That Grand AM would make a great commuter car. Give it a good tune up and she should be good to go. Give it a go!
I agree! Randy should definitely throw a bid on this car
Life is short. Get the Grand Am, Randy.
Seriously randy, this grand am is exactly what your channel was always about. That is a great car worth saving. Please buy it.
That grand am is pretty nice actually, for 500 bucks you can’t really lose to be honest
Agreed
Yes, give the Grand Am another chance at life. It deserves it.
Hey Randy, for $800. I think you should buy the Grand Am! I’ll bet you’re right about the Bad gas. Another thumbs up great to see your video! Hoping for another daily double later today. Also would like to see where those other bids went!
Yes we need that Grand Am on the channel!
I would definitely buy the Grand Am! Could definitely get some content out of it!
I’d definitely buy the grand am, when I was a teenager my late dad had a green 96 grand am with an automatic transmission and it was 1 of my favorite cars my dad had
Funny enough, I had a green 96 Grand Am as a teenager
My first car was a red 96 Grand Am 4 door.. had the 3100 in it. Got it for $500 from a coworker because it needed the torque converter replaced.. I put a used tranny in it from a salvage yard for $100 and it ran like a top with 225k miles.. i ran the shit out of that car and it never let me down. Wish I would've never gotten rid of it
Yes Randy do the deal on the Grand Am. Back in the day when these were running around they were popular. Wanted one myself. 😀👍
The Pontiac would be an awesome car to see be brought back. My grandmother had one. So yeah I want to see it on the channel
When my family and I moved to the US back in 2003, our family car was a 92 Grand AM, no airbags and manual windows. God I miss that car.
Randy I love your channel because you got love for all the older cars
That grand am would make great content man I love it
If all it takes is fresh fuel and filter to make it right, that Grand Am would be a decent deal.
Randy, I think for 800$ you should buy the Grand Am; I’ll bet you’re right about the Bad gas. Another thumbs up for great video! 🤠👌
Man that's some memories! My mom used to have a black 4 dr '93 Grand Am GT with the 3.3 v6.
Someone down on their luck would love a 93 Grand Am! Go for it!!
Its running on 3 cilinders. Replace the coil or injector and it will run nice. You should buy it!
My mother had one of these in the 90s! with the 3.1 v6 and it said ''SE Sports Sedan" on the B pillar. I liked the looks of this generation~ We also had the next gen body style before trading in for a Buick Rendezvous. Man my parents loved GM in the 90s and early 2000s.
Quad 4 was a good engine, low miles, straight body, Grand Am is worth saving.
And it’s a MANUAL!
That grand am would be a great car to save and get it back on the road I remember my aunt had a dark red one that she had for years
Seeing that Gran Am brought a smile to my face. I hope you bought it, give it new life. You can tell it’s bad has by the pinging noise, my 83 Regal used to do the same when I used the cheaper gas
If you look at the intake manifold, you will find what was called the flying w. That stood for Fort Wayne Foundry. I made that piece in the Columbia City location. Started working there in 88 after high-school. We also did the 3.1 water pump/ front cover. 4.3 intake and the beefier 4.3 Rochester intake. Plus parts for Saturn
That's cool to know that! You always hear about the engineers but never the builders.
@@Expatriate1977 it was were I learned to work hard but have fun. Dirty job but at the time paid well. Left it to save my marriage, worked 20 day straight with one day off. Ended up divorced not a year latter.
i would buy the grand am in a heartbeat love those old cars might check and make sure the cat hasnt rotted internally also some of the older quad motors had that issue and will make it run horribly all the way to overheating.
Love it ... Been watching you for a very long time keep up the good work .. my old man had a grand am like that but his was a auto that would have been fun with a five speed
The Grand Am looks like a good project
I'd say go for it on the Grand Am. Like you said, it could only be bad gas.
Hi Randy if keys keep going missing at copart Will they stop people going in to look
If you don't buy the grand am randy you're crazy. It is a Sharp looking 2 door with a manual 5 speed and spoiler and nice rims and the interior looks great. Please buy it. It would make a great addition to the channel
Love the Grand AM - that car brings back good memories! Would love to see it brought back to life,
I miss cars from the 90s.
Glad there’s a few still around.
Hey Randy! I vote you Give that Grand Am Quad Four another life.
A friend of mine is fixing his 2001 Z24 2.4L Chevy Cavalier, I think it's basically the same motor. He has the optional 4 speed A/T though
I remember my dad used to have one of those grand ams as a cheep vehicle that was just a vehicle. It was a 1992 in turquoise that he bought with the 4cyl for $1000 and had it for probably a few months until the wheel fell off causing him to hit the guard rail and total it.
That Grand Am deserves to live. Other than the paint it's in surprisingly good condition. I tend to like cars that are simple and honest, with manual transmissions and minimal power accessories - basically the kind of car that they don't make any longer. This should be some budding enthusiast's first car, or perhaps purchased by some old guy like me that complains about how things aren't as good as they used to be.
In addition, it would be nice to see you get your hands dirty again. It's not like you have to do any major work, but it's nice showing how to do routine maintenance and a bit of troubleshooting, something that would be appreciated by that budding enthusiast I mentioned earlier.
Run away from the Grand Am! I had a 1993 Grand Am for my daughter, replaced the head gasket. Traded it in 2008 and got $700 for it. Only had 75,000 miles and was perfect. Run away!!
1 of the 2 cars I learned to drive in was a Grand Am. An 89 Grand Am GT and an 85 lifted Bronco 2.
I have a GM radio for that Grandam sitting in my garage for years. Ill ship it to you at no cost if you buy the car.
I was starting to have Copart Walk Around withdrawal! That Grand Am still has life left in her!!
