I tried to loosen my new fox podium's locking nut with a spanner, yeah almost stripped them. Had to use cold chisle and hammer time. Crazy how tight those were on there!!! BRAND FREAKING NEW TOO! I use a spanner wrench after I took the springs off for powdercoating, to re tighten pre load and locking ring. Riding in Iron county, WI this weekend!
Just watched the World of X Games on ABC, in particular the "2018 UTV World Championships". I have been watching you cool dudes since the beginning and to see and hear your names come up with that generous check you donated to the kids pit crew challenge on ABC was awesome. So proud of you guys for doing what you love and sharing it with all of us. I know I speak for all the SXSBlog fans when I send a big shout out and a thank you. If you take two pieces of sheet metal and put grease between. Then set you tires on them it should slide enough to take the scrub out of the tires. It helps out a lot when doing garage alignments.
Wedding in Pa! That my state...lol. Love the sway bar mod! Could see that being something guys who bounce back and forth between different types of riding could really find usefully. Looking forward to the race vid!
You guys should check out coral pink sand dunes in Utah. I just got back from a 10 day trip there. Tons of fun fast curvy trails. Nice dunes and beautiful views.
Need a video on how to set up stock x3 suspension for trail riding lol can’t figure that crap out I still have same setup that it came out with factory is 18 x3 xrs smart lock if anyone knows best setting reply please do a lot of hill climbing on trail rides also
Nick was nice enough to take me for a rip of a life time around the Full Throttle track! Even tuned down.....its ridiculous! Made my X3 feel like a 1989 Honda Pilot! Thanks Again!
I feel like that sway needs to get put aside after the race. And new one put on for safety sake. We don't need a rolled over x3 due to a snapped away bar
You were absolutely on rails with that thing. It was amazing watching you rip those corners. I knew I shouldn't have been lazy on adjusting mine, but well you know what happen. Good racing Nick. See you guys in a few weeks.
You can take a piece of string and run it from the front of the front tire down to the back of the back tire and it will show you exactly how far the tires are toed in or out. Just make sure the distance between the string and the side wall of the tire matches the front and the back
Being that much lower really should make it a Beast in the corners I've got a question that I should've asked a while back but it just hit me to ask what made y'all decide on the HighLifter Ranger crew over say the CanAm S3 Defender crew
Sounds like maybe aaron a dozer Keith might have a little more competition from the blog this weekend? Sous had those guys shook lol I'd love to see the whole gang out there. Keep up the work buds.
Short course relatively local with a couple of jumps. Seems pretty much a done deal. As always cant wait for the content and I'm sure I'm not alone. Always a good watch

Always the first to watch the whole episode 🤘😁 fun modding fellas 👌 go kick some ass Lenardo 🍀🏁 looking forward to seeing a turba S getting slammed down to see a comparison 🍻have a blast at the wedding Dougie
what we do in racing to set tow is set a long straight edge on a 2x4 standing against the outside of tire so it goes past the tire on both sides and is 3 1/2 inches high.(so 2x4 standing 3 1/2 high an straight edge on top of that against the outside of the tire). do this on both sides then you pull a measurement from the front an rear of the tire. if the front is say 87 inches an the rear is 85 inches, your towed out cause the front is greater than the rear. if you should have any questions e mail me @ hogriderchris@aol.com love the vids, keep em coming
In honor or hunting season....any bucks in that group?!?!?! LOL Set up is pretty slick, just thinking about this yesterday after watching C Wellers car on TV.
i would like to know on your parts site what is the diffrents on the 5 pointe harness one is 119.00 or the other is 109.00 with or without pads, io left a email on the site no email so let me knows so i can order 2 belts
How about a "live garage episode " ? Nick on the laptop, Doug wrenching and Sous, well I hope he's ok, we read on the onion about his panini potato ole accident.

I’m learning a lot from u guys, thank u!!!! Where can I get a sxsblog hat and shirt? Need to show my support for ya guys! And u guys need to get over here to the Oregon Dunes!
SXSBlog.com Right on! Hope when ya do we can hook up and all ride! Getting my Rzr xp 4 turbo S any day now. And we have a 2018 Xp 4 turbo 1000. Plus 64 acres to race around. And many BLM Trails, Let’s tear it up!!

