This is an amazing video of Barbados. I enjoyed it. I’m from Barbados, living in N.Y. I used to visit home, two or three times a year, but I haven’t been there in a few years. Looking at this documentary whet my appetite to visit. Many things looks the same, and at the same time there are so much more added attractions. Our food is great, our people are warm and friendly. Watching this video makes me feel like I’m home. Oystens, Baxters Rd, Swan Street, that drive down East Coast Rd. I remember that old windmill… brings back old sentiments. I’ve never seen roasted bread looks so delicious. I’m heading down there on my next trip. Thank you David for documenting our wonderful country. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️
Good Memorial Day morning David. I had seen the entire Barbados series before but when you put it in a documentary and in continuity, it just reminds everyone of what you did there. So much fun. Everything from the food to the drink to the beauty of the island/islands in the Caribbean are all natural. Can't ask for anything more. Have a blessed day.🙏✌️😇❤️🇹🇹🇨🇦
Hi David ...seen this Barbados series ...was Awesome...the foods ...beaches rums and lots of coconuts and esp seeing Rihanna's home ...she's made her country proud. Barbados seems like a very calm peaceful place for a vacation.....I'm viewing now and enjoying seeing the natural beauty of the island and may visit in the future. As always Thanks David and be safe on all your travels.Blessings and Peace.
Thank you David for all the lovely videos from all around the world it’s so wonderful to see all the amazing people things and cultures foods of all kinds it’s really amazing 👍👍
I was there for a month in march this year, a homestay in oistins, it was an awesome adventure. I had Teige's flying fish mmm. Shambhala homestay, Maxwell, Barbados. 🌞🌞🌞🌞
Hi David, you're a sterling human being my friend, just sterling! A wonderful video of a wonderful country & it's beautiful peoples, hosted by a wonderful man. Such wonderful viewing from start to finish!
wow David just WOW!!! one of the very RARE!!moments i wish i wasn't a vegan ahaha :))) delicioso my friend!1 that macaroni pie t I THINK ANYONE WATCHING THIS CAN BE AN UNOFFICIAL RUM EXPERT :))) I really believe guys like you and Mark Wiens are 2 of the luckiest men alive!!!! safe travels my friend, a milllion blessings and SELAM from Canada :)))) NUFF RESPECT TO YOU AND to CRAIG :)
David...it is a BIG NO NO ...to taste someone's cooking with the spoon that they are cooking with and then put the same spoon back into the pot. 😮😳 just put a little of the food into your hand and taste from your hand. PLEASE and thank you.
Now David, you should not have mentioned the other jersey was 500 US! There was no reason to do that and it made him feel small. It’s not important to show yourself as bigger or better..it’s always best to let the country your in to let them feel more important…keep it up, make the place your at feel most important! You do this often and makes them maybe feel out of place.
Fair enough Mary. I can respect that perspective and I agree with you. I mentioned it just because sometimes people who love Jersey's can be passionate about collector stuff, but I agree it probably sounded more like bragging in the end. I hope you have a blessed week and thank you for this wisdom.
@@Davidsbeenhere ..as for your reason in sharing the price, I get it, yep.. makes sense. We are even now. Lol I wasn’t thinking there David, so maybe as a general rule what I said makes sense. So i bow and apologize I send :)
I didn't take it as David was bragging about the $500. US Jersey. He said it was a gift. However I've been to Barbados and when Americans come to buy the prices go way up. So the next American buying a jersey may have to pay $1000. dollars in Barbados. They use to call it duty free prices last time I was in Barbados. The salesman was honest and liked David.
As I see it, David is a very respectful, kind, polite & humble man & is definitely not the type of person to show off, or big note, or play himself up in any way. Or even try to ever undermine, dismiss, or make anyone within their own country feel small, or uncomfortable, or feel lesser than him. If anything, on the complete contrary. David's undoubtedly very easy going, approachable, down to earth, open minded & again, very humble & certainly more so, than most people abound. The mere fact that he visits many countries, specifically countries that many globally may not even think about, or ever think to visit, says loads (all positive) about him as a human being. IMPO, I don't think he would ever do this & certainly not with such intent or force.
We are normal people with normal emotions we don't HAVE to smile for your entertainment 😂. You are visiting our home where we live lives and work jobs, we aren't on vacation like you, so you can't expect every local to put on a smile for tourists like some kind of character. But with that being said a lot of Bajans do smile, and are always happy to help a tourist out. If anything Barbados is known for the friendly vibes of the people.
Thank you for the trip to my dad's place of birth up til he was 25. I have a sister their still. The food looks delicious. I'm still waiting on the koko. I may have spelled it wrong. Hi Barbados😊.
Dear David, I've watched all your Bim videos before, however, I've recently returned from Barbados and I think you were being extra polite about the food. The people and place is well worth rhe trip though, so friendly and so scenic
Traveling or touring as well requires money. Whenever you get your wages, take out a saving account specially for visiting other countries.. Do your researches about the country you want to visit and when booking go for discounted tickets inclusive of a package like hotel, air fares, and half board meals. Because you would want to explore places and need to buy foods and drinks where you go. Always desire to travel and write down or type in places you want to go and get pics of the places ,Tell yourself nothing is impossible and believe me, you will eventually go places you never expected...Keep dreaming, and desiring...All the best Bro.

As a Jamaican, I think the Bajans have a really pretty accent. It’s so pleasing to the ear.
Interestingly enough, most Bajans (including myself) really like the Jamaican accent, so much so that many of us put on a fake Jamaican accent. 😊
Thank you🇧🇧

The patties are originally amaican food. If you go to Jamaica make sure you try their Tastee patties. I'm craving for some now
Where did you get that patties are originally American food?

Originally from Britain but Jamaica has its own version which is sumptuous.
