. Now, what should I do? Do I continue with my hair regardless their disagreement or should I cut my hair to abide by Prophet Mohammad (SAW) instructions about listening to my parents? But personally I like my looks on society standard haircuts but I am not doing that because only for the sake of Allah and I am ashamed of Him when I go to barbers. That's why I stopped getting haircuts.

Dr. Naik is no different from Christian Apologists. He absolutely has every right to defend Islam to which he belongs. Also Dr. Naik never shares his spiritual experiences with us other than quote the Quran as well as the Bible. God did not create humans to send them to hell fire- that is a doctrinal thing! Most Moslems believe also in the doctrine of pious men having sex in Paradise with myriad Virgins which is so ludicrous. What kind of Paradise is that?

Belief without conviction is wrong and unethical. Everything we believe must be on personal experiences and examination. Dr. Naik is no doubt an eloquent and an intelligent man. His talks are based solely on quoting the Quran and giving a commentary on Quranic Verses. Humanity needs in my view more than that...

But that wouldn’t convince you yet, wouldn‘t it. Well you could say, once you overgo any doubts or calamitys in ones heart, God will open your heart for real conviction, really it‘s true. That‘s why religious people (objectively speaking it’s mainly Muslim, no front to any other religion) wouldn’t even take 1 Million for committing a sin just because they are truly convinced and they know that God will give them something better in exchange. Christianity is not a religion and should never be considered one. Careful exegesis of the New Testament clearly shows that Jesus never intended to create a religion. Christianity only emerged about 200 years after the ascension. The entire teachings of Jesus can in fact be encapsulated by this one sentence: Love the Almighty God with your heart and soul and love your fellow humans like yourself. As for Islam the main issue for me is why do all Muslims pray to God in the Arabic language? Judging by the immense diversity seen in Humanity the idea of one religion for all is virtually impossible. We are spiritual beings having a human experience and I will always gravitate towards the message of Jesus! Love for God, for the Truth and last but not least love for Humankind...
In Islam it is permissible to marry up to 4 wives. Lets dive in and look at reality on the ground. In the United States only 0.5% White American earn $500, 000 a year. Even if US government allowed polygamy it still would be impossible for most men to marry more than 1 woman. In the black community the situation is so bad that polygamy is not feasible. If a Moslem woman aspires to marry a white male, who is 6 foot tall, athletic, handsome and earning $500, 000 per annum. Surely I would say to her good luck to that. Polygamy is not affordable in the Western Europe nor in the United States. Unless US government is ready to subsidize the cost of any man marrying more than one woman, which is very unlikely, then it is not feasible. Culturally speaking Western women would not agree to sharing their husbands and rightly so.
Secondly, the idea of sex in the afterlife is such a strange doctrine. If we look at the many narrations of Near Death Experiences, where people momentarily died for few minutes to 2 hours say. They all mentioned their Spirits leaving the physical bodies. Not one of them ever mentioned the possibility of sexual intercourse once they left the world of physicality behind.
There are even accounts of these individuals hearing otherworldly music when they briefly transitioned.
Again Christianity is not a religion. The word Christian is derived from the word "Christos" literally the Chosen or Anointed one. Under Emperor Nero of Rome, many followers of Jesus faced persecution and were slaughtered in the thousands. These followers were called Christians. They were tortured and thrown to the lions but they remained steadfast and courageous. They showed no hatred or anger towards the enemy. This is the main reason I am drawn to Christianity. May Allah forgive us all for He is Most Exalted, Most Merciful...
The Bible is considered to not be fully credible because it was written in it's original language Aramaic then translated to 3or more languages after that, this process caused lots of changes in the scripture.
Quran was revealed in Arabic in an oral form, Arabic is a language that a word can literally give u multiple meaning and it still makes sense. We Muslim read in Arabic because we don't want the meaning to change when it's translated to English, that doesn't mean it can't be read in another language, we have the English Quran, just that the English Quran won't give u the full explanation or meaning of the surat like the Arabic Quran does.
About the 4 wives issue, marry 2 or 4 wives in Islam is mandatory, it's a major sin to marry 2 wives without the necessary qualities like finance, care, maturity and lot and lot more. Unfortunately, some Muslim men just want to marry many wives for trophy sake, most of them don't think deep about it before doing it. It's a major sin to marry many wives without the necessary requirements, it's a sin that can lead to Jahanam , hell fire

My earlier comment is not a direct critique of Islam. I am after all a Muslim by birth as both My grandfather and father were Moslems. My take is you don't have to pray God in Arabic if it is not your native language. Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Now how many of us Christians follow this loftiest and most exalted of commandments. The answer is NONE including myself. To pray and love your enemies, to love unconditionally is a command from the Most High... The issue of Polygamy is irrelevant as it is impossible for a man to love multiple women the same way. I am perspicacious enough to understand the shortcomings of my fellow humankind. I consider myself first and foremost a follower of the teachings of Jesus but I refuse to be part of any Christian Sect or denominations. Love is quintessence of existence itself. Matthew 7:1-5 (KJV): "Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again. This verse clearly admonish Christians to not judge peoples of other faiths! God Alone is Holy and He Alone will judge humanity! As to the issue of Jesus' divinity I refuse to be drawn into it. My spiritual goal is to love God the Almighty with all heart and soul...
