And a fine example, the sun country 5 car drop deck states on the vin sticker to not load more than 13,000 lb,.. that’s just insane. Why would anyone buy a $56,000 sun country 5 car drop deck to just be put out of business? It’s a marketing scheme. Either I’m totally wrong and am missing something or thr facts are in plain sight.

I don’t understand how this is legal with a gvwr of 25,000 or even 30,000. There’s a trooper in Ehrenberg AZ that made our company unhook our low profile 53ft trailer with a gvwr of 18,000.lb. Hooked up we were at 12,600lb on the trailer axles. He surfed the internet for 45 minutes looking for our trailer lol. Unhooked the trailer was just over 19,000lb. If they are doing this, a ticket for what you got would bankrupt your business. That would put your trailer weight with 6 cars around 36,000 pounds. Even possible jail time being 10k over weight. This is why I don’t understand how technically these are advertised for 6 cars with such a low gvwr.

What is the GVWR a on that trailer you have at least 20 k in car weight there trailer has to weigh at least 8-9 k is this trailer rated for 30 k ??