Maybe you should make ur own utv channel showing people how to do it the right way. They say theyre not experts and are changing it to race track settings for fun. Or did i miss where they're in a championship points chase for a $100k. Also suspension setups are custom for each driver preference or each individual track. For you to come and say stuff and worded like u did is ignorant and unitelligent . I never comment anything but its time to discredit the discreditors who misinterpret partial information given

Sweet,I just watched the race and you took it to them guys, great pre race set up
i am Canadian, 53 yrs old....metric came in when i was 7yrs old. great vid as usual.
You guys should consider a live feed Q&A.
We've been trying to get a live podcast going but work schedules have made it really tough lately. Soon!
If you take two pieces of sheet metal and put grease between. Then set you tires on them it should slide enough to take the scrub out of the tires. It helps out a lot when doing garage alignments.
Smaert!
Garbage bags under the tires work good too
the Dougster is a smart guy! Everybody needs a Doug in their lives
Are you guys doing anything next to the machines like light bars or lighted whips for the Glamis trip?
We're gonna have some improved lighting for sure!
So this goes out to the guys at Baja Design Beastmode needs a full hookup on some lights.
I used a ratchet strap to pull the spring together and then you can move the adjusters by hand. Just a thought.
canada was there too. made for some cool caliber spes lol. Doug do you not have an entire set of metric tools?

Just start soft and if it doesnt work switch it up
It worked very well on the track. Seen that firsthand
Cant wait to see the raceday at full throttle track!!! Should be good times!
Nick was nice enough to take me for a rip of a life time around the Full Throttle track! Even tuned down.....its ridiculous! Made my X3 feel like a 1989 Honda Pilot! Thanks Again!
Was fun!
Knew it, lol good stuff guys love the colabs
Good stuff.. Have you guys done this for the rzr? Would it be the same?
Not yet but we will. It absolutely would achieve the same thing.
You need to gusset the front and rear of beast mode. The holes in the frame mounting points get egged out.
Oh it's gusseted!
@@SXSBlog Did you guys do a video on it?
I feel like that sway needs to get put aside after the race. And new one put on for safety sake. We don't need a rolled over x3 due to a snapped away bar
lol, you're probably not wrong
Using grease plates would help the alignment process.
You were absolutely on rails with that thing. It was amazing watching you rip those corners. I knew I shouldn't have been lazy on adjusting mine, but well you know what happen. Good racing Nick. See you guys in a few weeks.
Thanks Kyle! Looking forward to sharing some beers.
Faster rebound in the front and slower in the rear will make it pop and jump flatter... while your at it (if not too late).
"I'm not a tape measure expert" 😂🤣
You guys should do a video on buying new vs buying used!!
Good Unit
You can take a piece of string and run it from the front of the front tire down to the back of the back tire and it will show you exactly how far the tires are toed in or out. Just make sure the distance between the string and the side wall of the tire matches the front and the back
Another great video. Tnx for explaining specifics about the shock adjustments.
You'll have to go over that toe in part again and angle the camera away from the fridge. I wasn't paying attention.
That is pretty much how low we run XC race cars. Low means you can corner harder.
Like every video i look forward to the next one. Keep up the good work.
Doug's not a tapemeasureologist
Son of a bitch. That’s one nice sausage stiffener you got there. You guys should look at some limiting straps.
Never complimented the intro to sxs blog but it's actually really good, jus saying good job guy's
Thank you Mr. Broomstick
Being that much lower really should make it a Beast in the corners I've got a question that I should've asked a while back but it just hit me to ask what made y'all decide on the HighLifter Ranger crew over say the CanAm S3 Defender crew
We needed a rig to comfortably seat 6 people and and the Ranger was the only decent choice at the time
SXSBlog.com I know the Defender is not the most comfortable one that sits 6 the XMR model is showing that the front seats look to be better
Can't wait to see Lenardo race that thing finally! Maybe it is time for beast mode to go into..Baja Mode?? Or..or here me out...Mint Mode??
I like the way you think.
Its got the B**l's to do it for sure! Ill do pre-run duties if it ever comes down to it!!!!
Good luck at the races
UTV takeover is in Waynoka OK this weekend, it wouldnt suck if you guys showed!
Great stuff men and can't wait for the race... kick some ass Nick🖒📿
They gotta change the name of WD-40 to "Doug-a-B-40"
W-Doug-40, hahahaha

anybody find Doug's missing lense yet
It's chillin on a dirt road in Baja
Cool. I will be waiting for the race video.
Your ride height is higher due to your 32" tires giving you the extra lift.
indeed.

New highlifter axles in the boxes?
Yep, going in here to replace the stockers soon
Nick, what happened to your old side by side?
The Wildcat(s)? Sold em!

I spy another nitrous bottle mount, and a fuel cell like the one Steve has in the background. Is that his, or is it another one for different unit?
Steve just had his apart to finish painting some brackets
Does that make the bike wider as well?
No.

nope, still on gasolina

U should get a tire career for a spair
The front doesn’t have tender spring and the rear middle isn’t a tender spring either, they’re the softer spring of the dual rates
