- Over the past few months The Inlet, located at 101 E Walnut Ave in North Wildwood has been going through a transformation.
The owners ripped out the entire downstairs bar and renovated the entire square space.
They boxed in the outdoor patio and added in a second bar.

I was down there yesterday for a tournament in atlantic city, i had to stop by wildwood because i go there all summer , it was great

Great job on showcasing the new renovations to the Inlet! WOW!!! Look at those prices on the menu... they're really trying to make up from the Pandemic. Those are Crazy Off The Wall Prices! That's like double the price of a normal place to get some food. I know we're down the shore, but damn, they're way overboard! WOW $5.50 for a Miller Lite Draft?!?!?! I can't justify paying $5.50 for a Miller Lite!
Moores Inlet bar,Red Garter saloon,Cozy Morleys,Joe Ellis fine dining,those were the days,even had a Woolworth store there. But the Hereford Inlet lighthouse was not working so they put up a light tower.And no Wawa or Mickey D's,D&L subs,Kathy's corner market was it.

Hi Joey, When it was Westy’s it was more of a beach bar. The atmosphere was more conducive to kicking back at the shore to hang out with friends on Olde New Jersey Avenue with a Wildwood pub feel.
but now there is Keenan's and Curran's is all new.. catering to that chill vibe. I think thats why the inlet upgraded.. to separate themselves from the other bars.

It's really amazing how much that part of N. Wildwood has evolved over the past 20-plus years. Used to be kinda rough 'n tumble over there back in the day.
Next Sunday I finally visit the Crusader, Macks, Sams, Quincys Lobster Rolls, Hot Spots, rides, beach, Sals, Marvis, Duffers.........
Wawa is always my first stop when returning to the island!
My daughter works at the Crusader coffee shop. The food is great there.

I have been going to the Crusader twice yearly since 1991.
I know these are new cafe owners but old owners had the place open until around 7pm. I miss that!
The cafe will be our first food after getting our room next Sunday. I almost always can get my key at 12 or 1 the latest, drop off bags and go eat on the Crusader deck.

We'll be in Avalon in a few weeks. Always make it down to see what's new. Impressive. Just need to see if we can find bikes for sale this year. Getting too old to walk to all the good spots. Love biking everywhere on the Island. U need a visit to Rick's Seafood. Best place for fresh seafood in my 20+ years of visiting
Well hopefully these people got their act together now because what I was there or trying to go there I should say in March I had some of the worst customer service over the phone I've ever encountered in my life. I had eaten there before and had that Fried Chicken Sandwich and it is fantastic but but it seems that they have certain rules for the public and certain rules for their Pals. Case in point I had called to see if a reservation was made and they said no in February.. yet when I got there I saw at least four tables with reserved signs on top of them. When I mentioned this when I called in March I was told again No Reservations yet when I mentioned the Reserve tags I saw the woman got pretty nasty and said I'll have to call you back. Which she never did of course. I'll give them one more try to see if they got their act together but I see no need to keep going there if I get the same problem with all the other great establishments down here

I grew up in NJ and frequently went to WildWood. For. Fun or fishing or just weekends stay and why are there no people of color? I’m baffled 🤔
