Funny! As a non-native English speaker, I found the same formulation quite arrogant. Since the adults were visiting the girl in her country, I think it would have been more appropriate to say that THEY didn't speak HER language.

I'm in tears watching this I'm from Ethiopia and I've heard so much bad news about adoption. When i saw the new law i was very happy but when i see this beautiful heart couple it melt my heart congratulations God bless your family please.
Alot of kids have parents and loving families. Some families are told that they're kids have an opportunity to go to America for the education and they will be back when it's not true. The agencies and some orphanages work together to basically steal children and sell them to the highest bidder.
