Thermal Expansion Demo: Bimetallic Strip
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 19 авг 2016
- This demonstration uses a bimetallic strip to illustrate the differences in the thermal expansion coefficients of different materials.
This demonstration was created at Utah State University by Professor Boyd F. Edwards, assisted by James Coburn (demonstration specialist), David Evans (videography), and Rebecca Whitney (closed captions), with support from Jan Sojka, Physics Department Head, and Robert Wagner, Executive Vice Provost and Dean of Academic and Instructional Services.
it's wonderful to have visual experimental experience of thermodynamic theories. thanks to people like you.
I fee l bad for how much propane he wasted in the beginning
What the hell bruhhh are you a psychopath?
Yeh
Ohh yes its really irritating
Mn to krra tha ki yhi se hath dalke usko bnd krdu
Imagine you saw this after the current gas price surges😂
Propane was not wasted in this video. Having the torch on throughout the video was more entertaining than the alternative.
Thanks for showing it!
Sir you are awesome 😊
Thank you sir
hmm why do use the gasoline before it starts
الاجانب يشرحون من كل قلبهم و بوضوح واختصار
Thanks
thanks
thanks so much for this
youre welcome mam
@@kaoltic2396he didn’t say that to you 💀
Sorry, wrong place, I’m supposed to be at the willne reddit video
Cool
How to buy it
nice
What application does this contraption have?
Analog thermostats use bimetallic strips to trigger whether the Air Conditioner turns on.
MCB , miniature circuit breakers
Can I use a blow dryer to heat metal to expand it?
not sure if that would be hot enough but you could probably use a candle flame or lighter. It will take longer to heat than the flame in this video
You cant, needed a flame for visible changes
thermal expansion of matter
Yeah me too
?
Wastage of gas video instead of bi metallic strip demo
K
does not explain why tho
@@AGFC2653 i alr figured it out but thx alot
@@AGFC2653 Why not linear expansion ?
why did you sigh at first? ARE YOU OKAY??? ARE YOU TIREDDDDD
for dummies should be the title. How the heck are these 2 pieces stuck together would be a useful question and he didn't even say what the other metal was. So this is how schools teach things these days, some dude considering himself superior dancing around a bent file by the looks of things!
speak faster and don't waste propane
The saddest person ever
make a video but dont know the metals??🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
What wasteful behavior! You could have light up the torch just moments before you conduct the experiment and not the entire 55 seconds while you are talking.
He sounds very nervous and over-pronounces things a lot. He needs training on how to present things, because he's not doing a good job at it.
Yea shut up atleast he is not a complainer like u
Be quiet. He is doing a fantastic job.
@@GlidyBun No thanks, I'll pass. But thank you for your kind offer. You're so sweet 😘
@DHEV EXPLORER Nah I'm good. But thanks for your concern.
let me see you do better
