Noticed you can't get 2021 Forte GT in Orange anymore. Only Red, Gravity Grey, Black, Peral White, and Deep Sea Blue. The Orange is only available in the GT-Line trim (Which basically just a sport trim of the base model and also does not have the 201HP turbo engine. Orange only comes in 147 Horsepower for the 2021 model year). Just posting this to help someone looking in the future.
That’s ok, I got the gravity grey and it looks awesome, could always get a wrap anyways. Prefer having 2021, tho idk if the specs were any different from 2020. Have 3,700 miles so far.
@@extremeencounter7458 I myself got the 2021 GT with pearl white and the GT2 package. The GT2 package for 2021 added some more safety alerts like rear cross traffic for backing out of a parking stuff and some othef minor quirks. I love the white because all the black trim on the outside pops. Plus the car doesn't look dirty due to the pearl in the paint. I like the car so far.
@@ndsports316 ah interesting, I hadn’t seen the white in person, and I was going for blue, but the Kia dealer only had manaual GT’s in grey and black, black was basic and cost more anyways. I like the slightly tinted metal looking front grille border with the red accents. I wasn’t going to get one if it wasn’t stick lol
@@extremeencounter7458 i bought a new kia forte gt in canada Just wanted to ask u if u have same issue when using apple carplay or android auto the INFOTAINMENT system lags and is bit glitchy specially changing modes doesnt show as quick on the screen as they feel
love this platform. i have an elantra GT sport and this seems to drive nearly the same. its amazing how different the car becomes when you switch from normal to sport mode. one second its collected and smooth, the next its this zippy sports car just egging you on to give it more gas

Starts at the parking structure in CSULA then heads east on valley, catches 710fwy S to 10 west, exits soto then gets back on the 10 east.. I literally stay in that area haha(city terrace), just got my 2021 Forte GT manual 3 weeks ago, and it's fun!!

@@sammyh.748 for the K5, my issue was with the wind noise and the way it was steering. It had this horrible pull even with the lane keep off. I heard other people complaining about wind noise too, and also with the Hyundai one too. I don't think the k5 is going to be any good. I have 2 Forte. One 2017 base model and the 2021 GT. They are both great.

Hell yeah bro I see you flipping through the gears💪 can be ackward on turns so in that situation I use the the shifter to down shift cool video preciate it as allways. Very well representation of smart normal and sport mode keep up the awesome work and the clarity is awesome

The 2020 DCT makes a lot grinding and clunking noise. I try to follow best practices for owning such DCT, but sometimes it worries me. Any comments from anyone experienced in them?
I bought a 2021 Kia Forte gt line and I noticed that when I hit 80mph it feels like it is swerving a little it’s like your driving and it’s windy outside maybe the tires need to break in
Dont be afraid to ride out the gears that's when the fun happens lol , I shift up to around 5500 6500 so, let's say I'm cruising at 30-40 I'll downshift to 2nd ride it out till 5500 6500 then shift to 3rd ride it out then so on

Thinking of buying the MY21, how does the exhaust sound outside? Does it have some pops and bangs? Also, does the rear lighting all lights up including middle?
The exhaust sounds sporty and a bit aggressive. Here's a video of it: ruclips.net/video/o4iEzv7F08A/видео.html It does not pop or bang. The exhaust makes more of a burble sound. Similar to a VW GTI. The middle rear area doesn't light up.

I wanted to buy it but unfortunately deaership would not let it go 1k less than they are offering nor any options/accesories for free. Plus 2 months wait. They just didnt give me an x factor to say 'ok, il buy it'....
@@brobro251 I'm surprised they were that firm on price considering we're in the last month of 2020. I would recommend getting quotes from multiple dealerships, then for example you can say dealership B has this so and so price and ask them can you do better? If they can't, walk away and remove them from your list. Keep doing this until you hopefully get a dealership that is willing to work with you. Good luck man!

I love the gear spacing on gears 1-5, it works extremely well for the engine. 6 and especially 7 could be a tad taller for better fuel economy.
For sure , it’s not like ur going anywhere in those high gears anyways . On the highway i wish i had like a good extra long 7 or a extra gear lol

Change the interior and exterior lighting to LEDs makes a huge difference for mine.

The Kia Forte GT rides firm compared to other cars in its class. Definitely test drive it to see if you're okay with the ride.