Lots of life. My friend had a 98 that got wrecked in an accident but with 208,000km it still ran like a champ and even the ac still worked. Had the 2.4L 4 cylinder.
Of course it's worth it !
No gadgets to go bad, low mileage so plenty of life left. And,and, good content for your channel. There was a time you would not hesitate to get this car.
I think you should buy the Pontiac Grand Am.
I bet you could make it look pretty nice with a little bit of work.
The grand am just has really old fuel in the tank,is all. Great car! I had 1 that was 1984. It had a metallic blue/purple mixed paint job with glitter in it.
I'd really enjoy watching the Grand am on the channel that's an oldie but goodie that needs to be saved
I bought a 95 Grand AM. What a money pit it was. Body and interior perfect. Junked it last week after dumping $2500 in it the when the auto trans went.
Stay away
That grand am is trying so hard to run! I'd give her a chance...
Yeah! I always like to see ultra cheap old cars on the channel. Kinda fun to play with. I'd absolutely love to see it.
Grab the Grand Am. Manual Five Speed, solid underneath, and good interior is reason enough.
For $500.00 I would buy the Grand Am and come back to pick it up with a 5 gallon can of good gas and pour it in and go for it! That car is nice inside! That shows someone took good care of it! I have a good feeling about that car!
That's a really clean car I'd definitely buy it and to top it off it's a Manuel. Hope to see more content on this grand am
I’ve actually driven one of those grand am’s many years ago lol….can’t go wrong for $500!
Definitely interested to see the Grand AM on the channel!
Grab that grand am up randy love it
Would love to see the Grand Am on the channel! I'd definitely pay $850 for it. I thought Kia and Hyundai were better until I got a 2016 Soul, was ok until around 70k miles (well cared for).
Big Al might like the Grand Am.
Hell... I'd like it
I'd buy the Grand AM. It's in great shape n honestly I don't think it would take much to get it running right.
*Get the Grand AM !!!* 🔥🔥🔥🔥💥💥💥
Would truly enjoy seeing you bring the grand am back to life
I have a 21 sonata base and I got 49 mpg when I drove up to NY from FL
Get that grand am! You’re the one to save it!
Cool first pick Randers. When my Bronco 2 got wrote off the insurance co rented me a 1993 Grand AM in white.
It was very new then in 1993 and turned heads with that front end. 😎👍🇨🇦
The Grand Am would be good for content. You could even do a giveaway when you are done with it.
You had one some time ago that ran like crap, just as the Grand Am is. You put fresh gas in it, drove for a while, and it cleared up and ran much better! Might be the case this time as well. If I recall correctly, it was a white one you had to do some front end work to?
For 500 bucks that lil Grand Am deserves a 2nd chance..it's in pretty good shape aside from the paint. Always liked those Grand Ams
Yes to the Grand Am! You never see one in that condition anymore!!
Pushing a vehicle at the ice intersection is gold.
Hi Randy if the keys keep going missing at copart will they stop people going in to look at the cars
Hyundai used to do a lifetime warranty on their hybrid batteries. Second owner was 10 years 100k. No sure what they offer now since their website only lists 2012-2019 model years with the lifetime warranty.
if i was closer, I would buy this in a minute, if that's the right Quad, that's a 180hp engine, for that year, it was awesome
Her would be interesting to see you work on the grand am, but in the end you have to ask yourself, will it make you money.
After buying it, it would need tires, likely paint, and whatever cost to get it running right.
Aside from the paint and a possible tune up and fresh gas that Grand Am is perfect! Clean well taken care of most of it's life u just don't seem em anymore and ESPECIALLY in that kinda shape.
Get it.I had a blue one automatic trans and it was a really nice car
i would love to see it on the channel i miss watching u working on cars Randy
Grand am would be cool to see on the channel.
Grand am is a classic ✔️💯
I want to see this grand am gem on the channel always love the content keep it up randy
Save it! Hard to find any gm with both the Quad4 and manual trans.
I like it I had a 96 or 97 an loved it I put some diggers on the front an climbed up hills in dead of winter that sn awd Subaru couldnt I loved it regrat getting rid of it
I would love to see this old school Pontiac on your channel
A Grand Am for less than a grand? With a little TLC it would be a good pickup!👍
Hello from Phoenix Arizona!🔥
Luv the motorcycle section Randy was kool stuff Ducati & Star bikes favorite .
I'd buy it just because of how solid the body is. No rust!!
Grand Am manual is such a cool little old car. How’s that C4 behind he Canyon?
I think it will be good to have on the channel
Tank clean , new fuel filter , clean the injectors , and a tune up , could run like a champ ( and make a good first car for someone )
Will octane booster help until the gas is replaced?
Grand AM would be a good buy honestly
the Grand dammit might be fun. Good Content anyway.
Do those carnage cars like the Altima sell? How much do they sell for who buys them and what do they do with them?
Dang, I would absolutely love that grand am, wish I could get a car like that to be honest.
Bye the Pontiac grand am I had like a late 80s blue a little smaller the that one great little car.
It would be cool to see that Grand Am on the channel!
buy it Randy, its a great deal for a non runner !!
I bought a 94 grand am se new. Drove it till 2010 320k miles.
Would love to see the grand am. I owned a 91 and my brother actually owned a 93. We loved them. Brings back memories seeing them again
I had a Pontiac Sunfire that was my first car well second car bought it brand new I’d say buy it
where is this copart yard located
My dad had an 89 grand am like it the thing had the 2.5 four tech iron duke engine
Water pump mounted backwards that sounds like something GM would do in the 90s. Hell maybe even today.🤣🤣
Yeah buy it 1993pontiac grand am let's just try it 🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🥰
It doesn't have to be "bad gasoline", that has broken down. It seems like it could also be water in the gas, that pouring some HEET in the tank could fix.
Good to see you again randy take care buddy
