Fishing AT Abbotsbury on the Chesil Beach - Lots of action at the Dragons Teeth on a lovely Oct day

- I fish close to the Dragons Teeth, at Abbotsbury on the Chesil Beach - Oct 9th 2023
Parking at the beach car park (£8 for 24 hrs) I walk up to the teeth, about 0.9 km from the car park. Weather conditions are warm (20 C) with no wind and a flat sea. Tides are very small, less than 1 m difference between low and high
Fishing with blow lug, king rag and a range of frozen baits (Squid, prawn, mackerel, blacks) I use a variety of end rigs and catch a variety of species . Size 1-2 and 1/0 pulley pennels account for most of the fish. As usual for me , much more action after dark
Very little tidal pull so 150 - 170 g leads were OK, including plain leads

Thanks for watching - Signs are up at the sub tropical gardens, just before Abbotsbury beach. Well worth a visit and hike up to the viewing point for a great panoramic view of the chesil beach / fleet

Nice one Alan, good to see a few fish about & a stunning looking Codling, interesting after dark again. Relaxing chilling vid as always. It was good weather Monday, I snuck out at midnight and tried Weymouth pier early hours of Tuesday for some squid but alas there were none about. Take it easy buddy 😎👍

Well done. You have the place to yourself😊 I can see that your videos are improving. The drone provides a good view. Wish i had the means to build a wooden walkway. Does your drone have cine mode? The music suits the venue..Tight lines.
