There’s a reason why this is my favorite superhero movie. It does such a good job of portraying the level of sacrifice it takes to put on the mask and live a selfless life. Such an amazing film with so much heart.

The original Spider-Man films had heart and emotional depth. His character was grounded in human frailties and doubts. That's why they were so relatable to the viewers. We root for Spider-Man and wish him well. The audience is invested in his life and well being.
Marvel lost their way imo and went in a different direction.

And not just the big things, 95% of the scenes of Peter trying grab or get anything he wants is just taken from him from pure bad luck or a 🗑 person 😂 even in the small scenes he can’t catch a break. And so much of it happens on the worst night of his life when he gets slapped by Harry and so on. Everything went wrong at that place, and then to top it all off he has to take a picture as it’s his job, of the girl he loves with Jameson’s son while being shouted at 😂 you feel bad for him, but at the same time it’s just such great writing lol

When Bruce Campbell's character (the theatre usher) says "it helps maintain the illusion", it was supposed to hint at him playing Mysterio in the canceled Spider-Man 4. Spiderman 2 is such a outstanding and incredible sequel on so many levels due to it's witty and clever dialogue and humor, comedic moments, emotional resonance, action sequences, performance's by the cast, and motivational, powerful, and inspirational life messages. Tobey Maguire did a phenomenal and spectacular job portraying Peter Parker/ Spiderman as he put tons of emotion and depth into his role. It was decent. To this day it still gives me chills and goosebumps 😱😰 as it was just a really perfect, epic, and satisfying way to end the movie and I still watch it and I consider it a classic. In the United States, there was a Spider-Man cartoon that aired from 1967-1970. It had the iconic "Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does whatever a spider can..." theme song. I grew up watching the show in syndication. I was born in 1967, but was too young to watch it when it was first on. When Spider-Man was shown swinging through the city, he would be shown up high, often swinging over the top of buildings, and I always used to wonder what his webs were attached to.
Before you watch Spider-Man: No Way Home, you need to watch Spider-Man 3, and The Amazing Spider-Man 1 & 2. Also, it wouldn't be a bad idea to watch both Venom movies as well. Venom is a Spider-Man character, but the movies were made by a different studio. However, they do have a small connection to the MCU.

Aunt May defiantly knows you could see it on her face when she was telling Peter about heroes. She almost seem to be assuring him it was okay to be Spider-Man that things would be alright.
Now, Spider-Man 3, well it has its good part you will be laughing at it, but…the first version of Venom is very much like Deadpool in Origins Wolverine. They are the characters but they are not true to the characters. Rough drafts to speak, though considering Venom’s powers and body it may have been best to wait 14 years for CGI to reach a point that venom could be as fabulous as he was in his solo film. Pool boy- better writers and director and a fan who wants his comic doppelgänger to be perfect was what lead to the Deadpool films.
Oh speaking of 2000 superheroes. I highly HIGHLY recommend watching the movie Daredevil before watching No Way Home. You could watch an episode or two of the tv show Daredevil but dont have to watch the whole series. But the NWH movie pays homage to both, the movie has a nod to two characters and an actor from it, the tv show homage is to the new actor for Daredevil. Those who seen just the tv show know the actor and new version, but those who’ve seen the movie and show can get a real laugh.

Part of what makes this sequence so.powerful is its "Christ" symbolism. After many desperate attempts to stop the train, Spider-Man's arms finally become ourstretched like those of Christ on the cross, as he is literally acting as a savior for the people on the train. When the passengers pass his body back through the car, they do so reverently, as if handling the body of a saint, while music plays that sounds like something out of a Biblical epic.

*EDIT:* 24:59 It lessens the drama, but Peter should've told Harry, _"Of course I'm not Spider-Man, ya dope! Doc Ock has MJ! Spider-Man's gone, I put this on to save her!"_
