That must be a diesel truck above the axle to blow up the numbers like that. I have the 6 car and I’ve never been that high on the drives. My highest was 14,200 on drives.
@@brotransportllc8068 yeah but 15k axles doesn’t replace the fact that the GCWR of that truck is around 43k and some change so your “legally” 5k lbs over weight which around here, is definitely out of service and possibly a lot worse. Heard of dot giving a 1k lb allowance for being over weight, and the first thing they check is tires to make sure they are rated to support the over weight, and if not, out of service.
@@MonsterTruckingCo. DOT does not look at the HOTSHOT like the big SEMI they go by the tire Rating. We pass 3 scales every day and have never had a issue. with the SEMI I got a overweight violation my First day that I used it.
We run Oregon Washington every day get dot inspections and have pass all of them never had a violation for that .it’s 100% legal out here . If you know Washington state there anal out here .
My thinking is just over weight in general. That truck has a GCWR of about 43.5k and he’s scaling 48k…. Last I new, and maybe I’m wrong, but you can’t weigh more than the manufacturers gross combination weight rating.
Dot officers don't have a magic book with GCWR listed in them since every single truck is different. Lets not forget its manufactures "suggested" rating. They go by tire ratings your allowed up to 20k on a single axle as long as your tires are good for it and your registered for the weight. I ran a 6 car set up with a 5500 tagged for 50k for years and never had a single issue at scales. @@MonsterTruckingCo.
Is it make sense up grade for hankook tires ? In your opinion ez 4 vs infinity g500 make sense pay double for one car more ? Thanks happy holidays

How are you scaling 48k, when that truck only has a GCWR of about 43.5k?
Trailer has 15k axles
