She has a pipe organ voice but she can scale it down to an harmonica when she wants to. I love that polyphonic color. And I think she must be the most beautiful singer ever.
What a great live version of a great song. It's a really authentic sounding take with the cello player recreating on stage the pizzicato parts that really add something. The vocals echo the angst and feeling that she put into the studio version. Good quality video too. Thanks for posting, very enjoyable to watch (I did see Belinda perform this on the 'Runaway Horses' tour at Wembley).

Three days before this I was right at the front dead centre in Peterborough. The crowd was much closer than shown here as there were no cameras. It was just a barrier with a small space for the security guy to stand in. Really enjoyed the show. It's a fantastic tune BTW. So classy
@@fomalhauto I thought she was really good but to be honest I was just hyper with excitement being so close to my favourite artist. I know my brother was impressed with her singing and remarked that it wasn't like she was being ghosted by the backing vocalists. The one thing I would mark her down on though was the lack of audience interaction. I may be wrong but I am certain that she never said hello to the audience. Somewhere years ago there was a bootleg audio recording of the Peterborough gig and it would have been nice to listen to it to check.

the cello goes so well with this song I was lucky enough to see her perform at this concert and it has to be one of the best I have been too .
kevin Bridgewater truly lucky you. She sounds exactly like in the CD and almost unadulterated. Nowadays she’s older and her voice has subtly changed .
