So Karla wokr up and said "what insane thing can I do today". Don't know that the lot challenges did much, I think the game ai was so busy keeping up with babies it forgot about the lot challenges. 😂😂😂
My theory is that the game saw the then babies and thought "Whoa! That's challenging enough.", and, in Karla's words "Then, it f***ed off."

I saw the title and was like “has she lost her mind?!” I’m honestly surprised the lot challenges weren’t a bigger issue.
“I’m not doing a part 2. I’m trying this with infants.” Honestly I get the feeling the lot challenges wouldn’t kick in any more than they did with the babies so it doesn’t seem like it’d be that different of a video. Maybe you can visit her again when she’s dealing with ten teens and all the lot challenges. I get the feeling that between all the mood swings, puberty, and drama that Sims teens have and all the lot challenges that then the video would differ a lot.
Fun video, though! I hadn’t ever thought to combine different Sims challenges so this was interesting to see. You always come up with such interesting ideas for the Sims 4!
Hear me out… do a part two, but install Better Nanny by LittleMsSam and hire two of them to help her.
Leave all the lot challenges on, except off grid. You’ll have to deal with things breaking more then, and interacting with more objects will increase the likelihood of Creepy Crawlies spawning.

infants are too buggy in the sims 4. i could barely take care of 1 because my sims never did what i told her to queue with the infant
Idk why, but the zoom out on all like 12 bassinets made me choke LOL
Never before have i felt so much sympathy for a sim 😂
only you could put 10 bassinets in a room and make it look good
the reason nothing broke is bc every sim in the household needs to be sleeping at.... I think it's midnight, maybe 2am. Idk if the newborns count, but my sims keep such weird hrs most of the time, the gremlins trait challenge rarely activates if I have it on. Naomi barely got to sleep at all, she was probably never asleep at the proper moment.
I think you are right. I only used that trait once and went an entire Sim year without it activating, so I forgot about it. Poor Sim came home exhausted one night at just the right time to find EVERYTHING in the house was broken - 2 bathtubs, 2 showers, 2 toilets, 3 sinks, the stove, the fridge, microwave, coffee pot, TV, computer, and all the stereos broken. Not to mention the water heater and fuse box that then started a fire. It was a fun night....Never used that lot trait again! 🤣

Taking care of infants is a nightmare but you could get a nanny or other Sims to help.
Feeding toddlers is a breeze and once they're all children, you could sign them up for clubs so they're out for longer.
This is a great idea for a challenge, thank you!

But then u have to stop, order, stop, answer door, accept it then eat. Takes longer I think
Hiring a chef it's easier, they make multiple meals for $100
No phone service when you're off the grid. 😆

Alot of the lot challenges happen when all the sims are sleeping, since there was never a point when everyone was asleep, nothing happened. Also, I've found that the lot challenges like earthquake and volcano seem to be fewer the more sims in the household. Probably takes too much processing power or something.
This mum decided to number her children. It's like a spin-off fanfiction of Umbrella Academy except there's the mum and more than seven babies. Maybe she's one of the 43 mothers and she got more than 1 Marigold?
Did a similar challenge to this myself not long ago where I "blessed" Bob and Eliza with 6 mini Pancakes 😂. I played with them all the through to young adulthood, randomising traits as I went. The infant stage was an actual nightmare, and they weren't much better as toddlers 😅, but most of them mellowed out as kids... Then the teen years hit 😱
I could not even do this without the lot challenges.. 😂

FYI you can move bassinets (with babies in them) in build mode- they are treated as regular furniture. So you could fix the order of the sims so it goes 1-10.

Hahaha this reminds me of my childhood back in the 90s. Grandma’s church member, at that time, was in her mid 40s and had 12 kids in a 3 bedroom apt. Oldest was 16 and youngest was 2 months 😅😅😅😅

I’ve tried playing with 20 babies before -and I sympathise 😂It’s hard work and I’ve had sims die under the strain 🤦🏻♀️😂Lack of food,lack of sleep and that noise would drive anyone nuts 😂

You should do this again with a max skill parenting sim instead and have full autonomy on and just watch your sims flounder. I’d love to see if they’d be able to keep the babies without any involvement from you

I did an occult baby challenge. Only 4 babies and I was overwhelmed with 2 parents.
I'm 7 mins in and the babies have still not been put in numerical order and it's killing me 😂

Does anybody know how many babies you can have at once in the Sims? It’s only twins and triplets right? They don’t have like quintuplets? I’m just asking because I googled it and couldn’t find an answer, that popped up you can use cheats to make your Sim give birth to seven babies at once. Answers my question, but I mean naturally not with cheats.
