@@ItsTanuki0_Clockwhats wrong with the stickers? Are you suggesting that big brothers stickers are bad? YOU are the one going in the book of vengeance buddy
So, for the random context: The pirate/sea theming is actually just coincidental to the location of this specific encounter and not actually a regular thing for the Middle Finger. The Middle itself is one of 5 major crime syndicates that are spread throughout the entirety of The City. of the 5 fingers, and what little we know, the middle is known for 3 defining features (sort of 4). 1. Their distinct magical tattoos that grant them power. 2. Their grudges, they are known to go so far as to murder a kids family for the transgression of spilling ice cream on the favorite shirt of the local head honcho. (In this particular encounter Ricardo of the Middle wanted to get payback by killing the 12 sinners because 1 of them stole his hair coupons). 3. Their organization structure is very College greek life in feeling, with the leaders of various groups being called "Big Brother" or "Big Sister", and the members being "Little brothers and sisters" 4. They all tend to be party people, hence the EDM aspects of this song. The fight is against a "Big Brother" of The Middle by the name of Ricardo, and he is certainly closer to the madman side, with unbeatable power (This fight is a scripted loss that you have to 'win' to get to). He was a huge wall for many players. Ricardo actually went so far out of his way to chase down the hair coupon thief that he follows us out into the middle of one of the most chaotic and dangerous 'natural' locations in The City, the Great Lake.
to explain the ships a bit better: The hook crime group (pirates, hence the ships) is basically supported by the middle, but that also means the middle can ask them to do whatever so Ricardo just went out of his way to use the pirate's ships to beat us up for stealing from him. We were sailing through the great lake to get something, and Ricardo is just an obstacle but he was one heck of an obstacle
@@Latency345 there is, I just felt that it wasn't fully necessary as background for the music. I'm also pretty sure the number of 'Greater' siblings in the organization can probably be counted on a single hand.
Their themeing is very 'Cartel', with how their hierarchy is so family oriented, especially with the fashion sense of tattoos and loose shirts and chains. And yes, the highest rank seems to be Great Brother, Great Sister

To give you an idea how outclassed our group was, Ricardo's HP was ???, and a cutscene plays when we manage to reach a treshold where he says "enough games" and anihilates the whole team in a single attack. He finds it amusing how the sinners can revive so he is letting us fight back to kill them in as many ways he can think of.
For context for the guy whose theme this is: the guy beat up the team of main characters so badly that they didn't know they could even possibly win even with their trump card (You, the layer who has the Canon ability to revive them indefinitely at the cost of massive pain). All because one of the teammates stole his hair Salon coupon
it's hard to explain just how comically petty this man is. He works for one the setting's most powerful criminal organisations, he has enough manpower and resources under his control to level entire city blocks, he has subdermal microfiber actuators, which essentially turn him into a walking tank, and the mere mention of his name make his enemies contemplate suicide. So THIS GUY, who can pop a man's head like a grape shows up with a whole-ass battleship and dozens of goons, all to fight like, seven people and an alarm clock, all because ONE MAN stole some f*cking hair salon coupons from his private safe. coupons, which he can probably get more than he could ever need, and hek, he can just walk into the barbershop and the workers there would gladly do whatever he wants out of sheer fear. And yet he comes all the way across one of the most dangerous regions of the world with an entire army, just so he can PERSONALLY beat YOU up for DARING to f*ck with him. so yea, he's a yakuza boss with the power of a nuclear Missile in each of his punches and we love him.
